Julieth was nothing but fantastic as our point person for the Little White Church. She was always quick to respond via email/text, answered all of your questions, and was so helpful during our venue visits. We appreciated her support and guidance as we planned to get married here. We also loved the venue because it welcomed all -- LGBTQ friendly. Our ceremony was not a religious one either, so it checked off all the boxes we were looking for. The ONLY con I would list for this venue is the parking. The lot fits some cars, but for a venue that can hold 100 guests, the parking can be a bit of challenge. However, there is plenty of parking on the weekend around the neighborhood, so just make sure to tell your guests that they might need to walk a bit. We used the parking lot as VIP for our wedding party and family members who needed to be closer to the entrance. On the day of the wedding, it was such a beautiful rush of joy and happiness to hear all of our guests arrive. We had a 5pm ceremony on a Saturday afternoon. We had acquired a classic car rental to park out front of the venue. I was in the bridal suite, and my husband was in the back spacious room, and it is designed in a way where you won't be able to run into each other. We ended up closing off half of their lot because we used it as our first look location. It was right next to this beautiful arch of flowers and greenery. So, this location had everything we needed to create the memories we wanted, and the team was a pleasure to work with, and it was affordable. Julieth is professional, helpful, amiable, communicative, pleasant to work with, and we couldn't have asked for a more awesome wedding venue to have our unique wedding. My fiance booked an appointment two weeks in advance and confirmed with the owner via Wedding Wire. We arrived at the appointed time and no one was there. I called the two listed phone numbers on Google twice and was ignored twice. My fiance called and got an answer. The owner said that she had no record of an appointment today. After informing her that we confirmed via Wedding Wire she changed her excuse and said that they had merged systems and had no record of the messages and therefore did not record our appointment. This is highly unprofessional and a massive waste of our time. The way she spoke implied that we should have confirmed our appointment with her business and her apology to my fiancé felt insincere. If you plan on using this venue be sure to confirm that someone will actually be there. read more

I tried booking a Saturday tour which was canceled last minute. I assumed it was due to an event so I tried to schedule a tour on a Sunday -- however, there was no pop-up on the website saying that they DO NOT do tours on Sunday due to the church having service. This place was amazing! We had our wedding here pre-covid on February 2nd. The whole process was seamless. Julieth had great communication with us throughout the planning process. We had our wedding here last month and I'm so glad we did. The space is beautiful and you can customize it as much (or as little) as you like, and Julieth was incredibly helpful anytime we needed anything. One advantage to having an event here is that a lot of the stuff you need to rent or pay extra for at other venues (chairs, tables, speakers to play music, etc.) is included in the rental fee. We were able to bring in the caterer of our choice too, which not every venue will allow. I had almost written this venue off because it's RIGHT next to a highway overpass and I thought we would see it (and hear it and smell it) from here, but we really couldn't. Overview: -picturesque, historic building -pretty easy street parking in the neighborhood -full kitchen with oven and dishwasher that caterer can use -not restricted to specific caterers/bartenders/vendors -private getting-ready area for bridal party off to the side -shaded outdoor area (we used for dining) -medium-sized indoor room, ideal for dancing/bar -parking lot can be used for a few cars or additional dining/lawn games/etc. -good acoustics in the church -piano included (if you want it moved out you have to pay extra, which is reasonable) read more

First of all, I want to acknowledge these ladies for their extreme kindness, patience, and professionalism. The church is a Beautiful venue but the staff is garbage will argue with you. They will be hard to contact if you have a problem but will have no problem calling you back right away if it is about payment. They are a terrible staff but it is a beautiful place. DO NOT USE THEIR VENDORS! My husband and I recently married at the LWC and chose the venue due to its gorgeous interior and perfect size/price range for us and our guests. As far as location and venue are concerned, the church was what we wanted and came out beautifully in pictures. However, what we are most disappointed by is their recommended vendors list and the touch-and-go communication we experienced from the church itself. Julieth, who takes care of the venue during events was relatively helpful while our event was taking place, but we found it was difficult to reach her outside of our rehearsal/wedding time. There were several instances when emails wouldn't be responded to for days on end, and the contact numbers listed for the church would go unanswered, and voicemails would be left unreturned. This issue is minor and could be resolved by providing accurate contact information for patrons and by being more aware of their needs before events. A huge issue we had and the main reason we are writing this review is to advise future customers against using their vendor list, and to advise the church specifically of the muck a specific vendor created for us on our wedding day. The Little White Church says they are not responsible for their vendors, but it's important to mention they have businesses listed that they've only experienced on one or two occasions before recommending them. So in reality, they don't know who they are vouching for. We made the grand mistake of hiring Kimberly from Everylasting Joy as our day-of-coordinator because Julieth specifically recommended her to us, assuring us a she was a great option for an affordable price and would "handle everything." Unfortunately, Kimberly ended up ruining most of the things she touched, and every time we attempted any kind of communication, by email, phone, or in person, there was some type of issue. Most, if not all of the vendors I contacted on their vendor list were either rude, unresponsive, or both. I remember feeling very surprised by it because the church carried themselves with such professionalism at first... I kept thinking, "how are these companies actually being recommended?!" I am disappointed to say that after having brought these issues to Holly's attention, my review was met with immediate disqualification of our experience and justification for their lack of awareness. If anything, we were barraged by examples of why we were wrong in feeling the way we did. As far as we are concerned and in spite of everything we experienced, the Little White Church is a pretty venue and can absolutely be used for making beautiful memories and taking elegant pictures. The price range was affordable at the time we booked, but we got a discounted rate so I'm not sure what the price of it is now. The space permits throwing a decent party and is equipped with bathrooms, tables, and other pieces of furniture. HOWEVER, we strongly advise AGAINST using their vendor list, and ask you to be aware that communication and openness is something the church seems to lack. If I could do it all again and marry here would I? Maybe... but as a new bride I would certainly not have trusted their suggestions. read more

This is an absolutely spectacular place! Warm and welcoming, every nook and cranny perfect, as every inch of the Little White Church has been lovingly restored. We held a Women's retreat here and it was so versatile, not to mention beautiful. We had musicians and singing as well as our speaker in the main church, and breakout groups in darling breeze ways, rooms adjacent, and in outdoor sitting areas. Then our meals were served in a large room behind the chapel. It was cooked in and catered from a sparkling new kitchen. Owner Holly and Juliet were beyond helpful and tended to details that made everything beautiful and made our guests feel pampered and cared for. We were 50, but we could have been twice (or more) that number and still been great. Needless to say, we plan to come back! read more

Thank you Holly and Julieth for making my dad's 70th birthday more memorable than I ever imagined! You two ladies were always accessible and generous with your time and advice both before and during our event. The Little White Church is conveniently located close to a major freeway, has its own parking lot and is quite picturesque on the outside. Yet the indoors is probably the most amazing part of it all! The main church is gorgeous with its stained glass windows, original hardwood floors, red door and crisp white walls and pews. The stage there was perfect for our mariachi band! So perfect that I was hesitant to decorate any more than I had to because I wanted to capture and showcase the true beauty and character of this setting. Then there is the very convenient back room with its own bathroom and kitchen. We used this space for the food and as an additional room for our guests to enjoy. The outdoor patio worked well for our younger guests to enjoy games and have their own fun, while the adults enjoyed the indoor festivities. Every guest present was comfortable and happy! Needless to say, our family and friends were impressed with my choice in venue. Many were quick to ask for more information on how they could book their next event here! The Little White Church can make any simple event feel grand because its looks are stunning and captivating.
