The skis have never been used and are still in new condition. Despite this, the shop refused any exchange or store credit. This was a sizing issue for a child's gift, not wear or damage, and I was surprised by how inflexible and dismissive the response was. An exchange or store credit would have completely resolved this. Instead, we're left with brand-new skis that my daughter can't use. Parents should be very cautious when buying kids' gear here--if it doesn't fit, even unused, you may be stuck with it. Steve worked with me in person and over email to make sure I got exactly the framed map I was looking for. Him and I went back and forth with options and at the end of the day, had to specifically customize a map that now gets compliments and questions from everyone who sees it. Besides a focus on mystery and thrillers, they really had most genres covered. Most of the books here ... and they claim tens of thousands of books ... are used, and are generally on consignment from somebody. So quality varies, and you might find two copies of something in very different conditions and at matching price points. That being said, the selection was exceptional and well worth investigating. The Book Rack had an especially large selection of kids books ... which was great for us. The only downside of some of these large holdings is that they aren't all classified and organized. Sometimes a certain genre will just be stacked in crates or boxes ... but don't let that dissuade you. There are treasures to be found here. I brought two books on house plants and planting in containers. I couldn't find any pies making or pound cakes baking books that were on my list but I emailed them to today to ask if any of these are available. They replied right away.
