Just like you would expect from a baseball, football game, or county fair, it really hit the spot that night. Great selection of beers and spirits. The staff is amazing! While the food and the ambiance is great, there is a lack of professionalism from the staff seems like there are a bunch of freshly out of collage kids running around pulling each other's arms and teasing the male there, these two servers have been nothing but a vulgar show since we got here, I order steaks pizza and drinks and while waiting I noticed Rob the manager was being pulled down by his neck and giggling around, these two server were trying to arouse him and that is not why I like coming here, I like to decompress after a long day at work and enjoy some quality food while relaxing, but this vulgar inappropriate show was not what was in my plans for this evening. It's not quite the place "where everybody knows your name", but it is close enough. Good ambiance, friendly smiles, and not the usual bar food. Their Old Fashioned is a hit and I was impressed with the detail put into them with their logo branded in the large ice cube. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sliders and will be sure to ask for them again. The Local Bar is, in all its glory, my actual local bar. Its the fresh food, heavy pours, and hand crafted cocktails that keep bringing me back. It doesn't matter if it's for a quick bite or a several hour, much needed social therapy session with my crew -- this is my go to spot. What to try: hummus board, pizza, burger. Their food menu was recently consolidated so there are less options but I'm not complaining. Thursday nights are my favorite because it's Steak Night. $23 gets you a beautiful steak and either side of fries or a salad. Go with the salad - it's really good. The plate is big enough to split if you're not too hungry or decide to order something else. The Brussels are fixed exactly like next door at Local Table and IYKYK (order them). If you decide to come as a large group on the weekend I recommend calling ahead of time as they offer live music and it can get busy. Service is always good but especially when Warren is behind the bar. Come as you are because there's nothing pretentious going on here. read more

We love this place, it is our go to spot for Friday HH! They have different deals each day of the week. We usually get a couple appetizers and I love the Froze All Day. The wings are huge and very flavorful. The only thing on the menu I didn't care for were the nachos. I like the tater tots, wings and hummus board the best. It gets busy after 5:30 on Fridays. Judd our server crushed it tonight while handling 11 tables inside the restaurant and outside. Kitchen was a bit off. We ordered the $10 pizza on happy hour. It came up a bit short from the kitchen with one pizza having no basil with onions when we requested no onions and basil. Sadly one pizza was not even cut. BUT-we will still come back! I was already a fan of Local Table, Local Bar has to be good right? Confirmed. Located right across from the Local Table, the Bar is a quite different atmosphere, TVs all around, music blaring through the speakers, and even live music on the Friday night we went. While smaller size than the actual restaurant across the cross-walk...you can order via the bar or have sit down service. There is no hostesses that I saw, so feel free to get an open table and flag down the nearest waiter. The menu isn't that big, but it definitely offered quite the selection for bar type food and an extensive amount of alcoholic beverages from beer and speciality cocktails. There were daily specials- my wife and I ordered a couple "infusion" type vodka cocktails-both really good. The food was excellent, my wife had the mushroom pizza and I, naturally, wept the 12 pc wings in siriracha and garlic parmesan--crispy, great chicken and sauces. No complaints. They open till 2am am Happy Hour all day Sunday! Will come back on a Sunday next time. read more

Went there tonight. Drinks were ice cold and the artichoke dip was boiling hot and delicious. I couldn't get over how horrible the bartenders were to the busboy. It truly turned us off and made us leave. I know now that the one girl is his sister, however the bar doesn't know that. All we see is you demanding him to do things and putting him down. The blonde assistant manager was the worst. There was no coaching, no leadership. Just belittling him in front of the guests. If he isn't cleaning the glasses perfectly, take him aside or in the back and show him. She just talked down to him. Finally the male bartender stepped him and showed the kid what's up. That is how you lead. Not sure if we will be back. Hate watching people get treated horribly when they are the reason you have clean glasses and refilled beer.
