I found this little gem doing a Google search. I live over 30 mins away but I make the trek to see Trina the owner. She's a very talented stylist with next level scissor skills! I have thick hair which I like to keep to a short long layer Bob. I showed her a few photos and she was able to transform it into a sleek and easy to maintain cut. All the while we talked about her hobby of growing all sorts of fruit trees! She's a woman of many talents! This is our local haircut place. Pretty reasonable costs and when I have come in previously on weekday late afternoons, I have waited no more than a few minutes. I probably should make an appointment but I always decide at the last minute, I know they do all sorts of haircuts and also do various other hair treatments. Parking can be a little challenging with the gym a few doors down, but you can usually find parking somewhere in the lot. Trina was absolutely excellent. She did her best to cut my hair like the picture I showed her. When it wasn't quite working she was able to adapt it to suit me better and did adjustments as we went. I love her sweet personality and patience. Also got to see her stand her ground and handle a rude customer before my appointment. I ended up here after my stylist cancelled on me at the last minute. I had not had a haircut since the shutdown and I desperately needed a cut. Anna and Trina were amazing! I received a great haircut, hot oil treatment, and an eyebrow wax for a quarter of the price that I have been paying at the WC salon I normally go to. The rudest ! I asked for my son to get blonde highlights. The woman walked out and said I can't do that, his hair is too short. He has about an inch and half on the top of his head. I said instead of the cap technique can you do foil or brush streak it ? She messed with the cap for a few minutes, rolled her eyes. I told her cut the cap smaller to it's tighter. At this point I realized that this woman did not want to do his hair and it was going to a horrible experience. I told her I could do a better job at home. The old man in the stall next her started to mumble something and I told him from the second we walked in she didn't want to do his hair. The welcome was rude and it was obvious she didn't want to do my sons hair why because he doesn't have long hair? There are plenty of your men with short hair with highlights. For $65 - I can take him somewhere professional. The pictures here have men with short hair and blonde highlights- this isn't a ridiculous request, especial when your window is painted "highlights and coloring" huge on the front. read more

I really like my hair cut! I haven't had a hair cut in two years because I really got tired of it getting messed up by stylists. I tried so many places and never found anyone to cut my hair the way I like it. I have curly brown hair so it's a little tricky. But not at Le Cuts! In addition to my previous 5 star review for a great cut, I'd like to add compliments for their handling of the COVID19 risk. Le Cuts did MORE than they are required to do. Stylists wore masks, even two in N95 masks, plus FULL face shields. They had six(!) signs outside with rules and explanations of their sanitation measures, and of course the door was wide open. Between cuts, each chair was sanitized along with any tools used. Everybody gets a squirt of hand sanitizer on the way in and if you want to buy product, they touch it, not you. When you leave, you sign a list of that day's clients and phone numbers in case contact tracing is needed. Obviously haircuts are not completely without risk but Le Cuts did everything and more to keep both themselves and their clients safe. Impressive! read more

I would agree with the other reviewers, this is a great place for a great cut at a good price! I don't know why I didn't try them earlier - it's closer and less expensive than where I'd been going. I had my youngest son's first cut here, and they even saved a lock of his hair for me. Great cuts - I've taken my sons to pricer "kids cuts" type places (in Lafayette or Pleasant Hill) and wasn't as happy. My husband, myself and my 2 sons get haircuts here, and they are great. 2 of us have curly hair (me and 1 son) and 2 have straight hair, and we are always happy with the cut. We don't make an appointment, we just drop by. Never too long of a wait (weekends seem busier, but there's a Starbucks in the shopping center, so you can put your name in and go grab a coffee while you're waiting). Next to a nail place, if you want one stop shopping for a beauty day. I don't know the name of the stylist we've had, either lady I've seen there have been great. Friendly and nice. read more

If you don't feel like reading the whole review, I recommend this salon for men's haircuts. They have plenty of parking if that's a concern for you. There is also a Starbucks in the shopping center if you do have some time to kill. **Other reviews say make an appointment. I made an appointment just to make sure I didn't have to wait too long but I ended up not needing one because they were not busy on that Sunday afternoon** I'm in the process of growing my hair out and after a few months, I needed a clean up with the sides of my head. I didn't get the name of who cut my hair but she did a great job sectioning off the appropriate hair: I've always been told I have thick hair that grows how it wants so that's a huge plus for me having "micromanage" which hairs stay or go In about 20 minutes I was finished and paid $20 with tip included. read more

I came in for a simple blow out style. I had plans to go out later that night because it was my birthday. Apparently the ladies that work here had no idea what a "blow out" meant. The lady that worked on me went on to curl the ends of my hair and spray a ton of hairspray. I stopped her a few times to let her know that this wasn't what I wanted but she kept doing it her way. She wasn't trying to understand what I wanted, she even seemed irritated towards the end. This salon definitely lost a customer. I was so skeptical to come here, since I have a regular hair stylist in San Francisco that knows exactly how to cut my hair. But in a search for a potential closer place to try out and less expensive, I found this place. I read some reviews and thought okay, I can't go wrong with $16. But then everything I was afraid of happening, DID happen. The older Asian lady I got was horrible! I told her that I wanted a V-layered cut, but she kept telling me to get a U-layered cut. Whatever happened to getting what you want? Plus all her small talk was distracting. Note to everyone: I have never been to a hair-cutting salon where they are so sloppy. The first cut she did, she used a BUZZ CUTTER to cut the length of my hair off! I WAS HORRIFIED when this happened. She clipped it like I was some animal in need of a trim. As she was getting to my layers, she basically cut it in two layers. She was also bragging that she created all this volume at the bottom of my hair. What I wanted was volume at the top. When she was done, I was so disappointed. She didn't seem to care whether I liked it or not either. She never asked me if I liked it or not. The way she cut hair, I've never seen it done that way before. How did she get a job here? I didn't seem like she had any formal training whatsoever. When it was over, I was pretty upset that I had to give $18, which included a $2 tip. When I got home, I had my sister fix everything which practically saved what the woman did to my hair. My advice: Unless you are getting a bowl and buzzed haircut, do not come here! read more
