However, every other full body massage I've had had a point where they turned me over so they could massage my neck, shoulders, and face, plus the front of my thighs and stomach area. They did not do this here, so I would not call this a full body massage. Besides that, the session I booked was a 55-min session. When you're laying on the table, you have no concept of time, so when she told me that our time was running short, I was surprised since she hadn't yet gotten to my legs, feet, or the hot stones that were included in the deal they offered. And that's when she hit me with the "Oh no, an hour went by so quickly. Do you want to extend for another 30 minutes so I can finish the legs, feet, stones, etc" spiel. It is not relaxing to get asked to spend more money whilst in the middle of your massage. After telling her that I had somewhere to be and couldn't stay an extra 30 minutes, she quickly offered just 15 more minutes so she could do my legs, feet, and the stones. She kept insisting it was needed to finish everything and due to the language barrier and my people-pleasing nature, I relented. So I stayed an extra 15 minutes so she could finish the things she couldn't finish in the 55 minutes I'd booked. When leaving, I assumed I'd be charged for the extra 15 minutes but wasn't sure since she didn't say anything about an extra charge when she offered it during my massage. But when checking out, the price was $70 instead of the $55 deal I'd booked. Since she was the only one there and I had somewhere to be, I just quickly paid and left. But I now understand why many of the Google reviews have people saying they extended their massage time - since they are manipulating people into it. Either they cannot manage their time well enough to accomplish the deal they're offering, or they're purposefully going slowly to make you extend your time and pay more. Overall, I'm very disappointed. I was expecting much better based on their reviews and was excited to try a new place for massages. But I do not recommend anyplace that tries to upcharge you for no good reason in the middle of a service. Edit: Had to add to this since they responded to my Google review and also reached out to offer me a full refund and a free 70-minute massage, which I declined. Their response states that they sometimes offer additional time when they have free time. The woman who was massaging me actually left my massage room two separate times randomly when the doorbell went off, then apologized when she came back, saying that she was there by herself after the manager left and she was very busy today. So, now I know they're purposefully being deceitful one way or the other. Completely unprofessional and untrustworthy business.

Green Spa came up as one of the only options that had same day availability so I figured I would give it a try. It is fairly easy to book online, but you can also call or walk in. One thing to note is that they have to locations in the mall. One on the lower level and one on the upper level. When you book, make sure that you note which location because I initially went to the one downstairs but needed to be at the one that was upstairs. (which was an interesting challenge because at the time, most of the escalators and elevators in the mall were out of service). There was some degree of a language barrier which made it a little difficult to communicate preferences, but they were able to ask about pressure of the massage and what areas you would like to focus on. If you are looking for a relaxing spa environment, this isn't it. You hear noise from the mall and some chatter from employees. It is also no frills in terms of waiting areas or decor. But if you want a massage without needing to make an appointment weeks in advance, this is a great option.

I had an appointment, but they had it in their heads, that I was a walk-in. I left my phone in the car, as to not be disturbed. Well, it was anything but. I get on the massage table, and the one lady, keeps walking in, I can barely understand her, and then she says, that I'll owe 20 more dollars than what I paid for. The whole experience was dreadful. Their understanding of English is really bad. (Or is that by design)? I kept asking them to address my knee problems, and certain areas. They didn't listen to me at all. You can take notes or take pictures and videos with your phone so that you can bring this knowledge home, but you'll also have plenty of time to work on the techniques and build them into your memory. Finally scheduled a massage with Carol a few weeks ago...and have gone back two more times since and will continue to go as long as I can afford to do so. I am a certified reflexologist and have spent hours giving sessions and also many many hours receiving massage and the like...hands down, these sessions have been at the top of the list! Carol's office is cozy and clean. She uses a warm table, towels and heating pads along with oils and essentials that don't leave the skin greasy or weird. The massage itself is always perfect with the right amount of pressure in effleurage, kneading and pressure points. She checks in beforehand to see how she can help and if I still want the same pressure. Friends commented the day after my first massage and could see the improvement in my body and energy. Sounds cheesy but I can feel how much she enjoys what she does - massage is definitely one of her callings! Parking is limited in the front of the building, but more spaces are down in the driveway to the right of it.
