I couldn't be happier with The Mailbox Post Man. Troy is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet and my new mailbox and post look great. Troy explained all the options and prices for me. I called him 3 times in one day with questions, but it didn't seem to bother him. He patiently answered all my questions and kept me informed of exactly when he'd be at my house for the installation. I briefly considered doing the work myself before I called The Mailbox Post man. But then I imagined myself going to the store to buy wood for the post, and cutting the wood, and buying a mailbox. And buying or renting a post hole digger. And going to the store for the wood stain... then going out in the cold and fighting with the frozen ground to dig the hole, level the post, stain the post, and get rid of the pile of dirt. That sounded like a ton of work. Troy called when he was an hour away. He installed the post and mailbox like it was nothing. Then he asked me to come outside and inspect it. It looked great. I have the nicest mailbox in my neighborhood now. You also can't beat the guarantee... if there's a problem with the product or workmanship (which I'm sure will never happen), Troy will come out and fix it for free! read more

We ordered a multi box post from The Mailbox Postman and could not be happier with our decision! We looked at some of the choices available from the local box stores and were not pleased with the selection or quality of products that were offered. Sherry was extremely helpful in the selection process of a custom post design including stain options. She provided a quick and detailed estimate for the project including installation. We were given a tentative date (weather dependent) for the installation and I was contacted by Troy the night before to confirm the installation details. Troy installed the new post, removed the existing one and did a great job taking care not to tear up the surrounding yard in the process. Troy kept in touch and sent photos of the completed project, we didn't even need to be home during installation... Sure there may be less expensive options available to replace your mailbox and post, but we feel our money was well spent with The Mailbox Post Man!!! read more

Living in our cozy shingle-style home, we realized our mailbox was pretty worn out and dull. The hunt for a new one led us to Troy after seeing that most mailboxes out there were either too plain or just the cheap, off-the-shelf kind. We hit Troy up with some ideas, and man, did he run with it! He kept us in the loop the whole time, and when he showed off the finished mailbox, my wife and I were blown away by the craftsmanship and quality he put into it. This is the second time I've worked with Troy. The first time he installed a new mailbox for us, and hung a planter box under our window. The planter box was outside his normal scope of work, and the install was tricky as we had stonework to contend with... but he was a trooper, got it done, and it looked great. This time we challenged him yet again and asked for a bit more than your standard mailbox and post. The project called for a new post design, that would require some creativity, imagination, and good old elbow grease to execute. Troy took the challenge and came up with a design that incorporated all 3 elements, and executed it beautifully! The finished product is truly unique and fits with the design of the house perfectly. Troy helped me out with a DIY project that I completed, but I was out of my depth to install. We spoke several times on the phone, and I also sent him a pic of my work to show him what I had gotten myself into. Troy had several ideas of how to ensure my double post would last once installed. He came out within a week of our first contact, made the modifications we had discussed and dug a deep double hole in 90 degree heat. The post is installed beautifully, and Troy appreciated my input on placement from curb and the overall height of the box. The job site was left clean an neat, and our old box was disposed of as well. Troy's service is not cheap, but he does a great job. Satified customer and will recommend to others! read more

If the price has you a little concerned, look past that because Troy does an OUTSTANDING job! I purchased the 4x6 Traditional post and had him sand,cedar stain and install brass numbers on it. Considering all the time and effort that went into it, I feel the value exceeds the price due to the craftsmanship and care of the install! Did I mention the install? ANOTHER 5 STARS! solid as a rock!!!! I purchased my own mailbox (Special Lite Products SCS-1014-CP Savannah Curbside Mailbox, Copper) and Troy installed it as well as adjusted the tension for the pull on the handle. If there were more stars to be awarded I would, hands down, give them to Mailbox Postman. I am VERY pleased with his work as you will be too :) read more

5 years ago Troy installed a snow shield which consisted of a post and a 1" thick piece of plywood to stop the snow thrown by the plow barreling down our road at 45mph from taking down our mailbox. Fast forward 2024 Thanksgiving eve something hit and splintered the plywood in half, sending the mailbox, now in pieces and the 4x4 post it was mounted on into the neighbors yard. The post Troy installed remains solidly planted. It did not budge. For now he's mounted a mailbox on that post. In spring Troy will install a new post and mailbox farther back from the road and that post he put in years ago will again become a snow shield. Thank you Troy for a quality installation. read more

He walked me through all of the options and gave me alternatives that would fit my budget. Sherry (Scheduler) got me on the books and setup with Julie to mark off the area for safety. I run a small Homeowners Association that has very particular neighborhood especially when it comes to the uniformity of our mailboxes. We do not allow big mouth billy bass mailboxes or other personalized ones. That being said, we have custom mailboxes that you cannot find off the shelf. Here is where Troy comes in.
