Excellent work, timely and fair price. Friendly service. Took time to explain issue. Job was completed earlier than promised.

I've consistently had amazing experiences at Christian Brothers Automotive. My parents have been…read moreloyal customers since 2010, and I started bringing my car here a couple of years ago. Their pricing is very fair--because let's be honest, no one enjoys paying for car repairs--but their 3-year/36,000-mile warranty (whichever comes last) really helps ease the sting. That kind of coverage is practically unheard of. The service advisors are always friendly and take the time to clearly explain what's going on with my car, which I really appreciate since I'm not very car-savvy. They're also honest about what services are actually needed and don't try to upsell me on unnecessary work like dealerships often do. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Christian Brothers to anyone looking for a trustworthy, reliable place for auto repairs.

I was able to get a hold of family in Rockdale, Texas, that came to my aid. I contacted Rockdale Country Ford's Service Department and had my vehicle towed there. Great bunch of folks, if I didn't live so far away, I would do more business with them.

Yep, FOUR DOLLARS, amazing. We drove from Houston to purchase our vehicle. Got home and it had a service engine light. We drove it back by the end of the week. While it was inconvenient it tuned out to be well worth the effort and time. The Sales team had a loaner waiting upon arrival. We were out of the car for less than 15 minutes and back on the road. We left the truck with their service department. They wrote down each of our concerns and phoned us the next day with feedback. Very thorough and friendly. Once the part they were waiting on was installed they called to say the truck was ready. We prepared to make another two and half hour drive, but no they offered (without prompting) to deliver our vehicle. AWESOME! We truly appreciated the extra touch. I would definitely by another vehicle from this dealership. THANK YOU!

If I could give zero stars, I would. After seeing some of the reviews on google, I honestly believe…read moremany are fake, from friends/family, or paid promos -- because my experience at Steve's Tune Ups was a total nightmare. About a month ago, I brought my car in for a simple alignment and rotor replacement. The vehicle was veering slightly despite having new tires, so I figured I'd get it aligned and tuned up. They charged me over $1,200 -- which I initially accepted, assuming the work was thorough. They also threw in an oil change. A few weeks later, I started noticing a slight vibration and wobble on the front passenger side. Naturally, I brought it back, thinking it might be something minor, especially since they were the last people to touch the car. Instead, I'm hit with a laundry list of "issues" -- bad CV joints, sway bars, and possibly a motor or transmission mount -- totaling another $1,400+. When I asked why none of this was caught during the recent alignment, I got a vague response like, "Sometimes you don't catch those things." It gets worse: While they were "test driving" my car, a friend of mine called me and said, "Why are they driving your car so hard back there in that parking lot?" When I got the car back, the vibration was noticeably worse than when I dropped it off -- meaning I basically paid them $159 "diagnostic" to make the issue WORSE. And when I refused to authorize more work is when they held my car hostage until I paid the $159 "diagnostic fee" -- for work that was essentially a review of their own previous work, and that I wasn't even warned about up front!!! Ridiculous. At this point, I was angry and needed a second opinion. I waited to post this review until I confirmed what I suspected -- I had two other shops inspect the same issue. One quoted under $400 total (parts + labor), and the other quoted just over $500. That's less than half of what Steve's tried to charge me! This entire experience has left me angry, frustrated, and feeling completely ripped off. I trusted them, and not only did they fail to fix the problem -- they made it worse and tried to upsell me into more unnecessary repairs. Do not bring your vehicle here. Get a second opinion before you hand over a single dollar. Or better yet; bring your car to a HONEST shop to begin with! Steve's Tune Ups is, in my opinion, a complete scam shop. It sucks that we live in a world where even though things are hard and prices are high for everyone, you got people like this scamming off hard working people. Pathetic! Sorry-not sorry
