After pulling into a shared lot (a landscape design and build is next door), I entered the ranch style business with a central room and a couple smaller ones containing a wide variety of objects. There is a section for ladies' clothing, and lots of tables and cabinets loaded with items. In fact, even some of the shelves and cabinets are for sale too! I saw tableware, decorative pieces, items promoting Terre Haute, candles, and art pieces. The woman who was working was pleasant and asked if I was looking for anything in particular. Products vary from local consignments by local artisans to cool clothing simply in stock. Some clothing, some funky jewelry, some houseware type stuff like wall hangings and dish towels and the like, some super cute toddler clothes. Not a huge store, but one of those places that are somewhat overload for your eyes in the abundant beautiful displays of product. Owner on sight and staff super friendly and welcoming. The place was just packed with people. But this team was ready. The shelves still looked nice and there were no lines to check out because there was a line attendant and they opened up registers to keep the lines from forming. This team knows what they're doing. I had a plethora of things I needed and asked one of the girls that was socializing up front for help, she responded with using her finger to point in the direction of where to find what I needed. Tried to get another person to help and she too responded with a pointer finger. I ended up pushing two carts by myself on one trip and not a single person offered help. I don't think that's too much to expect from a store like this as Lowes, Menards, and Home Depot are always willing. I also was looking to purchase 2 of the biggest/most expensive shop vacs that rural king has to offer, which they didn't have in stock, and they tried to get me to buy the smaller/cheaper ones instead. Fortunately I convinced the manager to sell me the display unit at a discounted price (turns out it was missing parts too.) The prices on ALL of the pressure washers were wrong, it took about 45 minutes to get an employee to get another employee, who in turn had to get another employee to help me find the right pressure washer. I would have spent another $150-$200 on gloves, but they did not have ANY of the right material gloves in stock for men, and were unwilling to check to see if they had any backstock. The ONLY reason I give 2 stars is because the lot guy (the only 18-20 year old guy I saw at the store) was more than willing to help me load everything in my truck after I asked him on my first visit, and when he recognized me upon my return he again offered to help. For such a big business you would think that there would be more than ONE helpful employee in the whole building...

I have always loved this Rural King!! but today I bought two under Armour outfits for my…read moregrandchildren, brake fluid and grease for my fittings on my zero turn and a 5 gallon bucket with a lid. I didn't notice until I got to my house that the girl put my under Armour outfits, which were off-white and gray in the bucket with my brake fluid and my grease tube, the outfits were not in a sack. If there had been one smudge of crap on those outfits they would've went back with for once acting like a karen! I can't believe she threw that in there I usually don't get upset, but when I saw this I thought how stupid! Ok, I had my karen moment.
