My favorite place to shop! Everyone that works there is amazing! So helpful, nice and really professional. They also really make it fun! They make you feel like you're shopping with friends when you are there. They carry my two favorites, Michael Stars and Liverpool, and I always find something unique when I go in. The lady stared us down as we parked, followed us around the store like we were going to steal, then YELLED at us and argued about our parking when we were going to go next door to grab a quick coffee. The store owner is on a power trip where she monitors the parking lot and doesn't allow people to park EVEN AFTER WE PATRONIZED HER BUSINESS. Sorry that you stock ugly ass merchandise and I didn't want to buy anything. Not to mention that she literally followed me and my family in the store because we were wearing hiking clothes and didn't live up to her standards apparently. I've been walking in this area for years and never took the time to go into Mabel's but I'm so glad we did! We were there on Black Friday with our kids and the woman working could not have been nicer. I told her how great the store was and how reasonable the prices are for the area. My daughter used her allowance to buy the softest stuffed kitten she absolutely loves. Keep up the great work Mabel's, we will be back for sure! read more

This is the greatest, cutest little store ever!! They have amazing clothes at reasonable prices and great gifts. You can tell there is such a personal touch here in both the clothing choices and how adorable the store is! They have clothes for all events from everyday lounging to a day at the races. In addition, they have the absolute cutest children's clothes. Again great gifts including baby clothes and small books and other baby accessories. I LOVE MABELS!!!! I've been shopping here for 10 years now. The owner Lisa and ALL her staff are AMAZING. Lisa will do ANYTHING for customers especially during crazy Covid times. I know this as a Fact because I was helping her out during the first shut in. If I could afford it I would dress in Mabels only. I get complimented & asked where I can get a Mabels purchase EVERY time I'm wearing one. The variety is amazing and Lisa always make sure to buy unique amazing clothing accessories. What a cute store! I stumbled upon Mabel's as I was window shopping down Cedros Ave. and am so glad to have had the good luck to find it! Not only does Mabel's carry fashionable clothes and accessories for reasonable prices, there's actually parking for customers in front of the store! If you've ever been down Cedros, you know how hard it is to find parking... But most of all, I love the story behind the inspiration for the store. There are three Mabel's stores that are owned and run by three sisters. The Mabel's on Cedros is owned by Lisa, and she told me that Mabel is their grandmother and she was the inspiration to opening the boutiques. Her grandmother, Mabel, loved fashion, was fun and creative and really inspired her granddaughters to appreciate fashion as she did. And the store really reflects that! It's so cute and inviting. There are unique styles and I really love how the store is set up. Also, Mabel's supports a lot of local designers and artists like myself. They're now carrying 1stitch2stitch accessories! You won't regret shopping there. They have so much good stuff, it'll be hard to leave without buying at least one thing you love! read more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this boutique! I had to hijack one of their parking spaces to go to Lofty Coffee and went in to shop - out of curiosity and to fulfill my parking obligation . Wow! What a great find! Beautiful , unique well priced women's clothing that you just won't find at any department store. Gorgeous jewelry , too. It's family owned and operated and the service is so personal . I wasn't in the market for kids clothes, but when I have a need, I will definitely come to Mabel's- their kids clothes looked beautiful. I'll be shopping here again and again ! read more

I also like this shop and it is one of my favorites. The fashion is simply hip, cool, trendy, not-trendy but cool anyway.....the prices are up there but somehow it's okay to pay a little more for something original. This store would do great in SoHo New York. The baby shop down the street is also just as great. read more

This review is actually for the location in The Village. I walked in around 2pm. There were only 2 women in the store.The two of them carried on a gossip session and were gesturing and laughing as I wondered where the sales associate was. This went on for at least 5mins and no one greeted me at all. As I went to leave one of the two women ran after me and started telling me I was beautiful and how she loved my dress. She then went behind the cash register and I realized she was the sales associate. Rather than an awkward attempt to save some business by uncomfortably flattering me on the way out, it would've been nice to just have the basic customer service that is expected at any store ("welcome in! Can i help you find something?"). It does not seem as if the person working is very vested in the business as she appears to be using the store as a social opportunity instead. Even more shocking an associate at a neighboring store told me she's one of the owners. No pride in ownership apparently. read more
