Anyways, the salon is a quaint little spot that isn't trying to be anything but a hair salon. Nothing pretentious! I really appreciate that part of the salon. The owner is Dottie, who also is one of the 2 stylists, and the other stylist is Jessica. I've been seeing Jessica for 2 years now and not once has she given me a bad cut, color, or style. She is no nonsense and absolutely appreciates your time being in her chair. I have never felt rushed in her chair, and I really feel like she listens to what suggestions I have and then she always offers me feedback that is realistic to my hair type. One thing that I really appreciate about Jessica is that she does not constantly chat in your ear. She appreciates silence and it doesn't make her uncomfortable. She doesn't try to fill the silence with empty conversation. However, with that in mind, she is absolutely a pleasant and intriguing person to have a conversation with! She just doesn't force it on you. The products sold in the salon are Tigi, Paul Mitchell, Aquage, and a few others I can't think of. I never feel pressure to buy the retail products, but she is very helpful when I have questions regarding what products do work best for my hair.
