Doing my hair is a process, it's a combination of magenta and black but my roots have to be dyed first. It's not a quick process. But from the first time she did my hair it's been amazing. Jessica was able to squeeze me in for a noon haircut! Environment was clean and friendly. Jessica was organized, station was clean, and equipment was quiet and smooth. She was extremely attentive, listened to my requests and followed each one perfectly! She took her time and within a very reasonable timeline provided me the haircut I requested (I was on an 60 minute lunch break). Friendly, easy to hold a conversation with. Which in my case isn't essential to me personally, but made the experience even more enjoyable. Rate was reasonable for someone of her talent, so no complaints there. Although 3% credit card charge, vemo users could save that additional cost. I was fine with and understood the 3% charge so no issues there. No pressure or request to leave a review. She made sure the haircut was as requested, and made sure after washing my hair I had no hair itching me to death when I returned back to work. (MUCH appreciated) Attention to detail is on point. The Mane Gallery is a wonderful salon. I have been going here over 10 years. My stylist is Christina, she is the best! She listens to your requests and gives you recommendations. She is very highly experienced and is extremely knowledgeable. I started with wanting a complete full head of sharp red, then moved to a beautiful blonde A-line, to long hair with blonde highlights, to now an awesome burgundy! She does a fantastic job always; I walk out of the salon always a happy girl! If your request is do-able she can do it. The price is very affordable, and reasonable. She is very accommodating with appointments, if you have an emergency and need to get it somehow things just happen. At the salon everyone is very polite, well-mannered and very helpful even if you are not there client. It is very rare that you see this at any salon. I use to go to this other salon and they always try to change my mind and I end up walking out with very damaged hair and sometimes-orange hair (when I wanted blond)! I have been searching for yeaarrrss for a good salon and I've finally found it! I have very thick curly hair and I usually get it cut in layers. My hair was down to my waist but wanted to change things up. My sister-in-law recommended Candice. Went in asking for my hair to be cut short about shoulder length if not shorter with layers but still be able to put up in a bun. Candice exceeded my expectations and was beyond happy with my hair. Probably the best Supercuts haircut I've had...if I went to Supercuts instead. I don't get my hair cut for like two years at a time because I can never find a stylist who can do anything right with my hair and this was no different. I spent an hour in a chair just to have my hair washed, trimmed, and straightened and spent $60 for it when I could have had the same quality service at Supercuts for way less. I was hoping for some actual style to be applied to my hair and asked for the stylist to do something different to my hair and explained all my troubled areas. When I washed it, it looked no different than how it was when I went in so I won't be coming back. Thanks for the product recommendation though! I do really like the heat protector. read more

I haven't been going to Jessica for that long but she has done amazing things to my hair. When I first went to her I had a nasty red/Orange color in my hair that I hated. I wanted to go blonde but I knew it was going to be a long process. 8 months later I'm finally to the blonde I want!! Jessica is the only person I trust with my hair. So I decided to get my hair a balayage but with baby highlights and so I gave the lady the picture of what I wanted and so when she was " done " it looked yellow and my whole head was blonde which was not what I wanted so I asked the hair stylist Christy if she could make it less yellow so she gave me another "toner"and it made it this light orange with blonde highlight and it had some green in it so recently when I went to get it fixed my new hair stylist noticed that she had put a permanent hair color instead of just a toner in my hair so now it's harder for me to go blonde she also advised me that the way she did my hair was hand done and wasn't professional I really wish I would've never gone to the mane gallery it was a huge waist of my money (195$). I highly recommend if you want any of the more modern hair colors like a balayage or highlights or something along those lines don't go here go somewhere like Vanity hair salon it's the same pricing and they do it so good at Vanity in downtown concord read more

I used to go to Regis Hair Salon in Sun Valley Mall, but when my stylist moved to The Mane Gallery, I had to follow her. Chase is great! I've been getting cuts and colors with her for a year and a half, and I can honestly say that I've finally found my hairstylist. I always get a little worried before I get anything done, but she definitely knows what she's doing when it comes to coloring hair. Also a great thing about her is that she interacts with her clients. There's never a dull moment with Chase. I usually have 3 hour long appointments, so it's great that she can keep the conversation going. I've had many appointments with other hairstylists that stay quiet and just work on my hair. Those were never fun, so thank you Chase for everything you do! *Here's a tip: Chase has specials/promotions every month! In January, it was come in for a color and get a cut for free! I got highlights done and a cut for only $80. February's promotions are schedule multiple services and get 50% off (e.g. schedule a color, and get 50% off a hair cut), or bring a friend and get 50% off one service. In terms of location, I do prefer The Mane Gallery over Regis. There's a parking garage conveniently located behind the hair studio, versus having to try to find parking at the mall, especially during the holidays. read more
