I am not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. Came in yesterday with my dog and partner and we did a ton of the 5 dollar appetizers. We got potstickers, eggrolls, tempura green beans, tacos, meatballs, chicken wings, bruschetta, and I'm sure I'm forgetting something and an unseasoned patty for the dog. My server was wonderful took great care of us an my dog made sure to bring her ice water. She checked on us frequently. We ate outside and it was just us and we went right when they opened so it wasn't too hot yet. I didn't take pictures like I usually do I forgot cause I was starving. We got 8 appetizers and a dog patty and we left a tip and the bill was only 58. Where else can you do that? We will continue to return here. read more

I went on a Saturdav afternoon. There were maybe 7 people in there all the actual bar. We walked in, a party of 3, not one person greeted us.There 3 tables in the back We sat at one anc realized there was a spilled drink on the floor When someone finally came over, we informec her of the spilled drink. She seemed annoved immediatelv and said we would have to move Which we understood and no problem doina so There were 2 other options that we could sit at One was on the other side but she stated that it had to be cleaned. So we sat at the middle table The one that she mentioned she had go clean never hot cleaned nor did she offer to wipe it off for us. A different waiter came over to a male. We asked for a drink recommendation. he told us one and we ordered it and decided to change the order once we realized that it had egg whites in it. He hadnt left or officiallyput in the order because we were still ordering food. He had an attitude immediatelv. The food was good. The sliders were not. But the green beans fries were good. We got our food and also ordered one more round of drinks. After that we were not served anymore despite waiters going to both tables on either side of us multiple times. We were never checked on. We never received our bills. We physically got up to the bar and waited at least 5 minutes before we were even greeted there to pay our bill. This was a terrible experience and certainly would not consider going back to that location. They only got one star because the food was good otherwise it would opt in for zero stars. read more

Very cool pub with a laid back and welcoming environment. The layout is nice with some televisions for easy viewing in any spot. The staff were friendly and gave suggestions to my wife and I since we were first timers. The tempura green beans were so delicious. Highly recommend these as an appetizer. That said, I've noticed on multiple visits that service can be a little inconsistent. Couple of years ago I had the great pleasure of discovering and having drinks and great appetizers at the original Lincoln pub in Fresno's Tower District. Withe that said I heard that Lincoln has opened its second location in Old Town Clovis. I was extremely excited to try the one in Clovis, but boy was I disappointed . As we walked in we were not greeted at all by the staff, she was standing by the bar and playing on her phone. I greeted her twice, absolutely no response. We had to find the booth and seat ourselves. The booth that we sat in was not cleaned, I walked out with stains all over my pants. Finally, someone showed up to check on us. We asked for some water and were told to go get water for itself at their water station. The food was mediocre at best, small portions and flavorless. The only positive was the alcoholic beverages that we had and maybe the decor, otherwise an absolute bust. Do not recommend this place at all. There are many other good places in Old Town to have a drink or two. If you want to try Lincoln pub in Tower District, that would be your best bet. read more

Stopped in on a Sunday evening about 7:15. P.m.. most tables inside were occupied, there are still a couple tables out on the patio. Interior seams similar to previous establishment. There was one person behind the bar and one server for about 10 or 11 tables. however, service was fairly quick. Ordered a couple drinks which arrive promptly. Drinks are very tasty and inexpensive. Most cocktails are about $7 a cocktail. And they use fairly decent alcohol. Food was fresh, tasty, fast and inexpensive as well. Two street fish tacos for $6 with fresh toppings! Pride calamari was okay. Fish and chips were good. A little bit on the salty side so ask for lite salt. However were not greasy. Decent portion size for $12. The California burrito one was a good option for a knowledge on regular El burrito filling stoppings and a burrito that was grilled For $8. Reportedly they do breakfast during the weekends. Not sure if they do brunch items like Benedict's which they used to do at the Tower district location. Definitely a worthwhile stop in Old Town. Clovis if you don't want to go to a dive bar for good, inexpensive drinks And freshly prepared food. read more

I finally got to try The Lincoln Pub & Grub in Clovis the other night, and overall it was a good experience. I mainly came for the drinks, and I was impressed right away with how reasonably priced everything was. They have $5 cocktails, which is such a great deal! I tried the Garden Mule (a little stiff, but still really tasty) and the Strawberry Fields, which was super refreshing and quickly became my favorite. We ordered a few appetizers to go along with our drinks. I tried the boneless wings with red curry, which had good flavor but was a bit heavy on the curry for my taste. The Smoked Pork Belly Mac & Cheese sounded amazing, but for me it ended up being a little too oily. I also tried the chicken street tacos, which were okay. While the food wasn't really my favorite, I do think the prices for both food and drinks are hard to beat. The vibe here is laid back, the bartender was friendly, and it's a great spot if you're looking for good drinks and a night out that won't break the bank. When you have a table full of people you should make it known you won't do separate tabs especially when people first walk in and ordered drinks directly from the bar and gave their card to the bartender. If we would have known that we would have asked to be charged as drink was ordered instead of keeping tab open. I love the Lincoln pub out in the tower district. I decided to have lunch at the Clovis location on a weekday during my lunch hour. Upon arrival no greeting, which is fine. Ordered food and 30 mins in, still no food. Mind you I'm on my lunch break. I walked out and told the server she can cancel it. They only had one bartender and one cook working. It doesn't make sense to only have 2 people working on a weekday especially during a time when people come to eat during their lunch hour. Will never go back to the Clovis location. The bar itself is an amazing atmosphere and just happens to have phenomenal food items! The service here is a bar atmosphere type of service once they get to you they treat you like family. The establishment is developed for the sake of craft bar drinks with amazing finger food. I ordered a soda and when I asked for a refill, it never came back until I asked for it many minutes later. A server spilled a beer on my legs and nothing was said...but the beer bottle was plunked on our table. Our tab had our order and the table next to us's tab. One of the servers said she would send her slave over to help clear the table. We had a party of five and were charged gratuity as if we had a party of six. We had beer battered big fried mushrooms 5$ veggie egg rolls 5$ lilly had a drink the bartender made up like a strawberry daquori on rocks , pina colada on rocks both 5$. I had a negroni, an acquired taste I'm still acquiring, gin camparí sweet vermouth 7$ , fish and chips with garlic fries 13$ and lilly was going to get a grilled chicken salad 11$ but got full.
