Looking for a calm and cozy place for Thursday night drinks? Well you've found the spot! From shots of SirDavis to the amazing Blue Elevator, the drinks will have you loose and chatty. Comfortable couches, many photo-worthy areas, and cute decor can be found all around the space, and if you want a breath of fresh air head on upstairs to the rooftop deck! Enjoy your drinks and conversation with a nice view of the capital. Hungry? They got you! Try their sliders; they're bursting with flavor and come with seasoned fries.

The atmosphere of this bar are immaculate! It's so cozy and feels a little fancier but casual. The crowd is older (I'd say 30s and above) and my friends and are are mid 20s and below so we did feel a little out of place (we didn't stay long) but we did adore the drinks we got. I'm excited to go back and try more of their cocktails! The wings were alright, nothing crazy to write home about but they were $1 per wing so we decided to profit from the deal. If you're looking for a calm, cool place to grab some drinks, this would be a great option!

The ambiance here is super chill, the food is pretty good for a bar, and the bartenders are nice and fast

My husband and I tried this new and much needed spot out in downtown Baton Rouge! I can honestly say it was a breathe of fresh air! This spot is so chill and laid back, perfect for a Friday night date or link up with your friends. It honestly reminded me of restaurants I've been to in California. The decor is modern, cute, and edgy. There is just enough space and sitting for everyone, and to add a rooftop! We started our night downstairs at the bar and ordered two mango margaritas! There are plenty of premium cocktails to chose from, but maybe only one with tequila. Anyway we followed that drink with something off the cocktail menu. Then ordered the burger and fries, as well as the seafood egg rolls. Everything was good, although I would have liked the eggs roll to be a little crispier. After finishing our food, we headed upstairs to see the rooftop bar. One cool feature is that your balance is transferable, so no need to close your tab! It was Juneteenth weekend so there was a Rum Punch special upstairs. We weren't big fans of it though. We will definitely be back to try more of the cocktails and enjoy the vibes! One suggestion we have is to maybe allow the upstairs to be reserved. It's prime seating to sit outside unless the weather is horrible and you may not want to always wait for sitting to become available.

This is one of my favorite bars in Baton Rouge. The Main Lobby is the perfect place for a good drink with friends or even a date night. The drinks are delicious with a decent amount of alcohol. The atmosphere is unmatched! The music and decor fits perfectly with the theme of the bar. There are plush sofas and high top tables available to enjoy a nice drink and there are a few small bite options available as well. The rooftop provides a nice vibe when the weather is perfect. The staff is just as great as the drinks.

Main Lobby is always a good idea. We chose to sit outside on the rooftop and enjoy our drinks while looking at the old Capitol building. Good drinks and ambiance. Perfect for date night.

Jared's (the bartender) Spicenog is amazing!!! Ask him about it. Loved this vibe and the food is incredible. Must visit.

I love this place. It's always a vibe. The playlist is always good and the employees friendly. The drinks are made perfectly and the food is tasty. My only complaint is they are often out of a lot of food items but that doesn't deter me. The wings are soooo good no sauce needed. If you're in the area definetly check this place out.

The shots are sad and not good for the price

Overall, it wasn't enjoyable. For the price, the liquor pour is terrible; the manager isn't about making people comfortable and easy for them to enjoy the vibe. The bartender she was EXTREMELY NICE and so sweet. The guy manager just wasn't it, and he shouldn't be in a position where he can't make the client happy. The music was lame and not a vibe. The drinks are OVERPRICED He wasn't friendly or very inviting and underpoured on the drinks We spent north of 700-900$s as a group, and for that price, you'd expect stellar service and drink quality. I wouldn't recommend it at all. Save your money and go elsewhere

Visited here after performing in Mystique parade. Love the vibe here! The bathroom is so cute, I took pics. I got an old fashioned at it was perfect. The staff is super friendly and even offered to turn on the heaters for us when we went to the rooftop.

Bartender was nice. But everything was ridiculously overpriced for a market such as Baton Rouge. I'd take Hound Dogs any day of the week.

We were in a large alcove at the back of the restaurant. It was spacious and elegant, even with the table ended up being almost entirely filled. Our waiter was enthusiastic and patient with our large party. Refills and check-ins were timed well. The drink selection was pretty extensive. Food was delicious and all delivered within minutes of one another (no one was stuck waiting for long). Burger was cooked to perfection and not TOO hot. I hate when food is so hot in temperature that you can't take a bite. The chocolate cake was good, but the whip cream tasted kinda fake/oily. The cake itself was medium density and had a slightly salted finish. It paired perfectly with the frosting which was very rich and extra sweet. A delightful pairing. For my drink, plus a double shot of whiskey, the burger and dessert, it came to just over $100. That feels expensive. Take that as you will. I wouldn't return mostly due to price. But quality on everything was great, and so was the service. Atmosphere was great too.

Ambiance was good. -2 stars because we sat at the bar on a Friday night and the bartenders were very lackluster. Barely spoke to us. The place wasn't overly busy either. We tried to make conversation and it fell flat every time. We enjoy making small talk with bartenders that's why we chose to sit there. Not sure if it was an off night or what. The lounge section was also closed due to a private party. Understandable but we wanted to have an after dinner cocktail. Overall we'd go back and sit at a regular table.

When you read the reviews below, most people know what this restaurant is and how it works. My…read moreresponse is less harsh about the service or it's overpriced charcuterie board concept. I have lived in BR for 6 years now. Many departments at LSU take guests there and in that time, Building 5 has done nothing to improve its parking lot. The restaurant sits underneath an overpass and the parking is pothole marked unpaved gravel. This means that there is no room for wheelchairs or accommodations for anyone who is differently-abled to get into the restaurant. The whole restaurant makes no room for handicapped persons. On the occasion I did get food, the food is slightly overpriced. All meats were cooked adequately but the food was lukewarm probably owing to sitting in the kitchen under the heat lamp than being delivered promptly. When I have gone, I regularly have to ask for refills on soda as I am the designated driver often for department functions. Servers pay you no heed if you do not buy alcohol. Because I go here because of academic reasons, I would barely go here myself. I've been here many times and found it wanting. It's an ableist place in its infrastructure. It's fine I'm atmosphere as a cocktail bar but would little recommend it to people I call friend.

Both good choices. Overall, the wine pairing was okay. I like the appetizer pairing of a nice light, white bubbly prosecco. The second was a classic red wine to pair with a steak. Shout out to the server who was accommodating and swapped out that glass for what I requested. He didn't have to, but he did! The food was mouth watering delicious. We started off with the sauteed shrimp and the piquillo peppers. THANK GOD the piquillo peppers are a Solera regular. I will be getting them again. The shrimp were just okay, nothing out of this world. Second course was the filet with polenta. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavors that complimented each other well. Final course we had the rum bread pudding and the manchego cheesecake. The manchego cheese is definitely a rich and an acquiring flavor. Without the blueberry sauce, you would think its just a slab of cheese. The rum bread pudding was spectacular. I have never loved a rum sauce with my bread pudding, but the Solera one kept me wanting more.
