VERY impressed with this laundry mat. I just moved and don't have a washer & dryer yet so I decided to come to this laundry mat per reviews in yelp. I am SO glad I came. Great experience. Washers washed my clothes great! 4 different wash size machines that you can choose from, and all the dryers are all huge for 25 cents for 5-7 minutes. It's clean & well kept in here. Has a TV, some comfortable mint chairs (only three though) wish it was a little more bigger but doesn't matter much as this was good enough space for me & the other 5 people in here washing to get the job done. I have been going to this laundromat for a while. I started using laundry bags for my delicate clothing. It was my first time using these so it was taking me a while to figure out how to manage my laundry apparently the people don't like me and don't want me there and they decided they would turn off the air-conditioning while I was still there doing my laundry it was hot very hot. I was sweating and also lethargic from the heat so it took me even longer to get my laundry done. A couple of guys came in and we started talking and I told him they didn't like me the didn't like me off the air conditioning on me. They agreed that there was no air-conditioning on. just as we were talking about it the air conditioner was turned on and the guyswent back out to their car and waited there. as soon as the guys left, the air conditioner was shut off again so due to this, I was lethargic as I said and I forgot a whole load of my laundry, the laundry with all my socks in it so I called the number that they give and they never responded to me call me back or anything so I lost a whole load of laundry with nice clothes in I don't recommend this Laundry Mat. I told them that I was disappointed about what they did to me and that I was gonna leave a review if they didn't get back to me about my clothes within 48 hours well it's been a couple and I need to get my laundry done and I'm trying to find a new but I think I'll just go back to this one just to off! To the best of my knowledge this laundromat is the only game in town and this was my first visit to this business, I did look up reviews prior to going which were not very good, but decided to see for myself, unfortunately I found poor reviews true. 1. It is a laundromat and appeared slightly older,it was not bright and shiny but as laundromats go it was not exceptionally dirty. (Issue previously noted). 2. I was there mid morning and there were other customers but still several machines open, however of those you quickly find machines that are not working either out of order or the card reader not working of course after you have loaded and are ready to go. So I highly recommend you bring coin! (Issue previously noted). 3. There was an attendant there with a small child as I arrived, who was riding on a small toy, do not get me wrong I love children and I understand it can be difficult to work when you have them.. however this is happening as you step in to the laundry mat carrying your laundry.. trying to negotiate a small child riding on toy in a small space..this could be a recipe for disaster especially having a large retirement community. The young attendant/owner? apparently working must have been done for the day as I worked my way to a washer she collected the child, locked the office door and left. So my impression is there is no attendant available during working hours. 4. Once I found washing machines that worked and waited for cycle, several more people had arrived, since the card reader problem extended to dryers too this left a bottle neck of customers trying to find a machine that would work..very frustrating! To the owner(s): My advice as a customer, (I had a family member who once owned a laundry mat in the Bay Area) this does not make me an expert but did give me some insight into the ups and downs of this type of business). I highly recommend that you have an attendant during business hours for several reasons, Laundromats are large investments and having a presence helps protect your investment! And your customers as well! Unfortunately in today's society you will find many in the public could care less about your investment, it appears that you do not either.. Having an attendant available that customers can approach to help resolve issues like the card reader taking your money but the machine not working builds trust and confidence with customers as well as protects your investment from vandalism/ damage. This also allows you to keep your mat clean (No one wants to wash their clothes in a dirty surroundings. As an owner this type of business (and most businesses) they do not work well as "set it and forget it", as with any business you have to put time and care in, and set aside part of the business earnings for upkeep of equipment. Given that the machines and card readers are a longstanding issue.. I have to assume you do not, as for card readers you might also post a sign on the door that card readers are not working and give customers a heads up to bring coin. before they are trapped in your laundry with wet clothes.. as I found I was able to get 2 dollars from the store next door .. as they have experienced this repeatedly, that is their limit. Laundry mats are not glorious..yet they are a needed business in any community some rely on them wholly, some need them for the large items you can not wash in home machines, at some point almost everyone will use a laundromat. With a little effort this could be a very nice laundromat that the community could depend on and not dread having to use.. right now I expect that it won't last long in the condition it's in.. It takes work and initiative to keep one running smoothly, you should put in the effort.. as I assume this is your livelihood! 2 stars as I did get my laundry done, but barely! read more

However the last two or three times I've been to The Local Laundromat. . .I've had issues with the machines such as the error in authorizing anyones credit card.... Error flashing red letters stating a error "NETWORK DOWN" message! The GPS shows this as Paradise. It's Local and the machines are the same though fewer of them. The machine taps do not work but the slide does on most machines. Some machines are inoperative. It's clean including the restroom which is coded. read more

24 hours is amazing for a nightshift worker like myself! I appreciate being able to do things on my time. I also like that you pay based on the temperature of the water. If I want to use cold water, I'm not paying as much as if I used hot wate, brilliant! They have a giant washer that is great for all of my linens! i've been going here for a few years and it's perfect. read more

Quick in and out. The other customers were mostly friendly. The prices are decent and they actually lower them if you wash with cold water which I do. They need better air conditioning for the place. Oh, the tap pay wasn't working but the card sliders were fine. However the laundry soap is coins only so either bring your own or you will have to go to the 7-11 next door to get soap. No hypoallergenic soap options at either location. read more

Our washer decided to flood our laundry room so we had to do a few loads here. It is in a convenient location next to a 7-11 and a couple restaurants so you have somewhere to go and get some food. The inside is clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean and smelled nice too. The space is somewhat small so it limits the number of machines and seating. I didn't have to wait for a machine, but I could see it happening when it's busier. My only complaint is the amount of seating. There are literally 3 seats and 75% of the customers I saw were on the older side. They could add some stools and tuck them under the counters to save space. Overall, this is a great option for a laundromat and I would come here again if I needed to. read more

Great little place! My momma lives around the corner and had a few loads of laundry to do....like 10, lol! So we drove here. You've really got to catch this laundry mat at the right time, and that we did. She was able to get a few of the large washers,which hold anywhere from 6-10 loads of laundry. She used the ones that held 6,since you gotta wash darks with darks and so on... these were $6.25 for each wash. The wash was going to take 20 minutes. There is a really great Mexican Market with in walking distance, so we went there & back. When using the dryer, it was quite a bit cheaper. $.25 to dry for 15 minutes, and if you put in extra quarters, it's gets your clothes really dry. I haven't been in a laundry mat since I was really young,but compared to memories, this was a really nice & clean laundry mat. There was a counter in the front and back for folding & organizing. Laundry carts to help get your laundry around easier, and a TV to help keep you entertained. As we were pulling her clothes out of the dryer, a few ladies came in with begs and bags full of laundry. Hello community! Back again with my second review of the Paradise Laundry chain.So I've been to Paradise on Ascot twice! So far that is my favorite location. See the Ascot review for details. Short review: Clean, friendly people, convenient, and fast washers/dryers. Detailed review: I decided to try Paradise Laundry @ Roseville West (Cirby Way). Very intimate and prime location (near Amazon locker, nail salon, 7-11, and a bunch of other convenient places. I've been here a few times. Each time I've gone it was busy but not full. Which is great, that means people like using the facility. It is small (only two giant washers) and the other range of front load washer sizes is great. I love the fact the soap loader is on the front of the machine, as I am not very tall. The facility has been clean each time I've gone, despite the fact that more people frequent this location. This location is open 24hrs. The locals that frequent Paradise West are friendly. My favorite part is how fast the washers get clothes clean. I was in and out in about an hour; including dry time. Which is always a plus in my book. Oddly, I dislike doing laundry unless it's at a laundromat in larger machines. Makes my life so much easier and saves time. If your goal has been to open a laundromat, this would be the ideal size of a starting point. Thank you Paradise Laundry! The location is a bit interesting but inside the laundry was fine. There are plenty of machines and many ways to pay including Applepay which was awesome. The cheapest way is always cash and there is a coin machine if you need it. They have many sizes of machines and I learned that you can put more in them that you think. Most of my issues were because I haven't been to a laundry for 15 years but I needed to do comforters, pillows, blankets etc so this was the place. There is only a few places to sit but once your wash is going it is locked in so you can make a trip to the 7-11 around the corner for a snack or some coffee. read more

Came in on a weekday afternoon and the place was all but empty. The machines were all very new, very clean and worked great. The prices were good. The have 4 sizes of machines. Double load, triple load, quadruple load and humongous industrial sized. You could do many loads at once or wash pretty much anything in the big one. The washers and dryers were rather quick. The regular hours are until midnight but you can stay later. The door automatically locks at 12 so people can't come in but you can still get out. There's a code that you can get to come in after midnight. You just have to request it. One thing that's different here from other laundry facilities is that it costs a little more per load for warm/hot vs. cold. Still a good deal. An important note. They do take credit cards here. If you pay with a card you pay the price for hot no matter what temperature you choose so you could save a little $ by using cash. I used cash for most of the laundry I did and my card for 1 load. I was charged correctly. Not a lot of seating. Free WiFi. You do need a code to get into the restroom but you can find it on their website or call for it. Small tv. They do have powdered tide and dryer sheets for sale but they're very over-priced. You definitely want to bring your own. read more

We use this little place for washing our comforters and anything larger than what we want to use in our machines at home. Clean and close to home. Newly remodeled about a year ago. Privately owned and operated and a flat screen television that works. Dryers and washers are new and work without having to spend a fortune drying your bedding. Right next door to a thrift store and a great little breakfast and lunch restaurant. What more could you want when you are waiting for your bedding? read more

I needed to make a late night run to a laundromat. A quick check of Yelp revealed that this place was the closest laundry that was open late. They are open after midnight but you need an access code. There were instructions posted outside the door on how to get it. This is a fairly small laundromat. Due to the space constraints they have a limited number of high capacity (60 & 90 lb washers) here. I was hoping to grab one of the 60 lb washers but somebody just barely beat me to it. I was able to use two of the 30 lb washers and although it cost me a bit more than if I used the 60 lb machine, they got the job done. The dryers are huge and more than met my needs. You can pay with credit card, which was very helpful for me. The only challenge I had with that was that there was no way to purchase additional time on the dryer when paying with a card. It looks like you get the minimum of 25 minutes and then you run it again if you need more time. I think I saw an option to add time or features with the washer but I am not sure. They have free wi-fi here and 7-Eleven is next door if you want to grab a quick snack. The place is pretty clean and it's a decent neighborhood - very safe. read more

Prices and instructions were right in your face, so you never got confused. Thanks! 90LB, 60LB, 30LB, and 15LB washers all down a straight line. Across were medium & extra large dryers. 90LB Costs: $8.50 - Cold, $9.00 - Warm, & $9.50 Hot 50LB Costs: $6.25 - Cold, $6.50 - Warm, & $7.00 Hot 30LB Costs: $3.00 - Cold, $3.50 - Warm, & $4.00 Hot 15LB Costs: $2.00 - Cold, $2.50 - Warm, & $3.00 Hot. Honestly, I probably wouldn't return unless it's in the wee hours of the night, but I would recommend! & would go to their Sunrise location which is closer to me. Btw, hours are 7:00AM - 12:00AM. After hours, you would have to call their phone number- speak to the automatic voice message & get their door code for after hours laundry. 4 Stars instead of 5, because seriously had no where to sit. 3 chairs, so I sat on the folding table in the corner, lol. read more

Not a lot of seating but parking is close enough you can chill in your vehicle. Went to use the big industrial washers it was $9 a load if you use cold water it's more to use hot. read more

Showed up early because it said it accommodates all hours. There was another client already there. She proceeded to exit as quickly as possible as I was unloading my own. This elderly hag was not scared or anything like that, she was rude and couldn't wait to suck down her cigarette. We even had a quick talk where she told me all I had to do was fallow the steps posted. I did multiple times for far too long without any reply. I waited until normal opening hours and started my laundry, still not a word from the app I downloaded, text message, or calls with voicemail. Was upset but thought to let it go until I tried to use the restroom, same insane system, same multiple calls no answer, no reply, until on my third attempt at text messaging them somebody writes "good morning " then the code. So I decided to write my second review of all time and first negative review. I'm a night owl by nature & was having a week of crazy work & school hours. I really couldn't be bothered to do my laundry at a local laundromat, everything is last load in by 8 or 830 and I hadn't even sorted out my clothes yet! Found this place online, and was pleasantly surprised at how clean & well-kept this facility is, was totally worth the drive for me to come here this once. Would I come again? Only if I was in a real bind (again)... but if I lived closer I'd probably come all the time =) Please open a 24 hour location in Woodland or Davis, you'd have one loyal customer at least! read more

Wifi password doesnt work! Might just be at this location since the one in Citrus Heights worked fine. I dont know anyone who enjoys trips to the laundry mat but if you must go this is the place has you covered from Large Capacity to Standard Capacity machines. The best part for those of us who dont carry cash and can't find tons of quarters they have debit/credit prepay machines for the washers and dryers. We had to wash our king comforter and it doesnt fit in our standard washer at home so we have to go to the laundry mat to use the medium capacity front loader. It was so easy and the dryers work great for a smaller location there were plenty of machines available. read more

My first time here. It was clean and well lit. Good selection of large capacity washers and dryers. A bathroom for customers with a numeric lock that was being monopolized between 3 individuals so I was grateful I didn't have to go. There were various customers that were of all ages and skin colors which made me feel at ease, as it appeared to be a neighborhood establishment. I like that the doors were unlocked til midnight because I'm a nightowl. Other customers were friendly and there was a 7/11 in the same strip mall where you can get snacks and beverages. There's also a Country coffee shop that serves breakfast and lunch right next door. It was about $6.50 to wash my two large loads and another $4.00 to dry everything (the laundry room at my condo runs about $4.00 per load and you can only do one load at a time so altho it wasn't cheaper, the convenience was worth it. read more

This is a 24 hour laundromat, after midnight u have to call and listen to the recording for the door code. They also inform u that ur photo is taken as well. If u have nothing to hide, then it's no problem. All in all it's a good experience, fairly new and kept clean. read more

In spite of a bit of inconvenience/bad timing, I'm giving this five stars because first of all IT'S THERE when you need it, and second because the owner very promptly and very graciously answered a Yelp message I sent inquiring about safety during the wee hours. She assured me there are multiple cameras both inside and outside the business, and that it's in a small business center that includes a 7-11. The facilities were very clean, and I was there around midnight on a weekday, when the cleaning crew happened to be there, as well. After midnight, you need to call the number posted at the door and she will give you an entry code, which you can use repeatedly if you, like me, go out and sit in your car while your washing and drying is getting done. The inconvenience/bad timing came via being there when three other customers were there, so all the regular-sized machines were in use. That left only the $6.50/load large washers, which was about 1/2 a washer more than I needed, so $3 more than I wanted to pay, but ah well, better than rescheduling and taking the same chance next time, I figured. One of the regular washers was out of order, or I would have used that. They also have a few teenie-weenie washers for $2.25/load, which was interesting. Seating is extremely limited (just three chairs tucked at the front, if I recall, although there may have been others at the very back, I forgot to check). Regarding safety: For the most part it felt fine, although there are homeless in the area, who wander past the business periodically. I stayed out in my car watching Netflix as my washing and drying happened, but was never approached nor did I feel unsafe in this particular case. I would advise anyone to just stay very aware while they're there, whether you're going in, or coming out, so that those who don't belong inside doing laundry can't slip inside at the same time as you do. People inside were helpful to others, though, opening the door to people with their arms full, so again, if you're going to be there in the middle of the night, just keep your eyes open to who's coming in. I'll definitely use this business again, but will always aim for earlier hours, or when the cleaning crew is going to be there, just for that sense of security if I'm in there alone. read more

Excellent facility. A little pricey but the machines make worth it cause theyre all new. More high tech than some facility with cctv, cable tv, radio, wifi and after hour key pad. Owner's business story on the wall which is very inspiring. I gave it four stars out of five because its pricier than most places by $0.50. read more
