On a Tuesday evening, your choices for food are limited but several locals recommended Benson's for…read morepizza. We had 10 people. We ordered 3 large pizzas and had so much left over. The crust was really good. We had both regular and thin crust. The amount of cheese on each pizza was out of this world Our server took our orders quickly. The pizzas took a little time to come out but it was worth it. The inside was busy but not crowded. There is a dog friendly patio but it was cool out so we didn't sit there. Parking was no problem because the downtown had already rolled up their sidewalks (ha ha). Over the years we haven't had very good luck with places to eat in walker. We will be back to Bensons to try some of their fare. Try it!

Omg! We came in hungry and my husband and I couldn't decide on what size pizza to order. There are…read moresizes displayed on the wall and they honestly look like small, medium, and large. We can typically split a large (4 slices each) when hungry and the price point wasn't too bad for a lake town. Welllll the 18-inch was giant and we only ate half- be warned that the 14 inch was perfect for 2 hungry people, and the 18 inch would definitely feed 4 at least! Pros: pizza was pretty fast and yummy (especially after a day at the lake and driving up north), service was friendly, the boat table we sat at was neat. Cons: it took a while to be seated due to some confusion/ some parties waiting for their checks, it was very hot in the restaurant, bathrooms were pretty dirty (hair in the sink, trash overflowing, and no paper towel), and the pizza flavor was just meh. We ordered a pizza with pineapple, jalapeño, and buffalo chicken but the pineapple tasted canned and the chicken wasn't saucy and flavored. It hit the spot but wasn't anything to write home about. Would have been better with a drizzle of ranch or barbecue.

We both ordered burgers, one we topped with cheddar, fried onions, and green olives, the other was topped with pepper jack, bacon, fried onions, and mushrooms. Both were very good! We've decided you must have bacon on the burger. We also ordered onion rings with one of the burgers, and those were good - crispy and warm. Our server was friendly, and when we got our check, another server (the owner's mother) asked how our food was. She found out that it was our anniversary, and she brought us out a dessert. It was really sweet!

The food was great; walleye strips and a grilled chicken breast with veggies. My husband is trying to stick to a "heart healthy" diet and the server, Mike, was so accommodating in helping him put together the perfect meal. (The server was also the bartender and owner, nice guy). Jackie also served us and she was super nice and efficient as well. We also had the soup and salad bar which was very tasty and fresh ingredients. We will definitely be back

OUTSTANDING FOOD, SERVICE, AMBIANCE AND NEW MANAGERS! We have been dining here for years. We had…read moreour rehearsal dinner at the 502 years ago because we love the Chase On The Lake so much. Over the years the food quality and cleanliness left a lot to be desired. We were thrilled to find out new ownership had taken over a place that was near and dear to our hearts. I flew in from Texas this afternoon and this was the first place I wanted to eat. The Facebook pictures weren't wrong.... the food looks delicious and was even better than it looked. The restaurant was cleaner than we have seen in a decade!! This is 4th of July weekend and the place is packed! We waited 45 minutes for a table of 9 to eat inside. They made us feel welcomed without rushing us. The servers are all new, smiling and know the menu well! The new manager came in and greeted friends old and new. The manager working the line was all smiles which is rare. Amanda the bartender made a mean cocktail. The Alfredo sauce is nothing to bat an eye at.... homemade and the real deal! Walleye is fresh from lower Red Lake and gone is the nasty old pecan crusted greasy fish. The tarter sauce is homemade and could've been eaten with bread! Skip the expensive fish at Boulders and save your money with this. I did the walleye sandwich sans bun. The cheese curds were so good we ordered 2 more baskets! We will make sure we come a few more times before we leave town.

Let's begin with the level of service - it is really poor. Staff untrained and unconcerned with…read moreguest experience. Not that busy but really slow. Not as clean as one would hope for. Food not anything special
