I can meet with the nurse practitioner for 30 min and pay $60 when my old insurance had bumped the copay cost of a regular office visit to any dr to $80 JUST TO WALK IN THE DOOR. Other medical places charge you in tiers --- you will never be able to get out the door for anything resembling a reasonable rate. And, if you need to submit to your deductible, yes, you do it yourself, but they have a printout and all the paperwork done. You just drop it in the mail. The real beauty? You only tell your story one time, to the person who sees you... each and every time. I bet this was what it was like in the "olden days" to have a true family doctor that knew *you* and your history. Aces all around. Easy on the pocket book.

Good visit overall and loved the nurse practitioner. They were running a bit behind but once I was called back there were no issues. Picked up some prescriptions and was seen for this cold that was not the Flu or Covid but had similar symptoms. It's a good option and decent care if you need to be seen and can't get into your primary but doesn't constitute urgent or emergency care.
