This was our first time at Big City Wings although it's near our neighborhood. There are many TVs and we got to watch the Astros, which was great. One thing we noticed and loved-even my teenager mentioned it-it's that it was not loud, which we appreciated. Most sports bars are so loud that you can't even have a conversation at the table. In this case, we could see and hear the Astros game but it was loud enough to hear and not overpowering. The service was good. Friendly, and really everything you expect. Drinks were filled. The wait for our food wasn't long. The food was also good. We started with Tachos-which were Nacho tater tots. I liked them a lot and would get them again. My son ordered boneless wings with Garlic Parmesan. They were quite large-he didn't finish his order. My husband had the Al Pastor salad. He said the flavor was good-but he wished for more pork flavor and dressing that wasn't quite as thick. There were so many ingredients- Tongs come with the salad so you can toss it yourself. Descent food - Bad service Service - the person who answers phone does not know the wait time (it's someone in the back not hostess). We waited 20 minutes before wait staff came to our table - geez. Portions of our order were delivered to wrong table - we kept asking for the missing items, but nothing. Food - elote fries and onion rings a great. Wings are good. Overall - nice atmosphere - just seems like poor management - staff looked lost and unsure who had what table. So don't expect good service if you try this place. read more

For all the negative reviews. Please. Just...No. It was a bad day, an off kitchen, or something just went awry, OR the wrote the review during opening week. Every restaurant has growing pains and needs a break in period. A little grace. First. The service. A warm smile from the staff and management goes a long way. They are all happy and do not come across as just don't want to be there. So hats off to whoever trained them and their spirit of just having fun. This goes a long way with the customer. Its like a friend asking you to come for dinner...and then they promise not to disappoint. The food. Yes. I opted for the off-the-menu hottest sauce/spice rub you can get. And BOY did it deliver. Outstanding. Stick to the boneless wings. Thin, crispy breading. Also you can LITERALLY get one wing in every sauce. So. Service is not lacking. The ridiculously large Texas Draft beer. Rimmed with Tajin. I mean how can you go wrong!!! After downing the first...yes...don't judge me...I ordered the second as a Michelada boiler maker. So basically I ate wings and drank brunch in one sitting. This then was like having your cake and eating it to...while swimming in double cream...while getting a massage...and a one way ticket to being full for three days...Don't you dare judge me...At the end our waiter had the cojones if we wanted dessert...AKA more beer. The wife and I have eaten here several times and I brought a close bud from WisCAHsun to watch college foot ball and...well...EAT WINGS AND DRINK BEER. The fried pickles we tried were not just chips...OH NO. That was a whole dang SPEAR fired and pickled...half of it, de-breaded, ended up in my beer...maybe it was on purpose...maybe it wasn't. Love this place for the specials and atmosphere! The wings are good and we enjoyed the fried pickles as well. I enjoy sitting at the bar vs table due to service being more consistent. They have tons of tv's so it's a great place to watch a game. There is a patio outside but haven't gone out there yet. Check out the lunch specials during the week as well, definitely added as a go to spot for sports! read more

Just wanted to come back and say that my last three visits have been great! Ginger and Mercedes were both attentive and the bartender Mimi never lets my glass get empty. My last server Tiasha remembered me and made sure my to go order was bagged and hot for me when I was ready to leave. First and last time going to this place. I'd rather go to the one on Hwy 6. Our waiter was amazing, we had issues with the assistant manager Melanie. Extremely unprofessional and she should not have been left alone to manage the restaurant considering how rude she was. She stated that if she compensated our one meal that was late and incorrect, she would have to take it away completely from us. So she did just that. She then came back to the table with a post it note of phone numbers to the GM and the franchise owner, placed it in the middle of my hands and walked away. The size of the wing was good the way it was cooked was also good but I did not like any of their sauces! I tried four different flavors and none of them were good. I have been to Big City Wings on Tuckerton 2 times in the last 2 weeks. Each time I have been to eat there I have been very pleased with my choices. The first trip I had the boneless chicken strips with honey barbeque and teriyaki sauce. The strips were some of the best I have ever ate! The waffle sweet potato fries were sensational as well. Today I chose the Big City Wings Burger with grilled onions and cheddar for the lunch special. It was exceptional, and cooked just as I requested. My wife had the avocado chicken salad with the cilantro dressing and she was very impressed! The atmosphere and TV views from any seat make it easy to get what you want at a sports bar. Visited Big City Wings in Cypress TX today for lunch. We ordered Onion Rings which were crispy and had great flavor. We also had Garlic Parmesan and Honey Mustard wings. Our guest had a generous fried chicken sandwich. Wing portions were of good size and quality. For me better than many wing places. Our waitress/server Aaliyah did a great job with service and follow up during our time there. There was a generous supply of video displays to watch sports on. There were at least two displays that had to be 10ft x 6.5ft. A great place to meet and take in a game. read more

went to the new location in Cypress last night. service needs a lot of work. took forever to be waitems on. wings came out first, not very hot, two pieces of celery for 10 wings and only choice of sauce. ordered a burger came with no cheese no pickles no mustard wrong fries. instead of bringing a new burger, brought me a piece of cheese pickles mustard and new fries. burger was cold after waiting for items. we will try again and hopefully we will have a better experience. read more
