Location, location, location. They are conveniently located by the UofO campus, across the street from Matthew Knight Arena. My first time staying here and it was so easy to get to campus. The staff is friendly and very helpful and can answer most of your Eugene-area related questions. While there is not a large selection of places to eat, Track Town Pizza and Starbucks are adjacent to the hotel. Dutch Bros across the street, a Subway sandwich, Korean restaurant and an Indian restaurant all across the street and there also a market nearby and also a selection of fast, casual places on Franklin. Of course, more variety if you drive downtown. We got lucky and were assigned a room in the newer building, which is very nice. The building itself is bright & very modern looking--the building; the rooms are carpet free. The room we were assigned was spacious, double queen-sized beds, with a microwave and a small fridge. The bed was comfortable. Internet is fast & free--however the ISP is different from the one provided in the room versus the one in the lobby area. If you are in the main office/lobby area, you will need to switch the ISP. Continental breakfast is provided--cereals, bagels, fruit, microwave breakfast sandwiches and yogurt. The lobby/breakfast eating area is small with limited seating- 3 small round cafe table with oversized, lower than the table, chairs. During the breakfast rush, it is cramped and with limited seating, it appears to be crowded. Definitely a good place to stay and I recommend it.

Breakfast - those bagels are worth the alarm!

What they don't tell you when you book a room: - It's likely you will not get one of the newly renovated rooms, instead, they'll stick you in the old building next to the one in all the Yelp pictures - Construction is loud AF and will wake you up early - Some rooms (ours) do not have the added security of needing a keycard to enter the building. Our room was on the end and easily accessible from the alley. Rooms located in the middle have that added security. - The inside of the rooms feel like a Motel 6. Dingy walls, moth-eaten curtains, dirty floor. Pros: - The coffee and breakfast were great! - Tons of free parking - Good location

This boutique hotel is marvelous Maverick! I picked this place from Hotels.com because it was the cheapest I can afford. But, I felt so rich and pampered with its opulence. The Maverick hotel has its own merchandizing so I thought it was a chain of hotel. Turns out, it is not. The location was convenient, and the check in was swift. There were baked cookies readily available at the kiosk. I don't know if this is a thing since I'm from California and after spending nights at different hotels for the road trip, this one was very memorable. In the morning, the breakfast choices I got was such great idea. You get a bag and put in fruits, eggs, bars, and drinks. The coffee choice even has the almond milk choice to add. For those who loves postcards, they have 1 in the room and I was so happy to use it ASAP and send a letter out to remember with. Would definitely love to come back the next time I'm around.

Great lil hotel in central Eugene. Rooms were clean and well stocked. There, grab and go breakfast is no joke. The chocolate chip muffin tops were stellar. The highlight of my stay was the really delicious coffee they serve. Don't be shy and try a can of the Claim 52 beer they sell.

My husband and I stayed here on a Hot August night in route to Washington state with our German Shepherd. They have a nice lobby with room to park while you check in, and plenty of parking for the hotel. Since we stayed during a heat wave we were happy to find that the air conditioning in the room was very strong and we actually had to turn it down because we were so cold. Our room had a bathtub in it and it was a very cozy space with an outward facing door, and a nice little couch in the room with a coffee table for us to have our dinner. To mention that this place is right next to track Town Pizza, our favorite place to eat in Eugene, and directly across the street from University of Oregon. Pet owners please take note, there is a $20 pet fee. It was very quiet so it was easy to sleep, but the bed was very firm, which I enjoyed but my husband did not. Check out was also a breeze, and they provided us with two coffees to go and two cute breakfast bags that had muffin tops, granola bars, and juice in them. Great hotel for a reasonable price, will definitely stay here again.

I admit I love the colorful logo that looks like a quilt pattern The location is great for us when we visit. Very large room in a minimalist style( could use a picture on the wall) it's set up in a cozy way like a studio apt. Nice table with two chairs and a overstuffed chair also. Looks recently painted. Bathtub was great towels fluffy. Our dog likes it.when we checked in they gave us a treat bag for her. Nice assortment of Tazo teas to enjoy before bed. Microwave and fridge and coffee maker.

On April 10, our company (5 of us) stopped here in Eugene during a road trip to the Wooden Shoe…read moreTulip Farm and picked this Hyatt expecting the usual reliable quality. Check-in was smooth, and the staff member who greeted us was genuinely pleasant and cool, giving us some extra water and few green bags of goodies (returned the next day), promising to wave the parking fee. That's where the positives ended. After a long drive, we dropped our bags in da rooms and went out for a dinner without inspecting our rooms a bit closely. When we returned later that night and checked the beds with a UV light, we were shocked to find stains on both beds. It was darn disturbing (photos attached)! We went down to the front desk to report it. The night staff told us there was no one available to change the linens and no other rooms available to change at full occupancy. Instead, we were handed a set of sheets and sent back to deal with it ourselves. After 10 PM, exhausted, we had no real choice but to accept it. In the morning, we raised the issue again with the new front desk rep. The replacement sheets were not much better, and despite our complaint, the response was limited to verbal apologies only. We were still charged full price for the night, plus a $20 parking fee for overfilled parking lot that's essentially had open access from the street. This is not the level of cleanliness or service expected from a Hyatt. Do your due diligence and do not assume standards are being met. Check your room carefully before settling in. Breakfast on the other hand was great! Variety of eggs, milks and healthy choices beat other Hyatt locations we stated at the next day in Portland. Loved it, and that what basically got the stars.

Overall, good experience. Great location near a mall and Trader Joe's. Convenient (though not…read morefree) parking. Friendly staff. The breakfast was good and they had vegetarian sausage and bacon which I have never seen in a complimentary hotel breakfast! Only complaint is that when I didn't want my room cleaned, they put a weird note on my door and came in anyway. The gal at the front desk had bi idea what I was talking about and wasn't aware of the policy to enter even when the guest does not want anyone to enter.

Let's start with the positives…read more Booked a double queen. It was clean. Decent rate. And it's right next to Oregon State police for those who feel it would add to your safe feeling. Shout out Jose- Manager training a new lady. Amazing guy. Front of hotel looks much better than the rest of it Who ever works the night shift 10/28 front desk.. probably shouldn't be in hospitality. I went down... spoke to him, he looks at me and straight ignored me. I was going to go down and get my welcome gift that you usually get when checking in but it was such a turn off.. I just left. The AC in the room reeeks of mold. I hate this with hotels because Mold actually can get you sick. ( should know this). Plus I had my baby with me. They lied to me earlier today about being sold out for tonight. Funny thing is, I worked with Hilton. I know systems are slow to update but the room I did request is still up tonight . It's 11:32pm. ( yes Guest can still check in) however it's somewhat unlikely being that we are out of tourist season in this area. Also room had no body wash. Not a hard fix but just had conditioner and a bottle of shampoo sitting on side of tub. Either way to end this review: 1. Rooms were decently clean. That's what Matters the most. 2. Last night staff I get it. Don't be fake but do realize... attitude within hospitality matters here in America lol. 3. I'm not a slow cookie. I don't like being lied to Hilton. :/. ---- I didn't take pictures this time but photos looked decently accurate. 3 stars is what I would give it. Would I stay again.. probably.
