I have been bringing all of my cars here for years for oil changes and PA inspections and emissions tests. The team usually gets your vehicle in a bay immediately. On those odd days, when there's a wait, I leave and return on a different day. The auto team are friendly and professional. If you ask them to honor a coupon you left at home, they usually do it. It's not the cheapest place in town, but it is a franchise or corporate-owned location with a firm support system and credible reputation. Today it's the BMW Z4 3.0i, tomorrow it's the Mercedes E350 4matic It's always clean in the waiting room, free Keurig coffees, dog treats, magazines, juice boxes, bottled water, coloring books and crayons and lollipops for the rugrats. read more

I was a bit overdue on getting my oil changed. So I decided to go to the drive through oil change to get it done quick. Upon arrival, I was seen immediately. Brendon was the technician who was helping me, and he's the whole reason I'm writing this review. He was very honest and straightforward with me about the recommended services for my car. He prioritized which ones are the most important, and also said that I could wait a bit to get them done. He was very honest on if I actually needed them done or not. I was there for maybe ~30 minutes? I was given a complimentary bottle of water, and had good conversations with many of the employees there. Brendon was very nice and helpful and professional. Of course, he took great care of my car and made sure that it was all good. He was patient with me as I took a bit to decide on if I wanted to get the recommended services done today, and reassured me that I could wait a bit. I believe I spent about $130 here, which included the synthetic titanium oil, and a new filter for it. They have many coupons here available, which I would recommend taking advantage of. Overall, very good customer service, quick service & friendly employees. Will return to this location. read more

So, the crew that works here are basically the nicest, happiest people on earth. This does not seem possible when you consider that they change oil all day, but it's the truth. Everyone is upbeat and happy All The Time. It could almost be annoying, if it weren't so darn contagious! The manager, John Dwayer, seems to be there every minute it's open and he's the leader and head cheerleader of the joint. He also has a great memory wither for faces or for cars because after my first time there he has always remembered me. Yeah, like every oil change place on the planet, they recommend services that may or may not be necessary to maintain your vehicle (what exactly is a Front or Rear Differential Fluid Change Service?)...but they do their job well and with a smile. In addition to oil changes and fluid replacements, they replace wiper blades, rotate tires, fix headlights, and perform other light maintenance and repairs. Also, if you get your oil changed here, you can stop in any time and get your windshield wiper fluid, anti-freeze, power steering fluid, and lord knows what other fluids, topped off for free. Never having to purchase car fluids is a nice perk. read more

I went in this morning for an oil change and pulled right into the bay. Joe Tramontano, the manager, was excellent about keeping me informed of the progress. Matt and Donny were my techs and they were awesome. I'd also like to compliment Liz on her friendly nature. They really go above and beyond. Joe cleaned out the nuts and stones left behind by a critter, in my air filter, actually came and pulled out the glovebox to check the inside filter as well. I highly recommend them. read more

Yes they are slightly more expensive than other places I have taken my car in the past however, for a few more dollars you get superior service. The staff is friendly and professional and very knowledgeable. I usually drop my car off, but the waiting area is clean and stocked with tons of drinks, lollipops and dog treats for kids and fur kids! They will make recommendations but, are never pushy. I went to take my car to get inspected today and the only thing that didn't pass was my horn. The horn was unplugged and instead of checking to find the simple fix they said they couldn't do it. I then drove a half hour home for my father in law to fix it in 5 seconds and then back. They are also extremely overpriced compared to other places as well. In the past I've gotten good service from this location but recently the service has been very poor! On my last visit they left my lug nuts loose on two wheels. On my visit yesterday they said that they were finished. I than had to ask them to check and replace the air filter. The employees there are really great and the manager Kahn is a wonderful person who cares about the customers. I have been to a lot of oil changing places and received really bad service including jiffy lube, But I will continue to go to the lube center in Shrewsbury PA. The only advantage to this Lube joint is the location for people local to Shrewsbury. They aren't concerned with customer service or giving you what you ask for, they just want to open your wallet as far they can pry it open. After going here for over a year and having to dodge the bogus "problems" that add on the $$$ to the bill, I went for a quick oil change before a trip to the beach, I had very little time and quite unusually had cash on me. I wanted the basic oil change and honestly just wanted to get in and out. Knowing I had a couple more stops before getting back to my bank card I specifically asked for a basic oil change. Twice. They go about changing the oil and of COURSE here comes the guy telling me I need three other things. At least $150 more than the basic oil. I had my car serviced at Martins a month earlier and they changed my engine filters, they held up bright white filters and said I needed new filters. Ha! Little did they know! Next they tried to sell me on rear differential fluid. They recommend every 15k. Ridiculous. No thanks. As I try and pay, the girl tells me it's $56. ??!! Excuse me? They gave me the 5k change because "that's what you normally get". I tell her I asked for the basic, twice, and she shrugs her shoulders and says they'll give me basic next time. I just there the money on her table and left. Exasperated. Then I am offered a survey in my e-maiI. I usually only fill out surveys if I've had a super positive experience but I decided to go ahead and tell about my experience. I get a call about a week later from the center and the guy tells me off the jump that he pulled my history and I always have gotten the 5k service, didn't ask me a thing about my experience just defended his store and basically talked down to me. When I complained that the guy tried to give me a fluid that my manufacturer recommends changing every 50K he said Toyota just wanted my differential to go bad so they could rip me off. Pot? Kettle? Awful. He did offer me a free oil change in his very condescending tone, but I'll take my car to somewhere less convenient for a little customer loyalty and care. I recommend you do too. read more

We use The Lube Center all the time. While their prices are not the cheapest, I'm willing to pay a little extra for the courteous help, explanation and service they provide. I don't like to have to wait around forever, and The Lube Center in Shrewsbury tends to fit my specs completely. I've been going there for several years now, and have used them for much more than just the oil change. They are great for changing a battery and even changing brakes. My brother in law came from out of town and needed an oil change. I went to the Lube Center in Shrewsbury PA near my home with him. They asked him what oil he wanted (giving him two options from there list) he did choose the synthetic which he knew would be an additional cost. The oil change went from $34 to$91 and he only uses 3.4qts in his hybrid. The manager Justin just said thats that and did not even try to justify this. POOR customer relations. Now my wife and I whom get all 4 of our cars Inspected and oil changes done there will be going elsewhere with our business. About 5 months ago I went to the Lube Center to get an oil change and was happy with the service provided. However, today I went to get my car inspected and my oil changed and was told that a bracket that holds up the oil canister was snapped off. Well guess what it was broken at the Lube Center and was never made aware of this issue and it cost me $54.99 to get replaced. The price to get it replaced was not the issue. My issue is, I was never even told about it. I will NEVER go back to the Lube Center ever again. Oh, I was also told I needed my transmission fluid changed because it was long over due and it would cost and arm and a leg (Approx. $280.) However, upon getting my car inspected (It Passed) I was told my transmission fluid was good for another 7-10K miles. Found a new place I will go for all my car service needs!! read more

Started out well, nice friendly service. Then we got home and realized oil was leaking in our driveway. We had an appointment with a different mechanic to do brakes on our car the next day so we asked him to look at it. Turns out the Oil filter had been over tightened and the gasket was warped. I don't understand the negative reviews. I went in for an oil change ( I live out of town) around10:00 a.k. on a weekday. I was done in less than 20 minutes. The technician Chad and the young lady who rang up the sale were both very professional and friendly. Nobody tried to sell me anything beyond an oil change ( though with over 200,000 miles on my car, it probably could have used some things!), I paid exactly what was presented on the menu card. There was a $5 charge for an extra quart of oil, but that's standard, I know my car takes an extra quart. Chad told me about the free top off services, that's a nice touch. All in all a great experience, and it was cheaper than the same service I get at home (DC suburb). read more

My daughter could have been severely injured after leaving the lube center because of the carelessness of the staff. They did not put the car back together properly which caused the engine to completely shut down. Also, they did not attach the skid plate and it fell off while driving. When she took it back to show them, they put it back with zip ties which were just discovered at a different mechanic.. Never go here!!!!! read more

The folks here are very nice and get me in and out in a very reasonable amount of time. HOWEVER........They try to sell you everything under the sun. I never let them do anything besides change the oil. I take the list of their recommended services to Marlin's and they laugh at it. They have also done the "Well, that's what you had done last time" routine with me after I told them to JUST GIVE ME A BASIC OIL CHANGE. The last time my wife went there I told her "Basic oil change. Nothing else". They took it upon themselves to give her some high end oil change and the bill was just under $100. And even after they give you the high-end oil change that's supposed to be good for 7,500 miles, they put the sticker in the windshield to come back in 3,000 miles. This would be a great service if they would just cut out the shenanigans. I'm going there for an inspection tomorrow. Let's hope for the best. read more
