After I did not hear from her, however, I decided to give her a quick call to make sure she received the form on her end. What a mistake that was... My excited bubble quickly popped when Gina greeted me with a very pessimistic view on my budget and experiences vetting other florists prior to talking to her as she made a ton of excuses for both herself and another florist who completely stopped talking to me in the middle of our planning process. Instead of trying to get to know me and additional details related to our wedding, Gina proceeded to leverage herself as being in high-demand and encouraging me to look at more 'basic' florists as she is really 'top-notch' and 'the best of the best.' Additionally, she told me that she responded to my message multiple times (which she never did), and also felt the need to tell me that she's not going to communicate regularly if we do decide to choose her saying, and I quote, 'If communication is what you're looking for, you're not going to get it here. That's not my style!' I do not recommend Gina purely based on her SEVERE lack of professionalism and poor approach to talking to a potential new client. Update: I did post this within an hour of speaking to Gina on the phone because, quite frankly, I was appalled. While she did state that she was "Go with the flow," she also made it clear that she would not be communicating regularly as that is not how she operates with the quote above. In regards to her comment below about flower shortages and her "assistance in my journey to find a florist," that's a nice way to put it but the reality is that she pushed me away from the beginning of the conversation to the very end.
