Today we visited The Madd Potter for Blue Glow Agave and they had just what we were looking for. We even purchased some bonus succulents that are beautiful. My favorite part was the gentleman working on 11July around 1pm, I didn't catch his name, but he was truly so helpful and had the sweetest soul. I purchased 7 plants for less than 150 dollars which seemed like a steal. And they give a military discount that I greatly appreciate! Will visit again! read more

Nick and Bill from Mad Potter Fallbrook (I believe Nick is the owner's son) not only helped me pick out the fountain, but also took $50 off the price, threw in a light kit, color lens, and pump (which most other places charge extra for), and even cut $50 off the delivery. They have a huge selection of pots and planters on hand. They also have catalogs full of products you can order, which is great if you're looking for a style or color that they don't have on display. The man that helped us, (I wish I could remember his name) was soooo nice and extremely helpful. He was also very patient, as my husband is trying to create the perfect landscape for our new pool, and he had lots of questions. He showed us around and gave suggestions, and also showed us their extensive collection of fountains and water features. The prices were very reasonable as well. When going there for the first time, take it slow once you turn onto the road they're on...they're close to the corner and it's possible to miss the entrance if you're not paying close attention. read more

Not too far off the I-15, they are nestled in the gold and green hills of Fallbrook, the land of avocado groves and moderate climates (thanks to pleasant ocean breezes). Madd Potter has beautiful, calming display gardens featuring exotic, tropical, and cacti. You will find yourself inspired and stimulated. The reason I came was their huge selection of colorful pots. Many sizes, colors, shapes, glazes, a vast number of choices and far better than most. Added bonus...many lovely fountains, bird baths, statuary, bird houses, and playful yard art. I took a tour if the whole area. Not one person asked if I needed assistance. The only inventory they have are clay and ceramic pots and they are pricey. Most of their pots are too heavy and/or too large I was looking for a nice 20" pot in plastic, which I bought at the local hardware store for a lot less read more

This place has not updated their hours or just decides to close over an hour early whenever they want. The employee in charge at the end of th e day on the weekends is very rude, unacomadating, and does not care at all that their hours are totally wrong on Yelp and Google. Great selection! Helpful salespeople but not pushy. They let you roam and are happy to answer questions. Their lot is huge with so much to look at and choose from! I recently bought a very colorful birdbath for my garden and I love it. We will go back for more pots as we finish future planting projects. Highly recommended! (An FYI: Their driveway is a little tricky to get into coming from the south; but if you miss it, it's easy to go up Mission and turn around). read more

We found a pot we loved. It was the only one like it that they had. We asked them to hold it for us while we looked around. When we went to pay, it was nowhere to be be found. Their policy is to set hold items on the counter where people pay for their purchases. The clerk said, "Maybe someone else bought it or it got wrapped up with another purchase." Seriously!?!?! It wasn't set behind the counter or marked "SOLD" with our name on it? To THE OWNERS: you need to train your employees better. This is an ass backwards way of doing business. We saw a $1,000 fountain that we love, but we're going to purchase it elsewhere after this experience. We left your business really pissed off. We won't be back. read more

I love this place. They have so many cool things for the yard- accessories, fountains, pottery (obviously), statues, plants, tree, shrubs, etc. All unique. They have some beautiful pieces of what look like I assume driftwood. They could be pieces of art. The best thing also is the helpful staff. Can't say enough good things. I would like to compliment Michele Price and the staff at the Fallbrook location of Madd Potter. On my first visit I was treated like they were happy and appreciated my stopping there. I asked a lot of questions and Michele was happy to answer and she asked questions (imagine that, someone taking the time to ask questions?). I was impressed !! We purchased a fountain and found that there was a sound problem that we couldn't resolve. I called Michele and she looked into the matter, then suggested that a Service Call was in order. A couple of days later, Sergio & Mike came to our house with smiles on their faces and went to work. The problem was resolved, they were courteous & professional and we couldn't ask for better service. I suggest going to this location, the staff is great and inventory huge!! They have a great and massive selection of pottery for plants. We were looking for special colors and designs and were able to find them here. The staff was very enthusiastic and helpful, especially Mike and Sergio. The quality of the pots that we bought is very good and the prices were reasonable. Our landscape designer referred us to the Madd Potter for a fountain. So glad she did! I like the fact that although both businesses sell succulents, they cooperate and use each other in a friendly manner. Michelle was wonderful, helpful, and no pressure. As you walk around the fascinating place, any and every employee has a smile and offer to help. We ordered a fountain and they installed it for us.
