Only after some back and forth did she reluctantly add it, but not before making a rather unprofessional comment: "This is the last time we are going to add on to your order." To be clear, we were not asking for anything unreasonable--just the basic flexibility and courtesy that should accompany any customer service interaction. We left feeling as though we were treated as an inconvenience rather than paying guests. While I understand the demands of fast food service, professionalism, respect, and a willingness to help should not be optional--regardless of the position held. If this individual were representing my business, I would be deeply concerned about the impression being left with customers.
