Their chicken salad on pita is awesome. Best grape leaves ever. Greek heritage. Friendly service. Will return when back in town.

Correction: The Little Greek cafe does offer hummus :) I'm still dreaming of a falafel pita, hopefully in the future.

The open kitchen style and plenty of indirect seating make for a perfect atmosphere to have a bite. I stopped by on a Wednesday evening and staff was very kind in telling me what their favorite dishes are. With this in mind, I opted for a Pork Souvla plate with a side of Greek Style Fries and Cauliflower. The pork was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Something in the way they cook the fries too which makes for the perfect balanced of crunchy yet dense. The seasonal cauliflower was so incredible as well. Everything paired so perfectly with their Tzatziki. I was feeling greedy so I opted to try some of their Baklava. It was a perfect crescendo to such a beautiful meal. Not much else to say about this place that I haven't before. If you like Greek style food, you cannot get any better than Ilios in Fort Mill.

As I do with all new restaurants I checked out the Health Dept rating. 98.0. Yes! And with plenty of appealing options on the menu, we are all cleared to eat! I especially like how the website has pictures of food so you don't have to wonder what's on the plate. The walls are a beautiful mediteranean ocean blue and it decor just reminds me of dining in a cozy family run restaurant. Not sure if it is but it gives off that vibe. There's a big covered outdoor seating area that looks like it could be fun. But we ate inside since it was so hot. The food was delicious! Oh my gosh. My husband got the Gyro dinner with lamb, rice, salad and pita bread. I got two appetizers as my dinner. Grape leaves and kabobs. I like how the tomatoes and onions were sautéed over the beef. Everything was so good.

The service was attentive throughout our visit, and I appreciated that our server offered recommendations. They were also kind enough to refry our fries when they came out a bit mushy, which was a thoughtful touch. We started with the fried calamari, which was crispy and served with a delicious dipping sauce that really elevated the dish. I'd give it an 8/10. The Greek salad was fresh and loaded with peppers, tomatoes, and feta cheese. It was a solid, classic Greek salad, though nothing particularly stood out about it so I'd give it a 6/10. For our entrée, we ordered the Meat Trio, which came with chicken, pork, and lamb shavings, along with vegetables, pita bread, and rice, as well as the Mad Greek Salad with chicken. The presentation was great, and the portion size was generous. The lamb wasn't my favorite, but the pork was well-seasoned and full of flavor. The chicken was juicy, tender, and had a nice color. The rice was a bit bland on its own, but it paired much better with the tzatziki and the rest of the meal. The Meat Trio - 8/10 ; Mad Greek Salad with Chicken - 10/10. Overall, it was an enjoyable dining experience, and I'd come back to try some of their other entrées!
