Yea, the looks are pretty bare minimum on the outside. The waiting room is devoid of color, excitement, and basically everything (I was the only one in there for my short 10 minute wait). But that's the glory of it. I was in and out of this place in an hour! In fact within that hour time span I was already on the way to the pharmacy. So this place ruled. I saw a Nurse Practitioner who was able to easily identify my issue. Not gonna lie, I already identified my issue before being seen, which was some type sinus/ear infection. But she told me that after her assessment that was her suspicion and followed up with a "now let's see what your white blood cell count-- oh wow. Well with how good you look now, I wasn't expecting it to be THAT high." Let's face it. I'm a warrior. Anyways, this place got me in an out faster than any other. Plus it's across the street from work. No copay for me. They will charge you whatever your normal doctors office does. Haven't gotten the bill yet but I have a feeling it will be worth the prompt care I received.

I don't know anyone that really wants to have surgery. However if you need surgery this is an…read moreexcellent facility to have it at. First the communication pre-surgery is fantastic. I have a number of allergies and medical conditions and was concerned about the surgery. During the week before my scheduled procedure I was able to communicate with the surgeon and her nurse via Baptist MyChart. Each time I posed a question I got an answer within hours. Dr. Bauer went so far as to list all the medications that would be used during the surgery so I could confirm any allergies that may not have been listed ony records. There was also clear communication about prep for surgery, arrival time, parking location, the need for a driver, and post surgical instructions. The day of surgery was also an extremely positive experience. Check in was a breeze. The nurse that was processing me for surgery was very thorough on confirming my medications and allergies. After getting prepped they brought my husband back to join me. He stayed in the same area until I returned from surgery. The actual surgery was outstanding. I had opted to not be sedated or medicated due to medical conditions that it could have had negative affects on. Since I was fully aware of everything that was going on the surgical nurse asked me if I wanted her to stay quiet or give me a blow by blow description of what was occuring. I told her I was nosey and would love the description of what was happening. She said you're not nosey, you're educated. So the nurse in a calm manner told me when I was going to be scrubbed, when I would feel a cold numbing agent, and each step of the procedure. She also told me estimated time left in the procedure, etc. After the procedure I was taken back out and joined my husband in post op. Because I wasn't sedated the recovery time was only about fifteen minutes. We were sent on our way with good verbal and written instructions. I wouldn't hesitate to have any surgery done at Baptist Eastpoint Surgical Center. Definitely a five star experience.

I have always received top care with this practice. The front office staff are super friendly and…read morepleasant. The nursing staff are considerate and efficient. The doctors are highly skilled and great listeners. There may be slight delays to have bloodwork but this is nothing atypical of a busy medical practice. If there is any area in need of improvement, it would be the communication between pharmacies and the office. I'm not sure where the breakdown in communication is but at times there have been delays or lack of follow through.

A nurse came out and got me and took me into an exam room. Within minutes the door opened and three nurses walked in followed by APRN Audrey. they begun by taking my vitals and then asking me a series of questions to find out what care I needed. they assed my wound and applied the necessary medicine and bandages. I have never had such a great treatment by so many nurses. They were all friendly and the most helpful was APRN Audrey P Johnson. I need to return next week to follow up and see how it is healing. This is a very First Class location.

Be it this experience was different, sure the wait was awful, but anyone and not just me that needed anything, those nurses made sure to something for any request they could fulfill in that moment. many patients approachEd the desk, asking simply for medication while they wait, and like I said they did that and many others, they did their job and they did it really well. Once they figured out everything and I was able to be seen, they took care of me and I felt like family to strangers in company. Shout out to Katlyn, and making sure I was in the loop of what to do going forward, I felt very comfortable handling myself from this experience. I really appreciated the time they took to take care of me, I hope they all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy new year!!

And still they have and not call in the 3 prescriptions they told me would be ready in 30 mins yesterday when I left their office. I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos but my numbers aren't out of range yet. However, because I'm showing symptoms and truly suffering right now he agreed to start meds to see if they'd make me feel better. He also looked through labs that another doctor had drawn. He couldn't believe how high my inflammation markers were. He asked what was being done about them. While he agreed that the medication was the correct one he didn't agree with the dose. He stated that "he does not like stepping on other doctor's toes but that the patient comes first". Since I'm so miserable he wants to hit it hard and is increasing the dose. I can't tell you how grateful I am that I've found doctors who truly listen to me and appreciate that I'm well educated and knowledgeable about my issues. This includes the fact that he didn't push meds for diabetes on me until I was ready. I'd give this practice 5 stars if it weren't for the difficulty getting through to them via phone. I will note that unlike others, no one has been rude to me in person.
