If all contractors communicated the way Rudy does, half of the world's problems would probably be solved (ok, slight hyperbole). From start to finish, Rudy was incredibly communicative, knowledgeable, professional, and transparent. He let me know when he was heading to my house, when he arrived on the property, and when he left. I never had to wonder whether he was coming or if I had been ghosted by yet another contractor. He kept every appointment and did exactly what he said he was going to do. Apparently, this level of reliability does still exist! He was also extremely respectful and as another Yelper mentioned, never pushy about upselling me. He listened to what I wanted, worked with me, and offered ideas about what would look best in my backyard. I felt like I was getting genuine advice rather than a sales pitch. There are maybe one or two other people I've hired over the years whom I would gleefully recommend without hesitation. Rudy is now firmly on that very short list. If anyone I know needs bistro lights installed, I wouldn't just recommend him. I'd probably insist. My only complaint is that Rudy doesn't offer more services. I wish he were a roofer, carpenter, electrician, plumber, handyman...hell, at this point, I wish he did everything. I'd hire him for my entire house. Thank you sooooooo much Rudy and team. Here's my experience with them:…read more First off, check out the fake reviews that Yelp filtered out. I didn't see these until after I signed the contract. I hired them because I wanted a licenced contractor to finish an ADU  where another contractor left off. I got charged a lot of money but the quality of work was completely lacking. Cabinets were not straight, the counter top was not installed correctly, appliances were not installed correctly and on and on we kept finding mistakes and short cuts  made by the workers they hired. We were given numerous excuses why this and that couldn't be done. Well come to find out all of what they denied could have and should have been done.  You'd be better off hiring the guys in front of Home Depot than using these guys. Anyway, so Gal Sharvit is the one that comes out to give the estimates and oversee the work(which he barely did).  What he did do was ask for payment before the work was complete. I thought he was the one with the licence. It turns out his father Simon is the one with the license and he never once came over to supervise the work nor did I ever speak with him. This seems illegal at worst and shady at best. Most of the time a guy named Ben was there with one of the day- laborers. He often would point out all the mistakes from the other contractor and say how his guys would have done a better job. Unfortunately for us, their work was so poor that we had to hire other guys to fix all the mistakes they made.  You can see these guys have written numerous 5 star  fake reviews for themselves. They are located under "reviews that are not recommended" and most are written within a day of each other.
