I wish someone would have warned me about this place. I came here for the first time, and had an appointment for a basic pedicure. The male who performed this service used the hard scrub sponge so aggressive on my feet (not even the bottom of my feet) and gave me cuts from the amount of pressure he used. I also left with nail polish all over my toes. When I confronted the owner/manager of this establishment, she blamed my "dry skin" (Which my feet were smooth/no callus/no dry skin). I explained what happened and the best they would offer is 20% refund or a gift card. After not receiving the refund in 3 days, I called back and was hung up on. I called back once again and was refunded $20 from the $50 I paid. They refused to refund me fully. They have deleted my reviews as well. I have sent 3 emails which have also been ignored. I never imagined having to worry about someone being so aggressive that I now have open wounds that must heal from a pedicure. I will be notifying the Montana Department of Labor & Industry's Business Standards Division, specifically the Board of Barbers and Cosmetologists. I sustained injury from this establishment. The nail tech was extremely rude said the color that I wanted was ugly and she picked her own. I wanted French tips and I grew my nails for quite some time and the lady cut all the way to where it started to hurt I tell her the language barrier did not go though and she keeps on going. I got cut I asked for a bandage and nope did not listen. I asked for gel but got regular nail polish. I went in for my first time because a nail had cracked. I only get a thin layer of acrylic on my natural nails to strengthen them & I get gel manicure on top. The nail tech was nice, but it felt rushed. We hadn't even started painting my nails when she told her next client she only needed 2-5 minutes... and then I noticed bumps, little spots that look like tiny craters, and that the acrylic didn't go to my cuticle so it already made my nails look grown out. I mentioned the bump to the nail tech & she told me it was bc it wasn't dry. Once I got into my car and the sun hit them, it made the little dividends that look like craters show way more, and the bumps. I got a daisy on 2 fingers and she asked if I'd like a pink dot in the middle as well, and one of the dots isn't in the middle at all. I was so excited to try here because I was recommended it by a friend but left super sad :( the polish isn't even, the color doesn't go to my cuticle and it all just felt like my nails weren't a priority to make look nice. $60 did not feel worth it. read more

On the Sunday before St. Patrick's day my girlfriend and I decided to go and get our nails done after church. I normally go to another place and love the overall quality and customer service. But they were booked out and I have been to m nails before. I never really had a good experience but maybe they are doing better now? I booked an appointment for a fill on acrylics (me) and a full set for my friend. When we got to the nail place no one was there and they sat us down immediately. Which is nice, we love quick service. The lady let us look through colors for a long time while we waited for them to come out. It seemed like the nail tech listened to the ideas of ours but the quality was not good. I normally have my nails really long more rectangle/coffin, the lady asked me the length I wanted them cut too, and I agreed on this small trim. By the end of her filing the acrylic I had short squared nails. Then asked me if I liked it, and I didnt want to be mean cause you can't really add back to a nail? So I said that this is out of my comfort zone but I'll be used to it for this one time. My nail idea was sage green french tips with a little gold foil on the side on my ring and middle finger. The French tip quality was uneven. And you can't really mess up the foil part. Then she put the final top coat on. I looked at them and she asked me if I liked them once again, and I didn't want to be rude and say my idea was cute but the quality of the task was just not impressive. So I said yah I'll get used to them. (The length was uneven and not what I wanted, the nails were thick, the top coat was bumpy and thick in areas, etc) She charged me 75. Which I thought was out of reach in the first place for the over all experience, time, and quality. So I signed the receipt. Then waited for my friend to pay. The lady who did my nails, looks at the receipt and asks me "so no tip" in a hostile attitude. I looked away because I just wanted to cry because of the price for the quality i received. THEN SHE ASKED AGAIN. My friend was charged the same amount for a full set poor quality acrylic white French tips. My friend tipped due to not wanting to be yelled at either. And we walked out of the building as this woman was trying to "confront" me. My demeanor shifted when she asked me about the shape and length of my nails which is in the beginning. I went from talking and being bubbly with my friend, to sad that I didn't like the work that was happening. I don't know this woman's name, but I do know the owners from getting nails done by them in the past past. They were always kind and did their best. I came out with fabulous fingernails and toe nails, and when in my post visit haste, I messed up the paint on my big toe, I circled back and she fixed it good as new and got me back on track. I must be a glutton for punishment because I have been to this place multiple times and each time I have left disappointed, but it's close to my house so I continue to go. That is until now. Each time I go, I am disappointed in the service, lack of friendliness of staff and the outcome of the nails. Usually I get a gel manicure and they RARELY soak off the polish. Instead they just use the electric handheld wand to get off the polish, but there is almost always polish left over and that wouldn't happen if they took the time to soak it off. Next, almost every time i leave, i end up filing my own nails once i get in my car because they do a poor job of getting the edges smooth. I shouldn't have to do this after paying for a manicure. Finally, today i went in for a regular manicure hoping for more desirable results and the attached pictures are the results. Very disappointing. I feel like i could've just thrown away $18 and would've felt better about it than spending that on my nails today. Now, i plan to go home and remove the polish, file my own nails and they will look 10x better than the work they did at the M nail salon. If you want a quick, imperfect nail experience and you enjoy wasting money- i would recommend this place. Otherwise, stay away! read more

Very very bad experience! It was rushed and they cut me over 5 times by a person I came to find out didn't even work there. I got a pedicure and acrilic nails, they were terrible! I went back in and they covered it up, he was nice and I think he would have been good if he had done it the first time, or re-did the entire thing but instead they did the bare minimum and I should have demanded a refund or had them completely redo it, but by then I didn't want them anywhere near me. The salon is brand new and beautiful. All the chairs are high quality and they have a great selection of polishes. I had a pedicure, polish not shellac and it was $43! They have 3 "levels" of pedicures and yes I did knowingly choose the second level but for that much money I expect the royal treatment. There was no callous removal or hot rocks/towels. I was also charged $5 for "nail art" (I am using that term VERY loosely) as the woman drew 3 lines with 2 glitter dots and called it art. My nails were also cut waaaaay too short and crooked. DO NOT go to this spa! I got a horrible infection on my big toe after the nail tech tried to pry out an ingrown toenail that didn't exist.. I finally went to the doctor today after two weeks of pain and the infection was so bad that my foot had to be numbed and half of the toenail was removed. I recently had a French manicure "shellac" here on a Thursday. Unfortunately, I will not be back! I had decided to take a break from getting my nails done due to the fact that I have to then become a slave to getting them done every two weeks. I have come here maybe 6 or so times before. But my cuticles were so bad and I work with the public so I decided to get them done again. I had a male technician who when I asked his name told me it was "peter pan". I was charged $40 and left this man a $10 tip. I felt as if the product was very thin when it was applied and asked if he would do another top coat he said he did two and if I wanted it to last longer it's the base coat that should be applied twice. He was already on the top coat when this was discussed. One day later on Friday, 3 of my nails were chipping and flaking. I immediately called them and the owner told me to come back . I came back on my day off (now day 5) and more were chipped. I asked to just have it all removed. No one offered my money back or apologized or anything. In fact Peter Pan tried to argue with me that he's never had a problem before! I have lived in Vegas, nail studios are on every corner. The good places the manicures last two weeks. I know the owner of a salon and she told me a lot of places dilute their product to make it last longer and also customers have to return sooner.... hope that's not the case here but in any event they got my $50 and I got nothing. I won't be back!! I wouldn't go here with other choices in town. I feel if I pay for a service/ product I should get it.! Would never recommend to anyone! read more

I always get excited when a new nail salon opens that I can check out. Unfortunately, trying this 'new' place was extremely disappointing. I made an appointment about 3 days in advance for a spa pedicure (a step above the basic) and manicure. I was told to expect about 1.5 hours. After I arrived and checked in, I sat in the pedicure chair for 25 minutes waiting for my pedicure to start. While I was waiting, I had a direct view of the receptionist. You could tell she was having a rough day, and then I watched one of her bosses treat her extremely disrespectfully when a customer walked out on them for not paying. Now, I have two thoughts here. Why was the customer so upset she left without paying, and do they think yelling at the receptionist will solve problem? Then the boss came to start my pedicure with a very gruff look on her face; she was less then friendly and didn't confirm what sort of appointment I had booked. I mentioned that I wasn't sure I would have time for both the pedi and mani now since it was starting 30 minutes late (mind you there were less than 5 other customers in the place). She ended up giving me the wrong type of pedicure; I figure this out after she skipped the callus removal step. At this point, I spoke up and then she finally tried to communicate with me for the first time. She did add in the callus work, and thankfully I wasn't charged for it. I had a quick manicure before leaving. Both were so-so. While there, I determined that this nail salon was owned by the same people as Le Nails. If I had known that, I wouldn't have tried it in the first place. I have never been impressed with that place. The only reason I am giving this place two stars is because the are new, they need to work the opening kinks, and the atmosphere is lovely. And, they have two smaller kid size manicure chairs that are adorable. Regardless, I will not be trying this place a second time even though all services are 20% off for the grand opening. read more
