I realized I posted this on google and not here, so I felt the need to add it to yelp as well. This is possibly my FAVORITE boutique in San Diego. The clothes are super cute, they're always rotating through different pieces and they have a great variety. The quality is good and the prices are reasonable. The jewelry options are also great. Lots of different pieces and every time there's something new. But truly the highlight is the women who work here. I have had nothing but great experiences with them. They are helpful but also do a great job of "reading the room" and knowing if you are looking for more attention or just good on your own. They hype you up when something is cute without trying to push everything you try on to you to make a sale. I almost never walk out without having bought something. A few months ago I had honestly one of the most special shopping experiences ever. Brenda was working and it was towards the end of the day so it was quiet. I told her what I was looking for and she pulled some really great options. We ended up having just the very best talk about some wonderful things going on in both of our lives. She's truly so genuine, kind and helpful. I could seriously go on and on. Thank you for always being a great store, and especially thank you for yesterday. I've been a loyal customer of Pretty Please for years--even back when they had a location in Carmel Mountain. I've always loved their clothing and have supported them time and time again (as shown by my punch cards with 32 punches, representing $1,600 spent just on those cards alone). That's why I was so disappointed by the customer service during my visit today. I asked if they could hold a few dresses for me while I quickly browsed neighboring stores--including Daisy Blue, their sister store--and Brenda told me they could only hold them for 30 minutes. It was 4pm on a slow Tuesday afternoon, and they don't close until 6pm. That kind of rigid, impersonal policy--especially toward a long-time customer--felt dismissive and completely out of touch. As if that wasn't bad enough, I received their April birthday discount email at the beginning of this month, which was sent to over 350 recipients without using BCC. That means every customer's email address was exposed to everyone else on the list--a serious breach of privacy and basic email protocol. It's careless and unprofessional, and it shows a lack of respect for their customers' personal information. Between the poor customer service and the privacy violation, I can no longer support this business. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere--there are plenty of small businesses that respect and value their customers both in-store and online. read more

I recently took my 13 year old to Pretty Please looking for a dress for a Bat Mitzvah. We have purchased a few dresses online and when they arrived they were both too big and did not fit well at all. We tried UTC Mall and really didn't have any luck for a 13 year who is 5.11!! We walked into Pretty Please the night before Thanksgiving and were greeted with so much help. I was very impressed by the customer service that we beyond, thoughtful, patient and accommodating. The staff were conscious of my daughters age being thoughtful of what was appropriate for her age. We ended up buying the perfect dress, jeans and a jacket for my daughter and I bought a dress and sweater. We are huge fans of this store - a great local place. read more

I tried to return a shirt because when I got it home I noticed one of the front seams was torn. When I tried to return it, the sales person lectured me about their return policy being exchanges only. I explained to her that the item was defective and I should receive a refund no matter what their policy is. She continued to reiterate the return policy in a very demeaning manner. In the end I agreed to exchange it for a similar shirt, but I would not shop in this boutique again. read more

I usually go to the Pretty Please in Coronado when I'm in town, but it was going to be out of the way and this one was on the way out of town. As usual, picked up some fun dresses that I can't wait to wear! I feel like the shop here is a little smaller than the one in Coronado, but there is a big parking lot for the mall which makes it much easier. I wish I had seen the deal to get 10% off through Yelp! However, they don't carry too many sizes of the same item so when a small is sold, you're best option is to buy a different color, if available, or get a size higher (or smaller). It's rare that they carry size XS. Make sure you check in to get a discount. You'll need it since some of their items are oober pricey. Other Pretty Please locations may carry the same item, but price is inconsistent between stores. read more

Lovely boutique filled with great finding at affordable prices. My favorite part is the jewelry. Nice, pretty, charming with any overdose of sexiness (this is not a Bebe store!). It is very boutiquey, so all items coquettishly displayed. Clothes are really pretty, I never find anything I don't like. Colorful tank top collection is higher quality than other stores like a Forever 21, and more color assortment. Full of elegant chic yet casual clothes. What a surprise it was to go inside this boutique and discover such an awesome selection. At first I avoided it because I thought that it was for a more mature and.or hippie clientele but one day a few months ago something caught my eye in the window and I went it to check it out! They've got awesome maxi brands like Sky and a ton of cute jewelry and tops-I could do some serious damage in here! It does lean more towards the beachy and flowy, but there was definitely some adorable dresses and skirts I'm gonna have to pick up. So far I've purchased a few tops and a dress from here that I've gotten a ton of compliments on. It's small and bit crowded with items so give yourself plenty of time to browse the selection. I wanted to write a review about the Hillcrest location but I couldn't find a listing on yelp.... I have never been to the Del Mar location. I've only shopped at the Hillcrest store, and I have shopped.... This boutique has such a great selection at great prices. I hosted a girl's night shopping event before Christmas. My friends and I had such an incredible time. They keep asking me when I will host another... Kate and Clarece were so helpful dressing us all up. I highly recommend planning a girl's shopping event. They close the store and let you bring in food and drink. It's the best kind of girl's party!!! read more

I want to write a review for the sister store that is next door called Daisy Blue. I bought a beautiful dress there that I saw in the window and it was major love at first site. Wore it once and the neckline started to roll over and expose the under lining... Disappointed and desperate I returned but they were sold out everywhere (It's that fabulous of a maxi)... The store owner went above and beyond and had my dress repaired with their tailor and now it is as good as new! Will definitely shop here again. First time here visiting from Hawaii with my friend, whose brother lives here with his family. I was immediately drawn by the beautiful fabrics and patterns on the clothes here. I like to feel clothes when I buy them and these clothes all felt so soft and nice. Today, though, I walked out with two pairs of artist collection socks. i have been here twice, both times with amazing service. the first time the ladies hooked me up with a full outfit, down to the jewelry, all for under $60. the second time, i came after dinner with the ENTIRE fam, sorry fam, and the girl brought out the dress i wanted to try on, and another one, that i wasn't sure i liked. i tried on both, the one i choose stank, but the one she chose looked super duper, she had an eye for it. i bought it, (a gorgeous sequin thingy, short dress), for $50 and got it for a steal i think. she was very attentive, and very helpful, and the store is lucky to have her! thanks, i'll be back, since this store is a VERY cute place for a quick outfit for any occasion, casual to dressy! read more
