I would like to address what a reviewer recently said about this location because I think they left…read morean unfair review with lots of hyperbole. This gym does not cost $100 per month. As shown on their individual location page, the highest tier membership is $64.99. There are cheaper memberships depending on what membership you sign up for. It is not overly packed during the times that I go, usually around 6:30pm on weekdays and sometimes Sunday evenings. I generally count 8-10 people at most and have never had to wait for a machine or equipment. The only humidity you experience is in one of the bathrooms if someone previously took a shower. However, they leave the door open to promote airflow. As far as I am aware, there is airflow and I have not once felt uncomfortable there. Judging from a majority of reviews, many people like and in fact, love this gym. It will not anger you, unless you are quick to get angry over things. It sounds to me that the real cause of this low review was being charged an amount that they did not agree with, and possibly missing important details when signing up. This could have been resolved with a phone call, instead of a poor review. I would urge you, dear reader, to approach negative reviews like this with caution. Understand that the employees here care, it is not a crowded gym or humid in any manner, and Trent is there to help you out when needed. There is no pressure to join if you sign up for a free trial either.

Five years later, I married Colin--a fellow iron warehouse weightlifter. Now we have a baby, and I'm trying to find time to get back to the gym. Even though we live in Castro Valley, we try to find time to go to Iron Warehouse because it's worth it for the community. Leo does an amazing job of uplifting people that want to get into shape--and stay in shape! Truly, he creates a community in this little garage gym. It's the kind of place where people wave hello to each other as they arrive. You get out what you put in. Get ready to sweat. :)

I was able to have a consultation with him to discuss my current abilities/limitations and my goals, and he designed a personalized program for me to achieve success. His credentials are on full display through his extensive knowledge on proper form, mechanics, and motion of the body. He is not intimidating, but will motivate you to give 110%. Also, his payment plans are reasonable and won't burn a hole in your wallet. Michael pushes me to be the best I can be and I have no doubt that with his support I will be able to exceed my goals. I am a big fan of the open layout here. I don't feel cramped at all and feel completely comfortable/confident with the space they provide. They also have an abundance of equipment/tools for you to not only accomplish your own fitness goals, but to explore new ones as well. There are plenty of amenities and programs they offer for your to explore; however, I have yet to experience them so my review is limited in that regard. Ultimately, this is is a wonderful facility to repeatedly lift heavy things and put them back down, and I recommend you come check it out.

Community is humble, passionate and about the right size (not too big feeling crowded or not too small). I have gradually improved in all dimensions - strength, cardio, flexibility, technique and mindset/mentality. 5 stars! Highly recommend. You have various options (CrossFit, bootcamp, powerlifting, Olympic weightlifting etc) to chose from depending on interest and where you are at in your fitness journey.

I had no background in CrossFit or weightlifting and felt completely new to it all, but they explained the basics clearly, kept things motivating, and often stepped in to correct form so we built the right foundation. That gave me confidence and made the classes something I looked forward to instead of dreaded. Over time, I enjoyed Boot Camp so much that I moved into CrossFit. I'm still a beginner in CrossFit and probably will be for a while but my weight loss has accelerated since making the switch, and I've started feeling stronger, healthier, and more positive overall. So far, I've had classes with seven different coaches plus Brad, the owner, and every one of them has been dedicated, approachable, and engaged. Each coach has their own style, which makes it fun you pick up something new in every session. Brad himself is humble and very committed to building the kind of community that makes people want to keep coming back. The best part of this gym is the great community of coaches n people. It's full of people who push themselves, encourage each other, and make the hard work enjoyable. If you're looking for a place that challenges you but also supports you, CrossFit One World is it. Joining here has been one of the best decisions for my health and well-being.

The only thing is the loud music inside sometimes -- though i love the music that they play, but makes it kinda sorta hard for me to listen to my own even with full blast volume with my headphones. But overall, I love it here! I've brought a few friends and would keep recommending it to any woman looking for an empowering place to workout

I've been going to this gym for a few months , and just cancelled my membership. The whole reason I…read morejoined was because of how they promote themselves on social media. They make it seem like such a welcoming, supportive, safe space for girls, but my experience has been the complete opposite. Almost every interaction I've had with the staff has been rude, unprofessional, and uncomfortable for absolutely no reason. The girls that work there constantly have attitudes, act bothered when you ask questions, and are honestly just very unhelpful. There was even a time I asked for help using a machine because I genuinely didn't know how to use it, and the staff member got visibly annoyed even though she was literally just sitting on her phone doing nothing. That's honestly what most of them do every time I go in sit around on their phones but then act irritated when members need help. It's disappointing because I really wanted this to be a gym where I felt comfortable. I don't always feel comfortable at regular gyms, which is why I was excited about an all girls gym in the first place. But somehow I've felt more welcomed and comfortable at regular gyms than I ever have here, which is honestly sad considering what this place claims to stand for. If you're looking for a supportive "girls support girls" environment, this is probably not the place. Super disappointing experience overall.
