Seller is not proceeding to an exchange and has stopped communicating. I found a listing on e-bay for a top of the line Aireloom Riviera California King and was asked by the seller Cody to avoid eBay payments to save on the fees. Payments was difficult with Zelle restricting payments limits to his wife Breanne Martin and PayPal flagging the transaction as a potential scam but I went ahead because of the positive reviews and my faith in the common good. The signs were there and I am now paying the price of dealing with an unfortunate situation. Since the mattress was shipping from AZ to CA, I explicitly asked Cody and his wife Breanne Martin to make sure the right mattress was loaded onto the truck to avoid dealing with a return. Guess what.. I received a much lower end mattress in the wrong size! The mattress condition is also not great. At that point it is obvious the intent was never good. I called Cody right away who seemed confused and unclear with what happened and promised to get back to me the next day. He has since stopped corresponding all together. He won't pick up my calls, call or text me back and won't respond to emails either. Save yourself the trouble of having to deal with a credit card dispute and move on to buy your mattress elsewhere.

The store is organized logically, springs on one side of the store and foams on the other. Brands are sorted in three groups: up front are the thee low cost options in firm, medium and soft, then the mid-level cost, again firm thru soft and pulling in the rear the lux brand in the three firmnesses. Robby could be a little too honest and we had a well thought out discussion about my needs. I left feeling confident about the mattress and out a lot less $$ than i was expecting. Keep in mind, this is owner operated. He took some losses in 2020 with the closures and is rebuilding so if the store is closed during business hours I'm confident it'll be worth your time too to come back.

Yesterday I went into the same store after looking for an item that I wanted and again website said available today, I got in my vehicle and make the 30 minute drive there. I stood in the middle of a section (no one around) and looked for a sales person, I noticed two across the way chatting, one finally came over to where I was and asked if I needed help :-) I showed her the picture and product number of what I wanted. She said we have those on the floor "IF YOU" want to go look around for them. I asked about picking them up right then, she said there's none in the back I would have to go to Glendale, pay and come another day for them or pay $90 for shipping. I asked for a manager whom came out and said "we've been having some problems with the internet" my reply was well maybe give me free shipping or a discount for the trouble it cause the second time, to which he said no. I asked for the general manager information which i got he said he would be in around opening the following day. I called the following day about an hour after opening and the person that answered said he's not in, i replied i was told he would be in, she then said oh yea he's in but in a meeting, i asked her to give him a message and have him call and she took my information. No return call, I called back about 4 hours later, supposedly in a meeting left same message and information, and NO return call. Hell of a way to run a business.
