This gym is terrible gave me a deal to prepare a year and then moved to a smaller location where I can't do any of the same workouts. The new location is small and has no area to do abs or stretch. Don't join I moved to crunch and so did most of the other members. No tvs, super cramped, this place will go out of business soon. read more

I have been going to this gym for 6 months now and I absolutely love it. The people and workers are friendly and polite, and I always get a great work out in. I love that I can go in at any time and get my work out - and also that I can bring my daughter with me at certain hours! That makes my life as a single mom so much easier! I joined the gym for the January $1.00 special, with the first payment due in March. I was charged in February. Emailed the gym and the Owner, Bryan, said it was glitch in the system, but he would honor it and skip the March payment and pick-up in April. I was charged in March. Emailed Bryan, and he did refund me. However, he has never apologized for charging my card TWICE when it was not authorized. I am canceling my membership at the first opportunity, but this could have been avoided with better customer service. read more

worst gym ever. I'm actually pretty upset at this place for over charging to the most. They charge about 35$ for membership which i think is fine for regular gyms but this place has few machinery and not alot of options. The space provided and entire Scenery is pretty small and you can walk in and see all they have as soon as you walk thru the door. The staff that works there tries to get you in fast but do not explain much. apparently there was a contract i signed but didnt even know it was a contract because the Lady didn't even explain much. Just made me sign the paper and Didn't even explain the Pricing of how they do late fees? to my knowledge NOW (almost half a year later ) they not only bill 15$ late fee over the 35 monthly but also they have a credit card agency they work with that also bills 15$ so its really 30$ extra . this is something i would have liked to know and been explained in the begining when i chose to sign up so that way i would of said Hell no and left. but due to little to no explanation i am now stuck with 314$ in debt over them because they have been charging "late fees" although i cancelled months ago and all they told me was i had 2 months left and then no more billing but this is a scam and just unnaceptable for a small room with a couple of machines and Some weights. DO NOT come here . there is gyms down the street who offer atleast more space , machines, and good or better customer service than this . read more

The owner of the Gym is rude and has no place running a business. I posted a bad review at his other location and he was unprofessional in his reply and the canceled my membership. He refuses to address the air conditioning and broken equipment. All ways has an excuses and blames it on other people. Don't waste your money go to another gym. read more

The new owners have clean, updated equipment, and added plenty of new pieces. I tried the place as trying to find something closer to home and found it to be lacking. The equipment is very limited and old for what they charge. The day(s) we're warmer than usual and their solution was to open the doors, there was no AC and some fans running. I found the place to be dirty and again not near worth what they are charging. Lastly and I think I'll have to own some of this for not paying attention. I was under the impression I was trying the gym for three days for free. At the end of the month I received a bill for the entire month after ditching the place after just two visits. I of course contacted the gym where the person I worked with was nice and left it as he would talk to the owner. I ever heard anything back and they kept the $35. I'd say beware and as much as I hate planet fitness I went there, it's $10 a month, more equipment, clean and thr AC works. read more

Worst gym daycare ever even when it comes to employees. They are treated bad. Checks are bouncing. Mold is growing in the child care area stuff is not being sanitized right. So I was fired for reporting to the owner brain a kids behavior witch was his trainers kids. He did nothing about it but fired me cause Me and his trainer Brooke had a conversation off work hours not even at the work building and I asked her if her daughter was seeing a therapist because she seems really mad at the world. at this point we are talking as friends. Well she took it personally ok fine but you can't fire someone over that and not fire the other person for the child's behavior. The problem I reported wasn't even solved and there's a little girl that is always in there throwing toys with other baby's around and I'm not talking one or two toys like the hole bucket goes flying there's no calming her down. She will scream that your stupid and she was telling me her mommy doesn't love her now she's only 4. I'm a mom of 5 and I've been taking care of military family kids for almost 10 years. as well as family member and my own I know that behavior is not normal. Instead of the owner Brian doing the right thing and reporting it he fired me and pushed it under the rug. Not only that kids were being brought in with pink eye and other sickness and because once's again it was his trainers kids nothing was being done. I was only there for 3 months but was informed by others who worked there that it has been happening for a while. read more

I was recently on the hunt for a new gym in the area and came across The Local Gym. I'm an avid weight lifter so I was excited about the gym being so close to home and the equipment they provided. But, after two months I discontinued my membership due the unprofessional owner. I am veteran with a disabled veteran tag on my vehicle. I tend to park in the handicap parking spots when they're not filled. I scanned my card and entered the gym, but was not greeted with a "hello" like most professional organizations. But was greeted with an unwarranted statement of, " I have cop buddies that workout here, and they would have something to say to you if they see you parked there." Not only did he make this bold fact less allegation of me illegally parking in the handicap spot, but he also was engaging about this situation with a random member standing at the desk. Which further showed how unprofessional he is. After he finished talking with the random guy at the desk. I asked him, "Why would your cop buddies have something to say? I'm a veteran and have a disabled veterans tag." Instead of him simply saying sorry or my apologies. He continued on stating, " Well I can't see your tags." Which further confused me about his statement and allegation because he was absolutely right! He couldn't see my tag. I did not back into the parking space and he was sitting at a desk with his back towards the parking lot. He would literally have to get up, walk around the desk, walk out the gym and then walk around my vehicle to see any ones tag. Which he never did. He just made an unjustified assumption and a threat of his "police buddies" involvement. Needless to say, I let go and headed towards the locker room. But, as I headed towards the locker room I could hear him continuing to discuss the situation with that same random member at desk even after I told him about my veteran tags. This made me feel more confused, infuriated and somewhat embarrassed what has transpired. I then decided I will not pay my hard earned money to an establishment who lacks professionalism, discriminates and does not value it's veterans or paying customer. read more
