DO NOT BUY FROM THEM If I could give zero stars I would. We flip 5-7 homes at a time and wanted to love using Rock Counter but it's been an awful experience. The "experienced designer" overlooked the fact that appliances are to be accounted for in a KITCHEN floor plan. Apparently she forgot that & my contractor didn't catch it because he's not a kitchen designer. This cost me over $3k to take out a load bearing wall to account for this mistake and pushed my project back. We have been missing some items such as toe kicks and the skin for our fridge. Now this is the last straw. This is how they sent our cabinets and insist it's not drawn on with marker. They refuse to allow any returns to get our money back. DON'T SHOP HERE! Save your sanity and hard earned money. We spent thousands on these and can't get our money back.

All these 5 star reviews are for a reason!! The work is top notch (I was stunned to find that they had been able to cut my gigantic L-shape section as ONE PIECE--couldn't believe it!), on time, and highly professional and courteous. They protected all my floors so well, draping from the front door all the way through to the kitchen, and kept everything super clean so I didn't have to deal with a mess after they left. But after many unanswered emails and phone calls to them, we became frustrated and decided to look for another company. I did a Yelp search and sent messages to 5 different businesses. Dejan was the first person to respond (7 minutes after I sent the initial message - talk about responsive!!!) I can confidently say that DK Stone's prices are the best in the market after comparing them amongst the other 4 competitors. The best part is that everyone else had told me that I would need to buy at least 2 slabs for the dimensions of our countertop. I asked Dejan how many slabs we would need and he said ONE SLAB for both island countertop and stovetop countertop!! He was able to calculate a configuration that would get everything done with minimal waste - this was huge in terms of cost. He had his guys come out to measure 5 days later and the counter tops were installed a couple of weeks after that. Everything was perfect, they were so efficient. Okay so now you have an idea of their work but what about service? Someone had accidentally taken our garbage disposal ring when they were cleaning up after the job so we couldn't get the disposal installed - we reached out to Dejan and he had someone drop it off. He could have easily ghosted us since the job was done but he was still just as responsive. We seriously cannot recommend DK Stone enough - we are so impressed and after being let down by so many other companies this was the breath of fresh air we needed.

Quick literally his tone of voice makes you feel like he's doing you a favor by getting you on the calendar. I ordered a kitchen from @HomeDepot and they use Absolute. They pay Absolute to confirm all the pieces are in and correct. Their installer didn't properly check the color of all the pieces and missed that a cabinet skin was blue, not gray. It stayed wrapped up until other cabinets that were damaged were reordered were in. Yet to get then to get to my property is almost impossible (for a 20 minute job). I've got flights booked across the country to be there and they can't squeeze me in 2 days later -- even though on another time they hired an outsourced contractor (who were better!) to come do the second install with the cabinet (when he realized the skin was the wrong color). He still installed it so that it would have the finished look and so that I could capture the photos of the mistake. That first installer also tossed my moulding. The lack of attention to detail has delayed this kitchen for literally months. Stay away and use another contractor. Absolute is all around the country and too big, and you really don't want to deal with Eric.

We have never been so impressed with a company as we are with GMD Surfaces. They called to set the measurement appointment. The man came out right on time. Did his work and even took time to answer my questions. Within two weeks GMD called back to set the installation date. Two men came out and within 35 minutes the countertop was installed, grouted, and all debris removed. The countertop is beautiful and sets off the bathroom perfectly.
