In 2 days of being there, I found a roach in my 2 year olds crib (while she was sleeping in it). Another one in my closet. The toilet was broken and wouldn't stop running. The whole apartment reeked of weed. I tried to air it out, light candles, spray room sprays.. nothing worked. The smell was in the vents. No getting away from it. There were so many issues, I can't even list them all. I complained about these issues and nothing was done to fix these issues. They told me a pest guy would come spray the apartment but no one showed and then they told me I had to wait a week for him to come back as he only comes on Thursday. The apartment was so awful, my daughter and I had to leave. I wasnt going to have her be in an apartment with roaches. Because I wanted to break my lease due to the conditions of the apartment and lack of effort to fix the issues, they're now trying to charge me $5k to break the lease when I was in the apartment for a total of 3 days which has now led to a lawsuit. They definitely screwed me over and I DO NOT recommend this place.

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. The biggest issue was the constant noise. Our neighbors were frequently fighting, slamming doors, and being disruptive at all hours. We reported this to the leasing office multiple times, but nothing was done beyond basic warnings, and the behavior never improved. Maintenance was also very frustrating to deal with. Requests would be submitted, but there was little to no communication about when someone would come or what the status was. Most of the time, you wouldn't hear anything until the day they showed up, which made it hard to plan around. The cleanliness of the property was another major problem. There was often pet waste left around the buildings, and the dog park was especially bad. Trash in that area wasn't consistently taken out, leading to strong, unpleasant odors. I also had a very concerning experience involving someone connected to the leasing manager, Esther. After our car was hit, we found out the person responsible did not have insurance and still attempted to shift the blame onto us, which added a lot of unnecessary stress. Lastly, don't expect to get your full deposit back. We were charged for cleaning and carpet fees regardless, which felt excessive. Overall, while the view was nice, the ongoing issues with noise, maintenance, cleanliness, and management made this a disappointing place to live. I would not recommend it.

Maybe this place used to be different but…read morefrom my perspective this place is wonderful it is clean, well kept and the maintenance team is great!!! They get it done.... I moved my sister here 2 months ago and we have found it very comfortable. The train took a min to get used to but now we are and it's no big deal. The apartment is very spacious it was put together seamlessly, walls were painted properly (no paint spots everywhere) new carpet, appliances were new (or at least looked so) and the entire grounds are beautifully maintained. It is quite in regard to no loud music from disrespectful cars. No loud people being obnoxious. No screaming children. I haven't seen any homeless yet (hope I don't) and will address it if it happens, but honestly it's a great place all around. I feel my sister is and will be safe living here which was my goal. The people I've met are all happy and very nice. They welcomed us openly, one lady even gave us sheets our first night here. We couldn't find anything! Who does that. Nice people do. Anyway, I wanted to leave my review because I do think things can change if the right people are listening. Please keep up the good work at keeping us all safe from the homeless. I've been here almost a year now, so I think I have a pretty good grasp on the community and how…read morethings work here. I loved it when I first moved in, Lisa was absolutely amazing (and still is) and she truly deserves so much credit for the kindness and happiness she spreads among the complex. While I only met Patrick briefly- he was also very kind and helpful! The pool was open 24 hours, same with the gym- which I loved as I'm a night owl. The complex was beautiful and the apartments are sleek. I loved the valet trash as well- especially living on floor 3! Now, my experience living here after a year is a bit different. I'll touch on some pros and cons (some pros and cons will be the same but with different reasons listed). Pros: -Quiet neighborhood, very little noise except from pool area on Fri/Sat nights (I live right by the pool and closing my doors and windows usually keeps the sound out) -Close to highway, gas stations, and stores -Neighbors are usually kind, although they don't speak to you much- I've only had one neighbor treat me negatively and they've since moved out -Apartments are beautiful and well made. Not cheap. Nothings broken so far! -Lisa is still amazing ! -Very pet friendly and I'm a veterinarian assistant so I appreciate that. While I only have a cat- there's many amenities for dogs available at this complex. -Management and staff don't tend to "bother" you very much. I've had landlords that were super overbearing so this was nice. -Lots of fun things to do within the complex. Golf, dog park, ping pong, table soccer, etc. -Gated -Great prices (although I am from an extremely expensive state)- but for the quality of these apartments I feel the rent is perfect. Cons: -Police are here frequently. I'm talking once every three weeks to a month. If it's not police, it's fire trucks/EMT's (which are usually here weekly). I'm not really sure what could be going on for emergency services to be here so often. -I received a notice to evict letter (on my birthday lol), because I hadn't paid my rent 6 days into the month. They didn't end up evicting me as I paid it immediately- but it did shock me a bit. I've never paid rent late before and I thought the eviction notice was a bit much. They could have called or asked me to speak to them in the office or even said something to me in person before immediately threatening to evict me on my birthday. I didn't even realize I hadn't paid yet. -Complex smells like weed at night. As a fellow weed smoker, I get it's annoying to leave the complex to smoke, but also as someone with kids and basic respect for others- it's not that hard to walk a block or two away to smoke. -Amazon packages go missing. I've lost hundreds of dollars worth of Amazon packages that have gone missing or were delivered to the wrong locker. This isn't the fault of the complex- but it is super annoying and inconvenient. I've also had neighbors packages delivered to me on 4 different occasions- both of which lived across the entire complex. -While valet trash is nice, I often find my trash cans knocked over carelessly after they come. -Lots of trash littered around the complex. Again, this isn't the fault of the property- it's the residents job to keep their community clean. -Pool is rarely open anymore. And I don't believe it's open after hours anymore. -Gym lacks machinery and some machines have been broken a few times. The gym also has fully glass walls so everyone can see you working out. While I'm still deciding whether or not to renew my lease another year, I've overall had a good experience here. I've managed to move my friend into an apartment unit with Acero on Roosevelt as well and he seems to like it here.
