PROS: This is always my go-to lego store. They keep it clean, friendly, and the shelves are always stocked. Anytime Lego comes out with a new product this place makes sure they get it. For those who have young children, this is quite possibly the most important store in the biggest mall in the state. Yes, a Lego store. Try spending a few hours at this mall like you did when you didn't have a kid. You'll realize that it's the biggest challenge you've ever faced in your life. Yes, you might like to walk through clothing stores all day long, trying on thousands of clothes, but your two-year-old sure as hell doesn't. If you want to avoid going nuclear by handing your screaming child a mobile device, then this is the place. They'll get a chance to use their imagination for a short while, and you get to take a breather. There are always blocks out on a table for kids to play with here, as well as a figure-building station. Be sure to mix things up with the indoor play area that's just downstairs next to the food court, and you just might survive a day out at the mall with the little one. read more

As mentioned, the store has some nice displays and if you're into Lego, you'd surely find something that suits you. As with most Lego stores, they have an area in which you (kids or YOU) can build your own figure for $9.99 and they have a lot of different parts. Jared was on staff today and he my day! I always enjoy the staff at this location and today I met Jared for the first time! He has such a happy energy I would be surprised if this wasn't his dream job. He was very helpful to my boyfriend looking for a certain set, letting him know the best day to come back to get it! And he helped me find two Harry potters sets that go well together. It was nice to talk to someone who enjoys the nostalgia of the new HP sets. We also had a glitch with our vip card which he helped sort out, that way we didn't loose points. I can't say enough about the staff here, never disappointed. read more

I think Lego Stores are pretty damn cool, but my son thinks they're like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. My wife and I stopped in this location while Christmas shopping yesterday and all I could imagine is that my son felt a little twitch while he was still in school. The employees here were super friendly and very helpful, but when it came right down to it, we only spent about $20 here...I've discovered that Legos are apparently made of gold, and that the sets my son wants may also be studded with diamonds. $400 for a Star Wars ship??? Sorry kid, I think the elves may be having a bit of a labor dispute this year... read more

Every time I visit this store with my children, we are always greeted by the staff members and they always ask if they can assist us. Howard is our favorite person there bc he is caring and knows the products they offer. He gives great suggestions every time I'm on a slump trying to pick a gift for my children and for my nephews and nieces. They also for months kept reminding me to make sure I register my VIP card or else I would lose points. It took awhile for me to get it together but I loved their persistence and the fact that they cared for the points I've accumulated from the many visits I've had in the store. There is also another associate there who's always so friendly and helpful. I'm only ashamed to not remember her name , but she is this Filipino girl with glasses. Whoever you are, thank you!! Whenever I come to GSP, I always find an excuse to stop in here & see what's new. I've been to the big Lego Store in Rockefeller Center, & I've visited the huge one in Downtown Disney (Orlando, FL). But this! This is the only mall-sized Lego Store I've seen -- and it's great. I come here often for children's birthday gifts, because who doesn't love Legos? They're colorful, they're fun, & they encourage imagination, creativity, & engineering. Mmm hmm, that's right, I'm one of those people who wants the kids to learn something from their toys lol. Hooray for motor skills! This store may not have every single set you've ever seen, but it looks like they always have a good rotation of the newest sets, the popular themes (Star Wars, town stuff, pirate ships?), Minifigs galore, and a really decent selection of Duplo blocks for the little ones. Plus I think they have in-store demos & activities a couple of times a month. The staff is great at suggesting gift ideas, because I often stop in with no idea as to what a 6-year-old boy is interested in right now. Boba Fett? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Right this way! On my most recent trip, thanks to expert advice of a friendly staff member, I bought an adorable Duplo boat set for ages 1.5 - 3. It was a little floating Lego boat, and it comes with a few zoo animals that are designed to play with in the bathtub! So cute. Even though it's smaller than the major locations, this Lego Store is really just a great & easy place to shop for kids (or for yourself, no shame!). read more

They have a large selection. Some of the stuff you simply can't find in a toy or department store. Surprisingly, they are less expensive then most toy or department stores (what I bought was $10 more at Target and $15 more at Toys R US) Giving three dollar signs for price because for tiny plastic blocks I think they are expensive (even if the store is more reasonable then other outlets) read more

Yes, I'm an alleged adult, but I still like a good Lego from time to time. Keeps my eye hand coordination going! The staff is always great when it comes to asking question or having a problem with a set. I was missing a piece out of one of the sets I had and they looked around the store, didn't have it....told me how I could get one online and to get free shipping to boot. Definitely a great place, and even if you aren't a Lego fan, give it a shot! read more
