Military (Active Reserves) CONCLUSION/ TLDR: Inconvenient, inconsistent, overpriced, and best yet: This place will take your money and hand you soggy, smelly product while smiling. Pros: 1.Amazing maintenance team, love em to death. Cool and good work ethics. 2.Good response time on maintenance. 3. Online portal for payments is fine, a little hard to track the charges, but has been good. 4. Fairly easy to use website for maintenance requests, etc. Cons: 1.The amount of money you owe in small things like utilities is in the fine print, not blatantly stated as a good-willed landlord would state. 2. Trash used to be good, but now maintenance team takes care of it, maybe 1 or 2 times a week (paid trash service for daily) 3. Obvious disregard for property on East Side (where I stay). I am pretty sure either a homeless man broke into an apartment and stayed rent free or somehow got an apartment here, but the dude is insane, not to mention LOUD. Throws stuff around. 4. Music across the street at Cafe is very loud along with pool partying neighbors. 5.Over priced. 6. Last but not least, the management WILL read your email, but completely ignore your requests. Good luck having your phone call answered, let alone have them in the office to answer your call. 7. Security? Where? My girlfriends car was hit and run, middle of the day. I moved here originally in 2016 and this place started out nice (great management, good trouble ticket times) but year over the year and changing ownership to AXIOM (which was the worst move ever) went from actual management who cared about problems and issues to "put everything in an online que" and hope it gets fixed. Don't believe the photos that are online because the actual property no longer looks that clean/updated anymore. Photoshop can only do so much. They built one thing that was cool, a over sized chessboard by the pool, don't think you can play though.... The chess pieces have all but been broken or stolen and not replaced. Like being woke up to loud screaming at odd hours of the night and cops responding to calls on an almost nightly basis? Then this place is for you. Do you like the "security gate" that works 1/2 the time? Then this place is for you. Do you like COLD showers (Because 1 the hot water isn't really hot and 2 works half the time)? Well this place is for you. Do you like your vehicle being hit in the middle of the night and them not having any cameras properly pointed at the parking lot? Then this place is for you. Do you like dishwashers that never actually clean the dishes? This place is for you. There is also most likely mold or growth in the walls because my apartment flood not once but twice and there was never any remediation done. Do you like the look of chains on gate's? Then this place is for you. If you live on the first floor, good luck having any piece and quiet because they removed all the carpet from the 2nd floor now you hear EVERYTHING on the first. Their "Remodel" is a 'new" floor, a black splash in the kitchen and some paint.. I was told one thing then called a month later then told another. This place is WAY overpriced for what you get out of it. Oh yea and they also kept your security deposit. Every since Crystal and Angie left this place has been a shithole.. Edit Update: After my initial post, I was put back in contact with "management". They asked me to remove my yelp post and I told them this post was staying up until my deposit was returned and they agreed to return my deposit. Would genuinely give this place zero stars if I could. If you're a fan of inconsistent access to hot water, little to no access to office or maintenance staff and a reliable infestation of roaches, flies, AND wood beetles, this is the place for you! I just left this complex after living there for a little over a year, despite my lease being eleven months. I came to the office two months before my lease ended and had an extensive conversation with the previous property manager (They've had at LEAST three property managers since I moved in December 2022) in which I was explaining I was moving out, that I felt incredibly unsafe in my apartment and that the price increase made it unrealistic for me to continue living there. The manager was understanding and confirmed with me that I would be moving out, only to tell me when the time came for me to actually leave that what *I* had thought was a sixty-day notice and she had ALSO acknowledged as my sixty-day notice was actually invalid. She told me my options were stay there for the full sixty days or take a hit to my credit score. I chose the former. They then bumped my rent to their inflated prices; I went from paying $1099/mo (still outlandish for the "quality" you get) to close to $1500 after all the random fees they tack on. A month or two into living at Lenox, a man I did not know attempted to break into my apartment. Another thing - police response times to this complex are atrocious. Took about 4 hours for them to arrive and do nothing, and when I told the office about the attempt and how I felt unsafe & wanted to, at the very least, switch units, all I got was an apology. Don't be dissuaded by the delayed response times, though! I was woken up at least twice a week because of either EMS, a fire truck, or multiple police cars pulling into the complex at odd hours of the night. Could I tell you why? Nope. But I can tell you this was a weekly occurrence! About a month after that incident, one of my neighbors was walking around the complex brandishing a firearm and screaming homophobic slurs. Again, told complex. Got an apology. This heartfelt solution solved all my problems and from then on out I felt very safe living there, save for the times random men would be fistfighting in the middle of the street, or when I had to pull used needles out of my tires because my neighbors left them in the street when they were done using them, or when *more* random men would be loitering outside the apartments for hours, at any hour of the day. I don't know if this is true but I was told by a long-term resident that the studio apartments on the first floor are used as halfway housing for men who just got out of prison. Which - great resource! However, it's something I wish I was aware of before signing a lease as a young woman living on the first floor. Again, I have no way to verify if this is true, but based on my experience with the people living there I wouldn't be that surprised if it was. On the topic of who your neighbors will be, someone was getting evicted on a weekly basis. My next door neighbor was evicted after breaking all the windows of her apartment - when I was told this by office staff, she offhandedly mentioned how they'd just been accepting tenants and they needed to screen them better. So rest assured, this is an issue the complex is aware of and has done absolutely nothing to resolve it. Back to the price, my rent was $1099 a month. I usually ended up paying $1250-$1300 for whatever random fees they would tack on, most of which they don't tell you about. You pay a decent amount for a daily trash valet service that comes three times a week if you're lucky. The singular dumpster was constantly overflowing or being emptied by individuals digging trash out of it, so you get to enjoy a little Mario Kart simulator in dodging the trash bags people leave in the road! What fun! Office staff has a turnover rate just as high as their tenants. It took over a year for my realtor to get his finder's fee for the apartment because none of them cared to put it through. I put in a few maintenance requests for a missing closet door, missing shelf and missing produce drawers in my fridge. Never resolved. Any time I went to the office to explain my discomfort, whatever new manager or desk girl that was there would have no idea about the previous instances despite me having been there multiple times. They will never answer your phone calls and are in the office for probably an hour or two, so good luck trying to get in contact with someone literally ever. The last time I dropped by the office because I'd heard nothing about my lease ending and what I needed to do for them, the current manager had no idea I was still living here. Again, I got an apology for the inconvenience and my awful experience. Appreciate the gesture but it doesn't change the fact that Lenox apartments scammed me out of god knows how much, and they'll probably take my security deposit too. read more

Lived here for two years and so happy to be moving out. The patios are rotten, the wood that supports it is literally caving in. There's never any hot water and there's constantly roaches even though we pay for pest control. This may be do to the fact the trash is always over flowing. There is zero upkeep and maintenance has zero idea what they are doing. The ac in are apartments has been leaking for over 3 month and now there is mold. read more

I have lived here since January and honestly this complex is amazing! The location is spectacular if you want to be in the Galleria and the price for my 2bed/2bath in such a value for the area. I have a completely new renovated apartment, the complex is quiet and safe. The office staff, especially Ana, is super friendly and always willing to help. I currently live here. I will be as honest as possible in my review and still try to keep it succinct. The old management was downright horrible. They have since been replaced with amazing new management, so I won't go into the transgressions of past management. The maintenance team has also been replaced and have been very prompt. For me, the pros far out weigh the cons and I will be renewing my lease, especially with the new management that has fixed every issue I have brought up to the best of their ability. Pros: -My particular apartment didn't flood at all in Hurricane Harvey and my car parked outside was fine -EXCELLENT location, right near Westheimer so it's about a mile from anything you could ever want, and a few miles from the galleria mall -New management is very prompt and always holding events -The price is really good for the size and location -Hardwood floors, a washing machine, brand new appliances (had to wait 6 months for them but got them in the end) -Good layout for my one bedroom that makes it feel bigger than it is -Really pet friendly and have been flexible about paying the pet deposit -Neighbors are very friendly and this is a nice area. Have never had any issues with them personally Cons: -Older building -The pool never seems to be maintained -Not the quietest where I am. People like playing, music into the late hours at least one weekday night a week -Fitness center isn't great. Only has a few treadmills, a few tall bikes (too tall for me), kettle bells and barbells. There is a weight bench but no free weights (what I was looking for) -Utilities bill is often late -Although they are working to remove the fee, cannot pay with a card online at the moment, just with check or money order in person -Mirrors EVERYWHERE. it doesn't make the apartment look bigger, just makes me feel like I'm in a fun house. Had to cover them up with blankets -Roaches, but that's common for this area and they are prompt about sending people to spray -It's a gated community but the gate code never changes so it might as well not be. We actually had a former resident knock on our door telling us he still hung out with his friend in the empty apartment, he was surprised it was occupied -our apartment is technically on Fountain View, and the apartments aren't labeled well so every time we order food, people get lost and we have to direct them over the phone -We pay $20 a month for parking but the spot we chose has trash bins on the other side and always smells horrible (like gagging, going to my car). Since my spot is also right next to the gate, sometimes random people will park there and use it as free parking. Annoying because more than once, I have had to park way in the back because some ass decided my paid parking spot was their free spot. read more

The location is pretty good, the parking is horrible! They want extra money for an awning coverd parking spot. The uncovered spots are few and far between! So your practically forced to pay ! The staff and manager are cold and insensitive, THREATENED to tow my car from a covered spot that novody even pays for next to four dumpsters that smell like shit ! RUDE I dont recommend living here.
