The "port-a-potties" are always overflowing to the point where it somehow makes more sense to sneak around and squat and pee behind them. While it's nice to have a place in Arlington that is entirely outside and casual, this place was all sorts of wrong. First the bathrooms are completely unusable. On a Saturday night every port a potty was overflowing with the contents inside. Secondly the drinks were too pricey for what they were. I got a vodka soda with about 4 ice cubes and flat soda. OKAY. So... the lot... is a vibe. Overall when you're drunk with your pals and it's a nice summer night this is the place to be. Beware it's all out doors, it's in the name, it's just a huge parking lot. Very poor management and rude customer service. We got there at 3 and they started converting our section to a vip section around 5-6. The bouncer asked us if we can move to another table a we did without question. He even put an umbrella on the table since it may rain. Can't really complain about what The Lot has to offer - a decent amount of tables, games, several bars and food trucks, and reasonably clean bathrooms. It's good for a day outside drinking with friends. Could you easily grab a pack of white claw's and sit in your own backyard with a normal sized version of Jenga? Sure, but that didn't stop the crowd from making their way to The Lot last weekend and probably not any warm-weathered weekend in the near future. Take it for what it is and enjoy. read more

Honestly one of the worst clubs/bars I've been to. The "owner" himself got confrontational with the group I was with because we were unknowingly siting in a VIP table in a random area of The lot during the pouring rain. Once he approached us he said he was being generous by letting us sit here for over an hour and told my girlfriend who was asking questions about his intentions to "shut her mouth" and got confrontational with a buddy of mine who said "friend" to him in Spanish. This place is over priced, not worth the money & overall disorganized and a train wreck. Best of luck to whoever doesn't trust this review. read more

They have one place for food "Rebel Taco" who will not sell anything on their menu besides a "simple nacho" when they have 6 other things advertised. The bouncer brings his dog to work and leaves it in the car!!!!!!! My friend told the cop on site that she was concerned about the dog because the windows were all foggy and it was 80 degrees and he told her to mind her business. Beautiful out door space that is dog friendly. The atmosphere is friendly and lively. The staff are all kind and courteous. The Lot has a different feel than just sitting on a dark bar. I attended the Jam session event with live music, good people and fun swag. Definitely worth checking out if you have not been. The owners recently added TV's for football season so patrons can sit outside drink, eat and watch their favorite teams play. The food trucks have tacos, fries and chicken tenders and all are pretty delicious. Great beers on tap and a full service liquor bar as well. The sandy pit area has games like corn hole and bucket beer pong. It's definitely a unique experience. Parking is street only so just be aware before drive. read more

The bouncer let us and a group of men (as well as my girlfriend) in the establishment. They proceeded to serve all the men and denied my girlfriend. They said she was stumbling. She was indeed not. At the time, we had only been there 5 minutes TOPS. Not even a minute later, the manager comes up to the table, arms on her hips, and tells us that my girlfriend must be cut off. She hadn't even started!! So how could she be cut off? After much Socratic debate, she agreed to pay us back for the drink someone else grabbed for my girlfriend. However, as she walked away, she flicked us off with her boney, nimble finger. It was extremely unprofessional. We then left the establishment and the bouncer assured us that she did not deserve to be denied service. This was an incredibly sexist encounter. This puts us back 50 years. Also, The Lot has lots of pebbles on the ground. I'm imagining many people get kicked out for tripping on these pebbles rather than actually being drunk. But that's just my two cents. 0/5 experience and I will go to war to let people know NOT to attend this establishment. read more

My experience for my first time at the lot was horrible. Owners act very egotistical & privledged (to put it short), and they let their friends stay and hog the activities at the lot, then kick you out at close and let them stay. That wouldn't be a problem if the owner and they're friends didn't act like assholes. They laughed at the guests that had to go and didn't care that their friends were hogging the activities all night. I'm surprised I was treated in this fashion being a new guest. Honestly liked the place until I met one of the owners and his friends. Horrible service and I hope you learn to treat your guests better in the future. You can reply (or not) with a typical "I'm sorry for your experience" but I'd rather just see that whole vibe go away. Treat your guests respectfully please. I was excited to go there too. We asked that he confirm that it was a similar sized tabled, which he said yes, but we were moved from a full picnic table or a barrel with 3 chairs. The owner Mike communicated easily via e-mail to organize before the night of our event, and when we arrived the staff was fantastic - accommodating and friendly. Visited the lot on Halloween evening with six friends. The night started out well however after leaving 2 members at our non-reservation required table while the other four retrieved food and drinks, the rest of us came back to the table where the owner was arguing and kicking our group out of the table. There was no rhyme or reason other than being racially motivated or that the two had no food/drinks while they waited on the group. The behavior of the owner was awful. His words were unkind and dismissive/aggressively. His own employees (multiple) apologized to our group and indicated he's just an asshole to everyone. That's not ok, you don't treat paying patrons like this. Needless to say I would never go back there and I hope anyone reading this considers if he treats patrons and employees like this why should anyone waste their $$ there.
