It's cool with the additional market. Lots of indie type vendors and a good space along with tables and chairs too for hanging out and eating. The Auk Market also has a bar in the back of it which is pretty cool and retro modern like. Here they have fun little vintage funky items and cool stuff for gifts or yourself. It's a cool spot and they do have markets often. So def check them out!

I believe that the shop is owned and run by a mother/daughter duo. However, if there are other staff working in the shop they're totally unknown. I've been shopping here since they opened but the shop always seems understaffed. When the owner is in she is attentive to her customers but that's about it. Many times I've gone in and no one has been at the counter instead people have been at the tables in the rear room talking and chatting. However, you don't know who works there. The last time I went in, Sunday, October 17, no one even acknowledged that I was there. I walked the store several times looking for something in particular but since I wasn't sure who it was that was working in the shop and who was a customer I didn't ask for any help. That seems to be the constant in the shop. It's great that they're so friendly if you are friends with the staff because otherwise...who knows. I haven't taken any of their classes. I don't think they have a great deal of variety for settings or findings, but they have a lovely selection of beads. Prices are a tad bit higher than across the street at Gifts of Avalon but they are a good balance to Gifts of Avalon. They carry similar beads, some of the same, but they have a bunch of items that aren't the same which is nice to create variety in Gainesville.
