So so good! Great menu. Huge selection of beers. Eclectic menu. My mind is blown that you can make any burger a smash burger. Awesome service. Plenty of parking. Cute inside. Warm and friendly. I believe they do karaoke and often have live music. We can't wait to come back! The burgers were delicious!

We usually get this as "take-out". It's delicious, but requires many napkins.

Convenient location off Rt 89. Great burger, cole slaw and fries. Can't go wrong with this American classic. Worth the stop!

I had the halibut and salad, which were delicious and both made great use of locally grown blueberries. The kids didn't appreciate the pasta with butter and cheese having homemade pasta; they didn't like that it was a more difficult shape to eat than a standard penne-like pasta. But I tried it and thought it was unusually delicious for that standard kid dish. And very reasonably priced, too. Several menu items I didn't get to try sounded great, too. Sorry that I won't have a chance to go back on our trip.

I like the place and the food is not great but it is usually at least okay. But the meal starts off with a bad taste when they charge for bread which is FREE almost everywhere else. And there's nothing special about the bread! Come on Skunk Hollow, you are treating customers like airlines do! Will you have to pay to use the toilets soon? How about charging for use of the forks and knives? You take advantage of the fact that people are most hungry when they arrive and more likely to give in to your unforgivable greed. I know others who don't want to go there just because of the obscene BREAD CHARGES! It's insulting

Onions Pub & Restaurant turned out to be one of those places that makes you glad you trusted the reviews. Housed in the historic Tilton Inn, the restaurant has plenty of character before you even open the menu. We chose the pub side, which has a fun, relaxed atmosphere and felt like exactly the right place to kick off the evening. We started by sharing the French onion soup, and I'm glad we did. It was outstanding and easily one of the better versions I've had in quite some time. My partner ordered one of the entrée salads, which looked fresh, generous, and every bit as satisfying as my fish and chips. I paired the fish and chips with a Smithwick's Irish Red Ale. The fish was crisp, flaky, and satisfying--the kind of pub meal that's hard to improve on. The service added just as much to the experience as the food. Our waitress was also tending bar and happily shared the story behind both the historic inn and the restaurant's unusual name. As we learned, "Onion" is actually an affectionate nickname for Bermudians, a nod to the island's once-famous onion exports. Since the owner is half Bermudan, the name fits perfectly. She was one part bartender, one part server, and one part docent, and it made the whole experience that much more enjoyable. Onions is a little quirky in all the right ways, with good food, welcoming people, and a setting that feels like it has stories to tell. If you're in the area--whether you're heading to a concert or just passing by on I-93--it's well worth the stop. Five stars.
