Checked out several used baby clothes/gear stores in San Diego area and this was by far the cleanest and well organized place. Smaller curation of infant clothes compared to others but had a lot more baby gear. The toys were also well organized by age, which was very useful. June bug is a great store but if u go... Most of the clothes their are for younger kids (3-7) but their are some clothes are for older girls (10-13) you just need to look And their isn't A proper changing room, their is a a changing room but it is also a bathroom. But it still works the bathroom is clean and has a working lock. But if some one want to try on something and someone else is still in their they have to wait for them. But besides all of that I love this shop and I got a dress that was originally $25 for $12.50 read more

This place is so clean! That's really important too! All the toys and clothes were in super good condition as well... and reasonably priced. They're a fairly new place on the north end of the Solana Beach Design District, off Cedros. The owner was really helpful with information about their yoga classes, business mission and more. I found the perfect Tea collection shirt for only $7! Everything was really clean so I didn't hesitate to put it right on him. And I got a ton of other things like a Burberry shirt for $14!! Love this place! I've sold to them and purchased items and all experiences have been lovely. I dropped off a bin of clothing last spring and received a check for $100. Plus, they will graciously donate the items they don't buy if you choose! So convenient! I've seen some amazing higher-end wooden toys there, and we went in on Halloween morning last year and got the coolest last minute costumes for all three of our kids. I've bought and sold here several times. Occasionally you'll find nicer brands but many of the clothes are Carter's or Gap, etc meaning you could probably get similar items new but on sale for the same prices. Selling is kinda crappy. I understand the margins so that's not a big deal (basically, in exchange for not having to do the work of selling things yourself, you get very little $) but they restrict drop off times AND you have to wait until at least the next day to know what they will offer you. I understand the need for one policy or the other but both is absurd. Then you have to return within a few days to pick up anything they don't want or it'll be donated. This makes selling with them a huge hassle, especially since you have to come back another time to use whatever credit you earn. I'm not sure I'm totally done with Junebug but the relationship is souring. read more

Pros - clean, super cute store. Items for sale are in excellent condition. Cons - buying policy is ridiculous! Be sure to ask to see the terms (they thought I knew them, so I was not given them when I dropped off). Only store that you need to leave your items - they will not look at while you wait. Their terms state they can take whatever items that you are offering and put them right on the floor - so you do not get to see which items they want to sell and agree to how much they will pay you. I had no idea! I dropped off a huge box. 2 x 2 x 3 feet. They took 9 items of mine and wrote up on a sheet tick marks at $2 - $6.. I only found 3 of my items in the store - and they were $6.50, $6.50 and $5.50. So, prices on the floor end in .50.. so they are cheating you 50 cents of price on every item! For a check you get 45% if you drop in one box which I did. 50% for credit. At the end of the day I got a check for only $13 and change for 9 items! Less than $1.50! and the items she took - Melissa and Doug wood toys, a parachute in new condition and I don't know what else... So sure buy here.. only sell to her if you are okay getting only a $1 or $2.. read more

Selling instructions are very limited and ridiculous... "Drop off your items on MONDAY through THURSDAY between 10 AM - 2 PM. You will be contacted within one week after drop off to pick up your unselected items and compensation." So you are going to make me waste my time going to your store TWICE? Super cute consignment boutique and I felt they were very generous in the brands that they bought back. In addition to giving a fair amount back to you. I mean let's face it...you want to get rid of it and they give you a "more than fair" amount back when you sell your stuff back. It definitely beats hauling your kiddo stuff around from consignment shop to consignment shop or worse sell it on craigslist. Another bonus is that the owner will venmo the money back or give you store credit. This is a huge benefit to me so I don't have to make the drive back to pick up a check or shop store credit. Such a cute children's resale boutique! Everything is very organized and clean! They carry the top brands in clothing, strollers, accessories, etc for less than half the price of full retail value. The owner is really sweet -- she knew I was looking for a nice high chair and held one for me until I could pick it up! I visit almost every week and there is always something new to see. I love selling at Junebug! Before finding Junebug I donated most of my items to Foothills in San Marcos, so I'm pretty happy with whatever I can get- I'm not usually looking for the best possible deal on my daughter's out-grown or under-used stuff. Unlike the reviewer who left one star, I've never felt cheated, because the re-sale value of something is usually about 5-10% of the new, retail price. Also, as a reply to Debbie's qualms with Junebug's drop off and sell policy, there are other places where you drop off your stuff instead of standing there while they sort through it (Double Take is one example that comes to mind). I feel like Junebug is very considerate of their buyers. They have Venmo, they're flexible about what they'll take, and they'll donate your stuff if you don't want to come pick it up. FYI, their dropoff days are Mondays and Thursdays from 10-2. I haven't bought much there, but we found some cute Peppa Pig shoes that my daughter used for soccer for a little while. Kids grow so quickly that I wish I would've known about Junebug sooner! They sell some super cute, high-quality stuff. They're a rare gem. read more

So glad I finally stopped in the store today. I am due in 3 days and was just planning to browse but ended up purchasing a few items. There are very few resales in the area but this one is great and makes up for the lack of. They had a decent amount of bouncers, strollers, portable smaller sleepers and other larger items. I found a great bouncer (bjorn) that I really didn't want to spend the $160 that is priced new and for a great deal! There is a great selection of clothes for both genders and separated by ages. There are also hats, socks, carriers, sleepsacks, shoes, costumes, ect. A very good selection and a lot of higher quality items such as organic ect. There is a large book section with both pregnancy and books for kids, and quite a good selection of toys as well. Overall with the space they have they have made use of it and the selection was great. Since we don't know what we are having I look forward to coming back soon to purchase clothing.
