Our server June was detailed, attentive, and engaging without being meddling or scripted. What a sincere vibe! As a queer couple we LOVED the busy Saturday night following a Pride event. We knew it would be a splurge and enjoyed every minute. The rib-eye did not rely on salt and fat alone, and every part of the dish shone in a way that you don't experience at even the best steakhouses. We live hours away but will be back to eat at Lotte again!

If I could give this more than five stars I would. This place is incredible. First off I highly…read morerecommend making reservations cause it seems like a pretty popular upscale place. The design of the restaurant is gorgeous. It is open concept with big beautiful windows and a ton of natural light, but it still feels so elevated but not too elevated that you can't wear jeans but elevated enough that you could wear heels. I saw people dressed casual in there, and I saw people dressed in suits. I highly recommend sitting at the chef's table, which is the counter that belly's right up to the chefs that are cooking right out in the open. It is the coolest experience to watch their every move and listen to them communicate with each other. You do not feel any heat off of the grill or the stove because of the way it's set up. You just get to watch them make their magic. I expected this place to be overly priced because it is so nice but honestly, the prices are great. For the experience and for the food, I was more than happy with the pricing. The hospitality there is top-notch from the second you walk in and every minute after that, you feel like you are paid attention to and that you matter. You feel like all of the staff are grateful for you but not in an overbearing way just in a very appreciative way. This restaurant truly understands that the customers are what keep them in business. We had a 5 PM reservation on a Saturday night. Like I said, we ate at the chefs table. As soon as we sat down, the owner came up and greeted us and shook our hands, introduced himself and introduced us to all of the chefs that were cooking. I noticed he did that with everybody at the chefs table, so it was such a cool experience. Then he brought us out a little sample to try that isn't on the menu and that was super nice. He checked on us a couple of times after that. In between him checking on us, we had the nicest waiter checking on us. He was more than a waiter. He was like a concierge of the restaurant. He knew about every dish and every drink and could give us very specific details about it and help us decide what we would like. Now to the food, wow I mean wow. Check out my pictures for what we ordered. We cannot wait to go back. Service 10/10 Staff 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 Food 10/10 Drinks 10/10 Run to this place for an elevated, but affordable dining experience.

We had just enough time to grab a cocktail at the bar and enjoy the outside area while we waited. Cheers to the very busy bar team. We were waited on very quickly and our drinks is were well balanced and exactly the same. I ordered the Veggie sandwich with aioli dressing and broccoli salad side salad. I would highly recommend this dish if you want something filling but not overly heavy or hot. My friend ordered the sweet potatoes, her personal favorite, and raved about them. The service was great and the place had a relaxed vibe to it. On a personal note: it was really loud (for my taste) conversations had to be shouted to hear and it's hard to enjoy the great weather and outdoor space with the street noise so close ,the motorcycles that liked to crews by periodically to rev their engines several times during our dinner it made it less than enjoyable dining and for conversation. I love a good patio during nice weather but for me the noise level was so high it was hard to truly enjoy the dining experience as a whole. In general a great place to spend the eve in for dinner and drinks if you don't mind shouting and loud noise throughout your stay.

After spending the day…read moreexploring Tanganyika Wildlife Park, we wanted a relaxing dinner within walking distance of our hotel, and this locally owned restaurant was exactly what we were hoping to find. The first surprise was the size of the restaurant. From the street, it looks fairly modest, but once inside, it opens into a beautiful historic warehouse with exposed brick, an industrial feel, and a lively atmosphere. I also loved discovering the large outdoor patio tucked away behind the building--it would be a fantastic place to enjoy live music on a future visit. We ordered the baby back ribs, which had just been introduced to the menu that evening, and they were incredible. The meat was tender enough to fall right off the bone, the baked beans had just the right amount of spice, and the fries rounded out a great comfort meal. I also enjoyed trying a local cider on tap, and we couldn't resist finishing with the Key Lime Pie Crème Brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. What really stood out was how relaxed the experience felt. Even though the restaurant was busy, we never felt rushed. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and it was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of adventure. If you're visiting Wichita, especially if you're staying in Historic Old Town, I highly recommend adding Public at the Brickyard to your itinerary. Great food, genuine hospitality, and a wonderful example of supporting local Kansas producers make this a restaurant I'll gladly return to on my next visit.
