When we arrived we walked in and spoke with the friendly hostess. She informed us that our order was still being worked on so we waited in the restaurant. The restaurant is very spacious with plenty of seating. There was a bathroom upstairs and downstairs. The bathroom downstairs was small and clean. We got our food after waiting for about 10 minutes. It was worth the wait. The food was really good. I ordered a hamburger with onion rings and an extra side of fries. The burger was filling and tasty. The onion rings had a crispy exterior and the onions were sweet. They tasted yummy with ketchup but you could easily eat them without ketchup. The fries were good. They were thick, with seasoning, and a crispy exterior. I was surprised by the flavor. You could easily eat the fries without ketchup as well. Overall Eagles Landing Restaurant was a great place to grab some food. The online ordering process was easy, the service was friendly, and the food was really good.

I added a little s as lt and pepper on mine. My wife said hers was fine. Their onion rings are fantastic. Not overcooked. Great taste. You get a bunch for appetizer. We shared a piece of pecan pie. Yum. It was gooood! Our waiter Phillip was great. He was on top of getting our appetizer out before our meal which is always nice. And he kept checking on us but not bugging us. The restaurant is clean. A little smaller than I thought. There was a large group when we got there so not too many empty tables. There is also outdoor seating. We will be back.

I spent an hour today with Andrew & Theresa, Dining Service VIPs, who gave me a tour and a lot of information. Eagle Landing is strategically located across the street from UNT's new visitors center. It's $8.20 + tax at the door, anyone can eat there, all-you-can-to-eat. Students can use their Meal Plan just like the other dining halls. There was a steady flow of students who were loving every minute of this adventure. I was told that it's been so popular that it's common for a line to start at the door and wrap around the block. This is a food-hall style setting, meaning you visit any station you want, find a place to sit, stay as long as you like. There are 7 restaurants: WOOD GRILL (opening soon). Food cooked over a wood grill. AVENUE A (open) is homestyle favorites like fried chicken, mac & cheese, smoked BBQ, plus breakfast all day. LEAF (open) is plant-based featuring greens grown at Mean Green Acres, a non-GMO hydroponic garden, as well as fresh veggies, salads, soups, and plenty of 100% plant-based options. La Mesa (open) is a Latin fusion like street tacos, burritos, and tortillas made from scratch. BAMBOO (opening soon) Asian-inspired wok plus stir-fried rice & noodle dishes. CLARK BAKERY (open) is exactly what it sounds like! Yes, fresh pastries, warm cookies, cobblers, in-house homemade ice cream (shakes too!) and more. CIBO FRESCO (open) serving pizza, calzones, stromboli, and a daily pasta toss. I did notice that there is more space available for more restaurants, nice! This two story building offers numerous seating spaces. There are tables, booths, bar tops, and benches. There are quaint quiet areas, as well as, wide-open, European style seating. Social distancing is in place and enforced (notice the green ribbons).

My downstairs neighbors had a fire around the 2nd week in January and my unit was damaged because of it (pictures attached). We are now going into May and they have still not repaired my unit. I have reached out to the office staff all the way up to the VP of the property management company (Trinity Multi Family) and my issue still hasn't been resolved. These people have no sense of urgency when it comes to repairs but are quick to send out two emails a month as reminders to pay your rent before it's even due. Not to mention if they have still yet to fix the water/ hot water issue they have been having since Oct 2020. They have inconvenienced their residents over 13 times ( these are the ones I have via email from the office). But trust it has been many times in between that the water was out without notice from the office.

Carpet and Vinyl flooring needs replacing, appliances are used not new, the blinds are each window needs replacing (they're the cheap ones that cost $20 each). If we receive any "upgrades" they will have to charge us $200 more of rent. Don't even get started on payments, work orders, and needing pest control, etc... The app we used is just to pay rent, Not to submit maintenance request that we need. We have to go out about our day and email them for every thing we need to come look at or come to fix. Lack of proper software applications. We started to see roaches here and there more frequently, I emailed them about it. Told me they'll come the next available day, it's been a month!! Our server, Ashlie was very prompt and friendly, especially catering to the elderly members of our table (and our grad, of course!). Her recommendations of the thyme lemon drop and a wine pairing for my porkchop were wonderful! Also, if you're teetering on grabbing the smorgasbord -- DO IT! It was AWESOME! We also got a lovely visit from a manager, Reigan. She spoiled us with a free dessert for our celebration! But what she really did that was above and beyond was after we left the restaurant. We got home and realized one of our boxed items was left on the table. We called to see if we could still grab it and Reigan not only gave us a fresh side of brussel sprouts but even a free corn brûlée because we were raving about it so much! We will absolutely be visiting again!!

Date night at Perry's last night!…read more First things first: Perry's is gorgeous. Modern, upscale, and elegant without making you feel like you're about to be judged for holding your fork wrong. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Unfortunately, our first dinner companion was...a fly. I know this is Texas and flies don't exactly RSVP, but this one seemed determined to experience fine dining right alongside us. Eventually it either found another table or met its untimely demise. Either way, peace was restored. The manager stopped by within the first 20 minutes to check on us (his visit was unrelated to the fly), which was appreciated. Our server was prompt, friendly, and had excellent timing throughout the meal. The only miss? She gave us the speed-run version of the menu and never mentioned any of Perry's signature dishes. She didn't realize it was our first visit until we were paying the check, which explains why we unknowingly skipped what they're apparently famous for. The warm bread arrived early with butter so soft it practically spread itself. Dangerously good. We split the Caesar salad, and honestly, it may have been my favorite part of the meal. Lightly dressed with house-made croutons and seasoned sunflower seeds, every bite had crunchy, citrusy, salty/spicy goodness that somehow all worked together beautifully. For our entrees, my husband ordered the cedar plank-fired redfish, and I went with the special Beef Wellington. We both had the exact same thought after a few bites: the seasoning was winning the battle...against everything else. We love bold seasoning, but it felt like all the flavors were competing for attention instead of letting what seemed to be beautiful cuts of fish and beef shine. The loaded mashed potatoes, however? Zero notes. Cheesy, whipped, buttery perfection. Dessert was the chocolate chip bread pudding with homemade toasted marshmallow, and this is where things really surprised us--in the wrong direction. It somehow managed to be bread pudding...without much flavor. I didn't think that was possible, but here we are. Completely underwhelmed. To wash down our dessert disappointment, we ended the night with the Salted Caramel Espresso Martini. And honestly? It almost redeemed everything. It tasted like the most decadent chocolate milk you've ever had--with just enough espresso to make it feel classy. This drink is dangerous in all the best ways because it goes down far too easily. Order one...just don't blame me when you immediately want a second. As we were leaving, we finally learned the real star of Perry's is the famous pork chop. Then one was delivered to the table next to us. Y'all...that thing looked about five inches tall, carved into slices like a pie, and could probably feed a small family. Holy moly. Final verdict: beautiful restaurant, attentive service, and some genuinely great bites. But if you're a first-timer, do yourself a favor and order the pork chop. Apparently, that's the move. Guess we'll have to go back and let the giant pork chop have its chance at redemption.
