Always love the food and supporting a local small business. The 3 is for not honoring published coupons which is not great customer service. I had a coupon from Local Flavor which are always posted on the app and available via the coupon clipper. The poor cashier was flummoxed and said she couldn't accept the coupon w/o the owner's permission. This place is a must try especially if you love Greek food. They are authentic Greek. The place is a very cute divey hip place in the very cute downtown Waxhaw area which makes for a great date night. It's supper clean very with friendly service and to die for food. Being that I've gone to Greece several times and love the food . This is the closest I've found in N.C by far that is traditional authentic Greek . We eat here at least 3 times every visit to N.C from California . Oh, if you like beer, then you have to try the Mytho's beer too. That's the Greek beer as well with a Great flavor. Enjoy. I never considered how important the oil to vinegar ratio is to make great dressing...Greco in Waxhaw gets it right every time. We have also order other items such as the gyro and fries. I love that you can add feta and seasoning to the fries...so good! The workers are friendly and it is also very easy to place an order by phone or in person as I have done both. So good! The one complaint is the challenge of finding seating, even at a time between lunch and supper. I guess that speaks to how good it is. Our group ordered a variety of dishes. The picky eater among us really liked his chicken gyro. I really enjoyed the lamb gyro but was not impressed by the "spicy" fries. I tried my son's lemon oregano fries and they were delicious. We LOVE the other Greco Fresh Grille location in and the food here was nearly identical. The only problem with the experience is the tiny dining room and Waxhaw's bizarre town center. Lots of cute shops and an adorable vibe but the traffic and parking can be dicey. The mix of cars and pedestrians roaming all over is an accident waiting to happen. We ate at a 2 seater metal bistro table right in front of the cashier next to the line waiting to order. Not quaint. If the weather was conducive to being outdoors, their covered patio would be lovely. The food is worth it, though and the tzatziki is great. read more

I have always eaten at the Wesley Chapel location but recently saw this and finally had an occasion to stop! The decor is really nice and despite not looking like much on the outside has a nice clean and upscale feel. I always have the Lahano Salad with salmon. I am not sure if it was a singular incidence, but the salmon piece was half the size as usual. I was a little disappointed in that but otherwise the food was delish! The tzatziki and hummus were on point and everything was well prepared and fresh. This is by far my favorite Greek chain/restaurant and although I still favor the WC location, this one is perfect for my Waxhaw visits! read more

Delicious and quick with friendly service! Stopped in for lunch while I was in town visiting family. There were 4 of us and we all got something different. It was widely enjoyed! They have a little bit of everything with salads that you can add your choice of protein to, a variety of gyro style sandwiches with different proteins, hummus with different weekly flavors, and other larger meals. As we were seeking out a lunch spot in Waxhaw, we stuck with sandwiches and salads this time! They were all quite delicious. The food and service here is wonderful. They also have a variety of fries to choose from besides plain. Your not gonna find a better and fresher tasting Gyro anywhere besides here. They also have a nice outdoor area to sit in facing the old train tracks. If your lucky you get a nice view of a train passing. Small parking area though. There's more parking along the road sides. We love Mediterranean food, in fact it's our favorite type of food. Four of us visited this location last night for the first time. We did an online order and picked up in the restaurant. Like others have mentioned, parking can be a challenge but that's the way it is in that area. We had mixed thoughts about our food. The Bad: The lettuce was wilted and a huge turn off. There was exactly one cucumber and one tomato in the side salad. The chicken was lacking enough seasoning which was disappointing. We found the hummus to be good and the feta was really good as well. Unfortunately, the pita was hard and the falafel was drier than we would like. Out of 4 meals, 3 we're lackluster. Maybe we had bad luck because we went closer to closing time.
