As a pro mua you don't always know what environment you're walking into and it's best to be prepared for anything. Thankfully I had the kit towel at my last gig. There was a terrible misunderstanding (not my client's fault) that lead to me having to do my client's makeup in a hotel bathroom and that kit towel came in extra handy! The changing station became my work station. Crazy I know but stranger things have happened. I highly recommend the brushes as well and wish I had bought a few more especially the concealer brush. The size and weight of it is perfect! The best part is buying from a brand made by an artist who truly understands the needs of other artists.

Today was my first day visiting this family owned salon and I loved it! I made my appointment…read moreonline a few days prior, but had to change the time at the last minute. One of the owners quickly assisted me with the schedule change and I was good to go. Due to traffic I was a little late, but my braider, Mia, still welcomed me with a smile and was very pleasant and understanding. She carefully washed my hair and then blow dried it. And guess what? THE SHAMPOO AND BLOW DRY ARE INCLUDED WITH YOUR BRAIDING SERVICE!! It's hard to find a salon that doesn't require you to come already washed and blow dried before having your hair braided. Mia was very gentle with my thick, natural hair during the entire process. Her work was neat and it came out beautifully! I will definitely be booking with her again!
