I stopped in after seeing this place featured in Fresno's Best magazine for having the best nachos and Bloody Mary. Unfortunately, my experience didn't quite live up to the hype. I ordered the asada nachos and was surprised by the $8 upcharge for the meat. The portion was extremely small--honestly, an Oscar Mayer hot dog contains more beef. The nachos themselves were decent, but far from memorable, especially considering the nearly $25 price tag. I also tried a couple of drinks. The pineapple upside-down cocktail was enjoyable, though definitely on the sweeter side, and I couldn't really taste any alcohol in it. Since the Bloody Mary was voted Best in Fresno, I had to give it a try. It wasn't bad, but it was pretty average and didn't stand out from countless others I've had. The real highlight of this place is the staff. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. If you're looking for a sports bar atmosphere with plenty of games on TV, you'll probably enjoy it. If you're primarily looking for exceptional food, there are better options in town. read more

My wife and I have eaten at the Field House regularly for over 4 years. The service has always been excellent and the food is delicicious...although we usually stick to our one or two favorites since they are the reason we keep coming back. The restaurant is always clean and inviting. We really enjoy the Crunch Wrap, the BBQ Smash Burger and the Triple Play Tacos. read more

Once I arrive at the Field House I parked there's plenty of parking on site at no cost. I was able to locate my group inside the Restaurant. Our server Kylee did an outstanding job providing Customer Service to the group. I ordered the taco plate that came with a side of chips and salsa. There are plenty of television screens for you and your friends or family to watch the games that are currently playing. The prices are fairly reasonable for the area. Okay, full disclosure--I haven't been here in years, and honestly, I'm not even sure if I ever had a full meal before. But today was different. I stopped in for lunch to catch some sports on their incredible TVs. The place has been remodeled since my last visit, and I love the new look. The separation between the bar and restaurant makes it much more appealing. I was craving the Black and Blue Burger I saw on Yelp, but unfortunately, it wasn't on the menu. The shoestring fries also caught my attention. Thankfully, our amazing waitress, Ryann, went out of her way to check with the kitchen, and they made it happen. And wow--it did not disappoint! The burger came loaded with bacon, crumbled blue cheese, and crispy onion straws, and I upgraded to garlic fries. Absolutely incredible. I can't believe I've been sleeping on this place for so long. Also, love that they serve Pepsi. Ryann was attentive, friendly, and accommodating, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the food was excellent--a winning combo. Was in the area for a baseball game and wanted to eat somewhere casual. The atmosphere here is just like any sports bar. It's great for families or friends meeting up. The server we had was extremely friendly and attentive. We never had to wait for refills or for the check. The foot was served piping hot. I recommend the corn dip appetizer - so yummy! read more

Beer was good. Fries good. The $22 chicken sandwich tasted like rubber and they put way too much salt on it.

We went on a Sunday night and it was empty except for one other group in the bar so we grabbed a seat at the bar. The bartender, Nick, was very kind and attentive. We ordered the potato skin appetizer and then I had Nick's steakhouse burger and my boyfriend had the Crunchwrap. It was all really good! I think the burger could have used more seasoning but the A1 sauce saved it. Worth noting, their ranch is soooooo good. We'll definitely be back! read more

This place is good. Totally fine, nothing wrong. Bathrooms are clean, food is fine. I would suggest the pretzel, its massive in size and its a pretty substantial carb to absorb the alcohol. I also really enjoyed the Paloma, it was fresh and served in a large glass with lots of ice. However, its pretty pricy. There will not be any fun drafts, or great prices. There won't be some yummy bar food like at Mad Duck (looking at you buffalo chicken dip), it's just a bar, with food. It isn't like a bar where you make friends and meet people and chat with bartenders, its more of a have a drink and socialize with the person you're with type of bar. For instance, Neighbors is a friendly type of bar where everyone socializes together. Pros and cons, so it depends on what you want to do when you go out. read more

We stopped in here for a quick bite since we were in town for an event. Any sports fan would love this place - cool decor. Since we had a large party we ordered a ton of items. Everything was delicious and portions were HUGE! The Nashville chicken sandwich was especially amazing. I also enjoyed the patty melt and others in our party liked the salads, potstickers and French toast sticks. I give this place an A+. This should have been 4 stars because the food is absolutely delicious but our bartender gave us the worst service we've had in a while. Bartender seemed extremely unenthusiastic and pretty much ignored us the entire time, we had to ask for everything. I've been in the service industry it should not be this way, especially when there were a total of 6 people sitting at the bar top. Also, change up the music. The Au Jus was gross. It was in a cup that was leaning in the basket. One half of the sandwich was on top of the Garlic Fries. The Garlic Fries were not even edible. They were wet and soggy.
