I had no idea Stacie was here, located in a space called the Beauty Box New York, which houses several beauty and wellness businesses. The space is newly renovated and decorated very nicely! Definitely a cool and fun place to come and relax while splurging on yourself a little! I had always been curious about semi permanent makeup but didn't know if I was brave enough and was scared of poor results. When I saw my friend share her photo post powder brow treatment I decided it was time to give it a try. Powder brows aren't as heavy as a traditional tattoo and offer a much more natural, yet made up looking effect. I have patchy brows and my oily skin doesn't let me apply makeup the way I want, especially on the brow tails. I spent so much time working on them everyday for them to just rub off. I reached out for some info and was pleasantly surprised to hear back from Stacie very quickly. Stacie is both owner of the Beauty Box and Brows by Stacie. Stacie was very knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. I felt very comfortable once we spoke and she didn't pressure me or rush me through my inquiries. I made an appointment and she went through all the pre procedure tips. The procedure itself wasn't too painful. It took about 2 hours and the tattoo portion was very short. Stacie looks at how you usually do your makeup and will map out your brows first. You get to check them and make adjustments as needed then comes the tattoo part. There was some peeling for 2 weeks which she warned me about it in my opinion was well worth it. Stacie was very professional and took her time. I am thrilled with my results. She carefully explained the after care and what to expect. My brows are gorgeous and I don't have to do much in the morning. They healed perfectly and I wake up with a natural looking brow. I am not sure why I didn't come sooner, this is a life changing service. The first appointment comes with a touch up appointment a few weeks later. I highly recommend her for powder brows and also lash lift.

They're doing a great job with COVID protocols. You wait outside or in your car until called to come in, so that you're the only one in the main area during check in and check out. You have your temp taken and asked to sanitize your hands (or wash at the sink) before getting started. It's too soon to really report on overall changes to my skin's conditions, but my facial was thorough and relaxing, and my skin was positively glowing when I left. I don't say that lightly. Allison made a lot of great recommendations, and I picked up a hydrating serum there based on her recommendations. It's a calm, relaxing atmosphere and I feel comfortable and confident there. I spent months researching technicians that would give me the results that I want. Missy did not disappoint. First and foremost, she is beautiful! Inside and out. She is so friendly and the aesthetic of her salon is so pretty. It's pink and bright and inviting. She sat me down down and applied numbing cream. I stg I felt like my eyebrows were stoned. I didn't feel a thing. We went over the type of service that would be best for me. Since I do have brows, and just struggled with them being uneven and patchy, we decided on the micro-shading, as it would be the best option for what I was looking for.
