They have a ton of acres and sheep to interact with. We couldn't believe how friendly these sheep were. The farm offers a tour which is a must when visiting. The background and operations were impressive and all ran by their family. We left learning a lot more then we expected. They also have a cute shop full of gifts and snacks. Shortly they will have their distillery going as well. This was a definitely a highlight of our trip and hope to one day come back and visit again.

They are sheared every may and their wool is then turned into all manner of high quality textiles. You are able to feed the alpacas as long as you stay within the posted guidelines. These are very shy animals but will come to you if you offer the feed that is prescribed by the farm. They have plenty available in the gift shop. ....speaking of which, there os a very nice array of assorted alpaca wool items. I picked up a really nice pullover sweater that felt so luxurious that I didn't want to take it off, so I bought it and left it on. The Mrs picked up some nice alpaca wool socks and some notecards. Others in our group bought some skeins of wool for knitting and an interesting item I never heard of before. It was a bar of soap that is embedded in some form of a wool cocoon. You just use it in the shower as a combination soap a d washcloth. The grounds are beautiful, well maintained and clean. The staff is very helpful and pleasant to deal with.

One of the unexpected highlights was Farmer Andrew's Tulip Talk -- I honestly don't know why this isn't front and center in every piece of marketing, because it was absolutely wonderful. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and his talk gave our visit so much more depth and meaning. Don't skip it! The u-pick experience was pure joy. We each got to hand-select 10 stems straight from the fields, wandering through row after row of stunning colors and varieties. The farm is beautifully laid out with so many gorgeous spots to sit, slow down, and just soak in the views of the tulips against the backdrop of the Cascades. We never felt rushed -- it truly felt like they wanted you to linger and enjoy every moment. The mini Highland cows are absolutely adorable and a total delight, especially for kids. The food vendors on site were a lovely bonus -- great options for both a meal and a snack, so you can easily make a full half-day of it. What also stood out was how relaxed the atmosphere felt. It wasn't overly crowded, and the whole vibe was welcoming and unhurried. You can tell this family pours real heart into everything they do. Tulip Valley Farms is the kind of place that reminds you to slow down and appreciate something beautiful. We'll be back every spring!

I spent so much time wondering the field I missed the coffee truck. Joe shared his personal coffee supply with me and would not accept money. Seriously made an already amazing day even more incredible. They also have a front field for photo ops, and many u-pick fields Andrew and Holly do an incredible job caring for the farm and Holly makes beautiful jewelry available for purchase. This year they added a store with shirts, stickers and stuffed baby cows! Truly my favorite farm and I highly recommend you visit now!!!!

It was a blustery Saturday, so we popped by to check out their early spring offerings and were pleasantly surprised. The outside area was sparse, as is to be expected this time of year. Although, they were starting to get some herb and veggie starts accumulated (and I anticipate will be adding more as the weather gets warmer). Inside, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find they have a beautiful gift shop full of all sorts of wonderful, garden-adjacent things. Including an adorable selection of interesting pots, as well as lots of gorgeous indoor plants. They also had greeting cards, garden tools, knick knacks, and bric-a-brac. The lady who runs the place was amazingly friendly, too! She even introduced us to their resident cat, who was very friendly. (They actually have two cats, but one is older and not as outgoing.) Can't wait to stop back by here when gardening season is in full swing!

They have a petting area with a pigmy goat, miniature cow, pig, and a donkey! She has bunnies, geese, ducks, sheep and chickens. The little store serves up homemade ice cream with lavender. There are soaps, lotions and potions all made with the lavender on the farm. You can pick your own bunch, buy a plant or just stop by and smell the Lavendar. Bring a picnic and enjoy the quiet beauty...well, until the animals get excited!
