Shaa put a new switch in two of these lamps.

Shaa has done quite a bit of work for me: rewiring numerous lamps, repairing a plaster bust that had become chipped, and resizing an oil painting. With each job I've thrown his way, he's exceeded my expectations, and always at a very reasonable price. Super professional and meticulous, I can't recommend him highly enough.

    Plexiglass saxophone

I had just returned from Israel and Jordan where I bought a plexi glass sculpture of a saxophone. Not everyone specializes in plexiglass, so I was able fortunately to find someone on Google in Virginia that was able to help me. Sha did an amazing job and you would never know what was broken. He is clearly a very talented man, and I highly recommend him and it was worth every bit of $120 to get it fixed.

Decided to clean out the interior of the buffet in my dining room and the shelf bracket broke before I unloaded the dishes. Bam! Two of my favorite platters took direct hit. I contacted Shams and he was so responsive. Met me the next day at his shop and completed both repairs in just a few days! His price was very reasonable and he was a delight to meet. He can repair anything!

I ordered a fairly expensive ceramic lamp that was damaged during shipping. The company was great and sent me a new one, and asked that I just dispose of the broken one. That seemed wasteful, so after staring at it for a few weeks I started researching ceramic repair and Shah's name came up. Not only is he a wizard fixing pretty much anything, but also a gifted artist which explains the incredible quality of his work. The repair was done in less than a week and he sent me pics of my lamp in progress (see B&A shots!). His prices are reasonable and he's a genuinely kind human. Would highly recommend The Master Studio.

Amazing job repairing a badly damaged Tiffany lamp, for a very modest fee. Highly recommended.

This lamp was on European current and I wanted it on American current. Not only was this done, but the woodcarving was missing a thumb and the carved and matched the color. Would highly recommend for art restoration and lighting.

Shaa did an excellent job of stretching my canvas over a new frame since the old one was warped.

Can I give 10 STARS!?…read more TLDR; John is an absolute **lifesaver**. He's a true pro who knows furniture mechanics. Call him before you call anyone else. He saved me a fortune! I was convinced I was going to have to drop several grand to replace my 10-year-old Room & Board sofa. He came in, diagnosed the issue immediately, and did a professional foam reinforcement and spring repair that has the couch sitting like it's *brand new* again. Beyond the work, he was a pleasure to deal with. He even took the time to look at a neighbor's custom furniture repair while he was here and gave them solid, friendly advice on how to save their money. No high-pressure sales from this dude. He also specializes in 'sofa surgery' -- disassembling furniture to fit through those notoriously tight DMV hallways and elevators, then rebuilding it perfectly on the other side. It's a specialized skill that is a total game-changer for anyone living in DC. Note: There are a couple of negative reviews on here which you can disregard. My experience was def the exact opposite. He is a total professional and a master of his craft. He's a vet and a nice guy. :)

For reasons I won't get into here, it made me more sense for me to hire a repairman to fix it than to go through the company's return/replacement process. I searched for a furniture pro, connected with John, and he came out the next day. John's been in the business for ~15 years. You can tell he cares a lot about his customers and takes pride in his work. He arrived, fixed the broken frame and cleaned the upholstery for an incredibly reasonable price. THE COUCH LOOKS BETTER AFTER JOHN WORKING ON IT THAN IT DID WHEN IT ARRIVED! I am very grateful that he could help me out today. Separately, I feel it's worth noting that John was very professional. I'm a woman who lives alone and am generally cautious about who comes to my home. John was NOT creepy, and I appreciated that. Ladies, if you are looking to hire someone to do furniture work around the home, you'll be fine calling Flips Furniture Service
