You never know what you're going to get when you're away from your home base and start jonesin' for some new ink. I booked 4 hours with Dylan at The Mad Tatter and loved his work so much, I booked two more 4-hour sessions for the next day. He is truly amazing!! If he had any more openings, I'd just sleep at the shop and spend all day in his chair. read more

Well...I didn't get anything done personally at "The Mad Tatter" but my sister and mom did get body piercings (nose and bell button) done by Garrett. Before you hire some one I think you need to make sure they can draw.. pretty bad I had to go to a different tattoo place to fix a total mess up that one of the artist did for me.. especially when I go back to get it finished and get push out the door feeling like he got my money so I didn't need to be seen. Thank goodness there is better tattoo place out there that can make a F up into a beautiful piece of art. Bad thing too is I had to give a rating to post.. When it comes to permanent ink on skin, I think a certain level of skill needs to be proven before letting someone take walk-ins, or ANY client at all. Went in for a VERY simple, very small wrist tattoo for my son. This tattoo was very special to me. All it is, is his name and birthday in roman numerals...the roman numerals are so deep that they're blown out, while the name is so light that it's faded and I just got it two weeks ago. I tried to give this tat and artist the benefit of the doubt and see how it healed first, but this tattoo quite honestly looks like shit. I will have to go and pay someone else to fix it, after paying OVER $100 for this one. I even tipped the guy $30!!! read more
