It is very hard to find this place, because the sign refers to an upholstery cleaning service. After wandering around I usually manage to find the place and post UPS and Fed Ex items. I'm still a fan, but have to lower my rating by a star for repeatedly finding them closed during their advertised open hours. If you are coming from any distance (like I do from Bushwick) you may want to call first. Unreliable and unprepared. I needed passport photos and wanted to support small business so I gave this place a try. Called on Saturday to confirm services and was told passport photos are only taken from 9:30am to 3pm, so since it was passed 3pm I would have to come the following day. I went out of my way the following day to support this small business and upon arrival was notified that, "they don't have the camera today to take photos." I was also notified that it if walk three blocks in the 90 degree heat, there's a Walgreens that can assist me. Moral of the story call at least twice prior to coming to ensure they will be able to provide services advertised. Or just don't waste your time, and instead, give your money the the already successful million dollar companies. read more

I have only been here twice. The first experience was nothing to speak of since I came for the notary and he/she wasn't in on that day. The second time, I called before I came to print some things I needed to apply for an apartment. On the phone, the woman told me that the internet would cost $1 for the first 15 minutes and that printing was $0.15 per page. When I got there, I printed 25 pages and was charged $13.50. It turns out that the woman on the phone either doesn't speak clearly or was deliberately misleading (hopefully the former), because the printing was actually $0.50 per page! Quite a big difference. Not cool. Beyond that, the woman doesn't seem cut out for customer service. She wasn't even remotely friendly. There was also a man there, but I wasn't sure if he was supposed to be working or if he was just her companion. Either way, I didn't get so much as a smile from either of them. However, the $1 internet is cool if you're in a pinch, and I suppose their other services might be of value to you. read more

It's convenient to have a place to get packages but not at all helpful if you are waiting outside 40 min after they are supposed to be open but no one has decided to show up to work. This happens a lot. And I've also rushed here to get a package after work and they've decided to close 30 min early. read more

The women was very unhelpful. She looked visibly miserable and acted like it to. After telling me incorrectly that dhl does not go to cambodia I actually called dhl from the store on my cell and was told they definitely do. When I told her this she rolled her eyes and refused to look into it any further. You know the odd feeling when I are waiting for someone to do something and they just aren't. It was ackward to say the least. As she was offering me no assistance I went to another mail place that confirmed the address no problem and shipped the item. Unfortunately because of the miserable customer service and attitude I will be taking my business elsewhere. I really hope the manager reads this because when u are greeted by an unhappy person it just sours your whole experience let alone when the person also doesn't actually want to do the job! Hours of operation were accurate and they stayed open until closing. They were very professional, pleasant, and affordable. Would definitely use their notary services again! Listed on google as the balloon room for some reason but the Mailroom Store was great! read more

You can not depend on this place. Their hours of business seem to be when they feel like showing up. After being promised that they would be open and that the notary would be there, we are now driving around Brooklyn to find a notary. In addition their custom service is terrible. read more

Went there once to ship something FedEx. HAD to be FedEx as USPS wouldn't deliver to the location. They took my $17... then sent the package via USPS anyway. I got the package back, went in again, and said it needed to be FedEx 2-day and... they sent it FedEx Ground, and it is now taking 5 days to get there, and won't arrive on time. I'm out $100 to send something to myself. This place is terrible. Lady was on the phone with a friend during the whole second visit, mumbled responses, and was clearly not paying the least bit of attention. Terrible experience, terrible operation. read more

Came here to print out a mailing slip after already calling the business beforehand to purchase a simple B&W print which I was told was 50¢. What the receptionist failed to mention was that it is 50¢ ONLY if you EMAIL it to the business. I even let her know when I arrived in person with my package packed and ready to go, that I would need to print out a slip, and STILL no mention that it needed to be printed through her. I went ahead and used the computer to self print and a man walks in with the same request to print out a single B&W print, however the receptionist immediately tells him to email it to her. Then when I was ready to check out, I was surprised to hear that I was being charged twice as much on top of the print I originally came for. Even when I reminded her that she told me over the phone that a print would be 50¢, with no mention that it needed to be completed through her, she quickly blamed me for not emailing her like the "gentleman" did earlier and for not seeing a sign that was hardly noticeable. This was a very rude experience and I did not appreciate the obvious difference in treatment. Horrible customer service. I will NOT be doing any business here. read more

this place is great! on such a hot summer day, the kind sales woman sent out a whole mess of faxes for me as she complimented me on the glow of my horrific sunburn. i will totally be back to sign up for the package service.. ups/usps/ect hates delivering packages to our apt and dealing with the post office is always a total disaster. read more

I have been meaning to write this review for a while now but just didnt get around to it. Earlier this year when my mom was staying with me she left her diabetic medicine behind enroute to florida. She lives in London so wasnt near her doctor and needed it shipped asap. it was a friday. I took it to mailroom and filled out the paperwork and paid the money and there you go, overnight shipping. Not so much. The next morning nothing. My mom gets worried. luckily by the grace of a kind pharmacist in Florida she was able to get something (I think through her doctor in UK, not sure but it wasn't from the package I sent!) I head back to the mailroom to find out there isnt overnight shipping on friday to Saturday. It gets there monday, after my mom has left for London. So not only was my mothers health in potential jeopardy, but I have also forked out extra money for the overnight that didnt get there till monday. Re my complaint to the lady who took the order, she got back to me once, heard my complaint then never called back when she said she would. I went in multiple times, heard nothing from the owner. The receipt I had didnt have the dollar amount I paid although the lady KNEW what happened cos she took the order! But she said she needed to see amount. HELLOOO! Benefit of the doubt when you KNOW you were in the wrong! Never saw my money or an apology. Just a bitter taste of the mailroom! read more

I have had private mail boxes for over a decade and have never delt with such rude and ignorant ppl. I was never notified of all the hidden fees. they seem to think they should get paid to breath in there and act like they HATE working there. Beware if u receive mail there they try to keep it hostage if ur not prepared to pay random fees and then want to charge u more for keeping it! like I ddnt know I had packages coming in November and was out of town and they wanted to charge me $3/lb for every day over 3 days even though I had no idea this was a policy no first time courtesies here! and then they get all bent out of shape if they have to open ur mailbox and say things like they are not allowed. And dont even try to be nice to them , they act like they're being victimized and abused by some invisible elf boss we can't see and who can't speak to customers or maybe they feel as though they run a mail prison and we'll think they're week if they smile! lol wish they weren't the only option cant stand dealing with these ppl who dont even have basic processing skills and definitely have no customer service skills WAK! read more
