I haven't been to this mall in years and I have to say they really changed it up and added many stores and restaurants was very accessible and easy to walk around n travel

This is an indoor mall with plenty of stores to shop in. They also have plenty of other stores outside of this malls location. I would say it's an ok place to shop in. I prefer the malls near my area, because I don't really like to shop for indoor places. Although it does come in handy on a bad weather day such as the day we visited. Many food options, many stores, and some fun things to do with your family. I don't know if I would give it a thumbs up, but I would say if your in this area or live in this area, than thumbs up for you, because you have a decent mall to shop instead of traveling to the city.

Lots of parking (1800 spaces) but costs a flat $3 fee for the day. Bus stops are plenty, and the pay stations don't all work which was a pain. Ground floor parking isn't always clear which stores they are closest to by section, labeling could be better. Some stores aren't connected internally to the mall so that's a pain. Inside you have a theater, mall doors court, some restaurants and many stores. Escalators aren't placed well to flow, instead you have to double back periodically. Overall visited better laid out malls like Palisades.

If I would've had to base my review on Black Friday, it would be at four, because this place definitely seems a little bit chaotic, but what mall it isn't chaotic on Black Friday. The mall does have a vast selection of stores, and it's surprisingly well lit and well organized, especially when you consider the surrounding neighborhood. It seems to have a lot of bathrooms, and the people in the kiosks aren't as annoying as their counterparts in other stores. I always leave happy when I go here. Parking is fine too.

This mall was so needed they have everything in a perfect location. It's a great place to shop and eat. This is big for the Bronx having these shop all together is so convenient. They have all my favorites shops Aldo's. Bath and body works, champs sports, forever 21, h&m, gap , gnc, Macy's Jc penny's even a T-Mobile the list goes on. I think it's great to do your holiday shopping here and your every day shopping as well I didn't find it over crowded. They also have great restaurants for you get hungry afterwards. This is a nice "suburban shopping " experience in the Bronx lol. Is nice cause you can drive or take bus and not have to go all the way down town and avoid all that traffic. They also have WiFi and charging stations.

Terrible dangerous mall Empty stores everywhere Parking lot is dark and dangerous at night

I wouldn't say you have it all...

This mall should be called Mall of impulsive shoppers heaven. You can't comfortably walk anywhere without being harassed to by some sh't you don't want or need. It's like going to the bizzare markets where they penny handle you it's so annoying. I got lost and took another route to where I had to go just to be left alone!

Bay Plaza is one of my favorite Malls in Westchester New Rochelle! The sales are amazing, specially Black Friday, after the Thanksgiving, and Christmas Season. It's a shopping mall where you can spend the day with family or friends & then enjoy a great meal in any of the restaurants around or inside the mall perimeters.

This mall brings great value to the Bronx because we normally do not get nice things here. I visited recently and went shopping to buy some clothes for my daughter and found amazing deals. After shopping for a few hours. I went upstairs to the food court and there was a Kiosk that sold cupcakes called "CupcakeMe!". That's my favorite treat so I indulged a little by buying a dozen. I found out the owner also does custom cakes and will definitely buy a cake made by her. I will be back to this mall. The kiosk Cupcake Me! I referred to previously has their own storefront now in coop city section 5. Address is 169 Einstein Loop.

Wow, what an amazing addition to the Bronx! I was actually headed to Garden State Plaza, until I found out that it was closed and decided to check this one out!  I am glad I checked this mall out! It has a lot of different stores and a bunch of places to eat after some shopping exhaustion! HA! I loved it!

Beautiful cars in the middle of the mall.... all vintage convertibles

This mall is very different than what I remembered when I last went about 10 years ago. They have a full indoor mall and numerous stores in different strip-mall formations. They have all the chain stores in every other shopping mall in the five boroughs, but it's cleaner and newer. They even have a food court. If you're looking for larger restaurants, they have a Red Lobster, Olive Garden, Joe's Crab Shack and Red Robin. We found things at this mall that we couldn't find anywhere else in the city. It was a long drive but we will be back.

The variety of stores here is like a buffet for your wallet, offering a little something for everyone. I love visiting occasionally to shop and hang out with friends. It's a great spot to bond over spontaneous purchases and the eternal debate of whether we really need another pair of shoes. I used to be a regular here, practically a mall rat. But, you know, adulting happened. Still, every trip down these halls is a stroll down memory lane. Malls are like dinosaurs - magnificent, nostalgic, and unfortunately, a bit endangered. But I hope this one never goes extinct. It holds too many memories, and let's be real, where else am I going to find a place with such a perfectly balanced blend of capitalism and camaraderie in the five boroughs?

They had some nice stores from children place ,to Carter's children clothing store that I I shop at on a regular basis for my son. They also had a marshalls store that didn't have to much inside, for a there kind of store. I noticed there was a modells right there also but they were shut down. That was a little disappointing because I like shopping at moe's.it was still early in the morning and the gamestop store was not open yet. I also got a chance to check out, the little Halloween party store, which was pretty cool.right next to them I noticed a bed bath and beyond .And a Macy's stage store that was on the strip. Now when it was time to eat this little shopping center had a few nice places.me and family went in side a pizzeria called lavarone Italian kitchen pizzeria. Which you can dine in with social distancing. I ordered a barbecue chicken slice my wife got the pasta. And the food was pretty good the restaurant was pretty busy, and the staff was nice and courteous to me and my family. The bill wasn't bad at all I thought it would have been more.this was the first time in almost a year that me and my wife were able to dine in a restaurant, since the whole coronavirus situation. we also went to this nice sushi restaurant on the strip.they made some really good chicken fried rice at this place called mikawa Japanese restaurant. I also was over near there shake shack & bagel boss shop. Plus dont forget about the parking lot ,which is a pretty nice size. So I would have to admit this is definitely a nice little shopping area ,that gives you a little mall kinda feel.cause it seems to be very busy over there. Plus out in long island, you have inside dining, not like in the city were there is only outside dining. The shopping center gets alot of business at there restaurants from the hospital staff that is just right across the street.

As a Flatbush native elder millennial I grew up going to Kings Plaza and it's a very weird thing to…read moredescribe to people who aren't familiar with its quirks. If you're expecting a huge mall with like in the burbs you're very likely to be disappointed. Kings Plaza has always had the DNA of a hood mall, and while it's never quite been an Albee Square in its heyday situation (iykyk), it's not super high end. It had its hidden gems though most have gone downhill (the Cookie House fell off as soon as they moved from the og kiosk to the actual store). Brick and mortar retail is struggling and this place is a great example. In recent years they have tried to get more upmarket and bring in better retailers, reflecting the rapidly gentrifying nature of Brooklyn as a whole. A series of renovations have made it more open and airy and it's looking way better than the dark and claustrophobic labyrinth it once was. But that hood DNA is still in it. Primark as an anchor is just a British version of Burlington Coat Factory if I'm honest. Sometimes you can find good stuff in there, but it's like treasure hunting, and like most big chain stores in this mall, it's a bit chaotic and understaffed compared to other locations. Selection is an issue at times with stores here because they're usually smaller than other locations. Like the Sephora is limited compared to its other Brooklyn stores. If you're trying to get popular staple brands you're probably fine, but more niche products or lines you're probably SOL. Similarly the Ulta location while very welcome is smaller and lacks variety of bigger ones. Even the Target is one of the smaller footprint stores and you're honestly better off hopping on the B41 bus outside and heading to the one at the Junction. The rowdy teen problem is very real though, and it's been an issue here for as long as I can remember. I worked summer jobs at Sears back when it was still the big anchor 30 years ago and remember a wilding incident where a huge bunch of teens came in stealing and running out. Closing the movie theater solved a lot of the issues (though I do miss ratchet talking at the screen lol) but not all of them, and TikTok makes it easier for bad actors to organize this type of foolishness. I do feel for kids because they really lack third spaces to hang out safely, like we haf as 90s teens. But they were doing this crap even back then. Security tries but like I said it's been decades of this type of behavior. And it's honestly what is holding Kings Plaza back, sadly. I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for this mall and I want it to be great but it keeps popping up in the local news for all the wrong reasons. Contrasting with the huge Albee Square to CityPoint transformation is crazy. But Marine Park and southern Brooklyn in general is just never going to gentrify the way Downtown Brooklyn did because it's too far from Manhattan and this area is a transit desert despite the mall being a major bus hub. Taken for what it is, it's a decent place to do pickups of online orders or browse for very basic things if you have patience. Just avoid it like the plague during after school hours.

Parking at Kings Plaza is a mess You can only pay by credit card and you need your phone. Even in…read moreSeattle you can pay by cash. If you can you are better off going to a mall that doesn't charge which is basically everyone else. They are trying to improve the store and options but parking negates that.
