DO NOT BUY FROM THEM If I could give zero stars I would. We flip 5-7 homes at a time and wanted to love using Rock Counter but it's been an awful experience. The "experienced designer" overlooked the fact that appliances are to be accounted for in a KITCHEN floor plan. Apparently she forgot that & my contractor didn't catch it because he's not a kitchen designer. This cost me over $3k to take out a load bearing wall to account for this mistake and pushed my project back. We have been missing some items such as toe kicks and the skin for our fridge. Now this is the last straw. This is how they sent our cabinets and insist it's not drawn on with marker. They refuse to allow any returns to get our money back. DON'T SHOP HERE! Save your sanity and hard earned money. We spent thousands on these and can't get our money back. read more

I started looking for cabinets in Oct with my sales person Victoria. After paying and being given recommended installers (they don't install) we saw damage. We reached out to our sales person and was assured it would be repaired. It's now April and I finally got connected to the manger Rich. Our resolution was they gave us a skrib strip to fix it ourselves. I was told I mis-understood their services. Completely uncaring. Beware when working with this company, things aren't ' always clear. You may misunderstand their services. Being a handyman for installation may help as well. read more

She was very patient and helpful when it came time to choose cabinets, countertop and hardware. The prices are competitive, if not better than the competition. We ordered our quartz kitchen counters from Rock counter and couldn't be happier. Kerim is extremely helpful and knows his products. When we fell in love with a marble looking sample from an overpriced brand, he directed us to a different manufacturer with a similar style (which he didn't have a sample of) that was within our budget. In addition to that, they didn't blink an eye when we encountered a 7 month delay with our remodel project. They stored the slabs we had purchased and waited patiently while we fought with Schillings to fix our floors. We are now going back to Rock Counter for our bathroom vanity counters and very likely our master vanity itself. Highly recommend Rock Counter! read more

I am currently remodeling my kitchen and have been in search for a company like this. By far the fastest service in providing a kitchen layout with plenty of options, pricing you cannot beat any where else, and a lead time of 2 weeks... Kitchen is almost comeplete and thought everything would turn out great... But I had to rewrite my review... Disappointed overall.. Kitchen countertops were chosen initially with cut outs laid out, but when changes were made from 1/2" slab backsplash to 3/4" slabs, there was no supervision or revisions sent for approval. Everything is paid for and there is nothing they can do. They have no eye for detail. So if you choose to use them, make sure you cross all your T's and dot all your I's before your pay them because you can not trust them do it for you. read more

Stay far away from this business. After paying in full and given a delivery date with installation scheduled for the next day we received our shipment with one cabinet missing. Rick the manager's answer was that he could send out a smaller cabinet and use a filler. I accepted the smaller cabinet just to get the kitchen done. They should have not taken my money if they could not provide the complete ordered cabinets. Rock Counter "suggested" a third party installer who they use all the time and as it turned out after paying the installer extra to remove and replace the appliances they messed up the microwave screws so we had to order new ones from General Electric. After signing and initialling all the paperwork from Rock Counter they "hide" behind their paperwork if you try to make a claim! Rock Counter will do anything to not have to deal with past customers after they get your money! read more

Unfortunately our sales rep was Emily. She doesn't follow through on calls or when there issues. The contractor they used to install my counter let a huge scratch and indent in my dishwasher back in February. Emily won't call you back or answer any emails. The only person that did help was Becky. Becky should be getting Emily's commission for my countertop. The company that Rock Counter contracted out only sent 2 people do bring in the huge slabs of quartz. Now it's September and I still don't have a replacement dishwasher door like I was promised. This is beyond frustrating on the August 18 was the last communication. It stated they have my door ordered and once they get a tracking number it will be emailed to me. This has been the worst experience dealing with a business. Steer clear of this place shop around there are many others place to go through. Sometimes paying a little extra for no headache is well worth it. read more

This review was written by my husband: Stay far, far away from this place. I'm retired with 40+ years in the construction trades. My wife and I live in a home that I built with my own two hands 27 years ago, so I've been around the block a few times so to speak. Even though our original laminate kitchen countertops are still in perfect condition, I thought I would give my wife a great Christmas surprise by upgrading them to quartz which is something she has wanted for a long time. Of course when I sprung the news, she was ecstatic. So we began deciding on what color and type of quartz we would go with. We looked around online at different choices and soon decided what we wanted. A week before Christmas we went to Rock Counter in Schererville, IN. Upon entering the store, we were impressed by their showroom which gave us a good feeling. I already drew a very detailed and accurate computer layout of what we needed and had the drawing with me. We spoke with a salesman for about 30 minutes and chose the quartz that we wanted. Because the salesman had my detailed drawing showing EXACTLY what we needed, it was easy for him to work up a quote, or so I thought. We agreed on the price and put down $100 so they could come to our home and measure the tops. Due to the holidays, they could not come out until Jan 4 which was fine with us. An employee arrived on Jan 4 as planned and measured the tops, (which were exactly as I had drawn) and told us it would be sometime the next day when we would hear from the office with a definite quote, so far so good. The next day came and we waited for a call that never came. The following day I called them to see if there was a problem and low and behold, they blew the original quote due to forgetting to add the labor for fabrication and installation, to the tune of 2K, yes $2000! As you can imagine, I was a bit upset to say the least. We cordially went back and forth and they ended up offering "wholesale" price which reduced the 2K increase to $1600, still a lot of money. We agreed to that and went back to the store to draw up the final contract. We then signed it and paid in full for the countertops. The installation date was set for the following week. Three days before our installation date, they called me with totally unbelievable news. They said the fabricator informed them that our tops would need two slabs of the quartz to make them and the quote they gave me, (which was already paid in full) was based on one slab and now it would be an additional $3300. Now I'm a patient guy but my patience was long gone by this point. To make matters worse, I already had our existing countertops torn out. I drove to the store and what ensued was even more unbelievable. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. He told us our contract was null and void because we only paid for one slab of quartz. Now mind you, it is NOT the customer's job to figure out how many slabs of material it is going to take to make the tops required in the drawing! That is SOLELY on them to determine the amount of material it will take to fabricate the job, PERIOD! This was supposed to be a fun and exciting time for my wife and they now had her in tears, despicable to say the least. I got a full refund and left the store. As I said at the beginning, do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place. read more

We couldn't be happier with the team from Rock Counter in Schererville, IN. Kerim was amazing! He created our kitchen and bath design with us and helped pick out the cabinets, quartz counters and beautiful hardware. Everything was delivered on time. The quality is great and the quartz fit perfectly and is STUNNING with our gray and white cabinets! We did have a few issues with two cabinets but they quickly came out, replaced the one and repaired the other. Then, when our general contractor quit he stepped in and gave us options so we could complete the project before our move in date. read more

I have to admit when we first met at Rick Counter we were impressed and happy with the overall quality of the cabinets. My daughter order an entire kitchen (25 cabinets) for kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Then came the install (account was paid in full of course) and 3 of the kitchen cabinets were a totally different color then the other. Also the custom bathroom cabinet was ordered incorrectly. One week later we received "1" corrected kitchen cabinet (just to let you know they delivered the counter tops but they are NOT secured) and 1 month later still have not received the last kitchen cabinet which we were told are stock cabinets nor have we received the bathroom cabinet. We have tried almost daily to get someone to answer our questions and NOBODY will call us back. Not happy with the customer service. read more

Was shopping around for cheap in stock cabinets, not picky on style just wanted best price. Was told I'd get the best price possible. Paid $100 for cabinet measure for them to come back the highest price because they did not inform me there was a $20 building fee PER CABINET + a $200 MANDATORY delivery fee + a 2 week waiting time. Wasted my $100 and bought from somewhere else. Decided to pay another $100 for them to measure countertop because they assured me there was no hidden fees like building fees and delivery fees. Decided to purchase my countertop from them, but they would not give me my $100 deposit for measuring back because they told me they only give that back if I purchase more than 40 sq ft of countertop, and I was only purchasing 30 sq ft. They did not disclose this to me and I feel as if they are lying to me just to keep my money. Very disappointed with my experience, I will not be recommending nor purchasing from again. You can tell they work on commission. read more
